  • Passing data attribute to TextBoxFor not working

    - by john G
    I have the following code inside my ASP.NET MVC 4 razor view: <div> <span class="f">Old Tag</span> @Html.TextBoxFor(model => model.olfTag, new { data_autocomplete_source = Url.Action("AutoComplete", "Home") }) @Html.ValidationMessageFor(model => model.olfTag) </div> But data_autocomplete_source with TextBoxFor will not work. Can anyone give me some advice?

  • log4bash: Cannot find a way to add MaxBackupIndex to this logger implementation

I have been trying to modify this log4bash implementation but I cannot manage to make it work. It looks like the issue is due to the following line not working properly: builtin eval export $previousFilenameVar=$filename I have a some theories to explain why: in the original code, functions are declared and exported as readonly which makes them unable to modify global variable. I removed readonly declarations in the above sample, but probleme persists. Function calls are performed in $() which should make them run into seperated shell instances so variable modified are not exported to the main shell But I cannot manage to find a workaround to this issue... Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

  • Eclipse project artefacts in Maven repository

    - by Georgios Gousios
I want to use some of the libraries produced by the Eclipse project through Maven. I 've had a look at the main Maven repo and while it looks like that there are a few projects already imported, their versions are old and some important ones are missing (e.g. cdt). Is there any Eclipse project official Maven repository? If not, what would be the best option to use current versions of libraries such as the JDT compiler in a maven-enabled project?

  • Rearranged columns in C#

    - by chown
How can I get the rearranged columns out of a datagridview in C#? I need to get all the columns currently being displayed in order. I can get the default columns order by setting datagridview.AutoGenerateColumns=false but I get the same old order even after I've rearranged the columns in my table. Thanks

  • OpenGL: Implementing transformation matrix stack

    - by Jakub M.
In a newer OpenGL there is no matrix stack. I am working on a simple display engine, and I am going to implement the transformation stack. What is a common strategy here? Should I build a push/pop stack, and use it with a tree representing my model? I suppose this is the "old" approach, that was deprecated in the newer OpenGL versions. Maybe then it is not the best solution (it was removed for some reason)

  • Previous version of ant manual

    - by Brian
Ugh, I can't believe I have to ask this, but where can I find previous versions of the ant manual (http://ant.apache.org/manual/index.html)? That page says, "Please use the documentation appropriate to your current version" but I can't find anything other than the current version (1.8.0) on the Web site - I had to resort to using archive.org to find the old version (which I would consider a hack, not a clean solution)...

  • Real world examples of tree structures

    - by Arec Barrwin
I'm looking for some examples of tree structures that are used in commercial/free software projects, modern or old. I can see examples on wikipedia, but I am looking for more concrete examples and how they're used. For example primary keys in databases are (from what I've read) stored in BST structure or a variation of the BST (feel free to correct me on this) My question isn't limited Binary Search Trees (BSTs), it can include any variation such as red-black, AVL and so on.

  • What was the most refreshingly honest non-technical comment you saw in the code?

    - by DVK
OK, so we all saw the lists of "funny" or "bad" comments. However, today, when maintaining an old stored proc, I stumbled upon a comment which I couldn't classify other than "refreshingly brutally honest", left by a previous maintainer around a really freakish (both performance and readability-wise) page-long query: -- Feel free to optimize this if you can understand what it means So, in the first (and hopefully only) poll type question in my history of Stack Overflow, I'd like to hear some other "refreshingly brutally honest" code comments you encountered or written.

  • How to determine the current view bounds in split view of Ipad App?

    - by Mahesh
Hello friends, I have tried following code to determine current view bounds in shouldAutoRotate.. fn UIViewController *temp1 = [appDelegate.splitViewController.viewControllers objectAtIndex:1]; float screenwidth = temp1.view.bounds.size.width; float screenheight = temp1.view.bounds.size.height; bt actually when u rotate from one mode to another, it provides the bound values of old one insted the fresh bound values..? Any one know that how to achieve it?

  • Covariance and contravariance real world example

    - by Sir Psycho
I'm having a little trouble understaing how I would use covariance and contravariance in the real world. So far, the only example's I've seen have been the same old array example. object[] objectArray = new string[] { "string 1", "string 2" }; It would be nice to see an example that would allow me to use it during my development if I could see it being used elsewhere. Can anyone point me to some useful resources?

  • Force Binding Update Silverlight

    - by Matt
How can I force my objects DataContext bindings to update? I'm using an event on a grid, and binding updates are not being processed before my event fires. Any cheap tricks to get around this? In the end I can always do things the old manual way of getting the values from my textboxes and updating my object, but it'd be nice to have binding do it for me.

  • How do I tell GWT to not compile a permutation for gears

    - by Clinton Bosch
I have included gwt-html5-geolocation into my GWT project and was disappointed to find that it doubled up on my number of permutations compiled. Apparently if the browser does not support geolocation API then it falls back to use gears to find out your location. Is there a way to NOT compile a permutation for gears similar to the way you can tell GWT to only compile certain browser permutations? (the geolocation stuff is very much a nice-to-have and frankly if the client is running an old browser then I am happy not to get their location) Thanks

  • How do I reset a tabcontoller with a drill down table view

    - by Bob
Hi, I have a tabbar with one of the tabs containing a drilldown table. I am having problems once the user has finished using the drilldown table. If they change to another tab, then change back to the original tab, the original tab is still where I left it (at the bottom of the drill down showing the detail view) What I want is on moving to an alternative tab the old tab resets I have tried adding all sorts of stuff to -(void)viewDidDisappear and -(void)viewDidUnload with no success What do I need to do? Cheers

  • Is Spring.Threading.Helpers still supported?

    - by Paul Morrison
I am converting some old C# code, and it has a CountDownLatch using a package called Spring.Threading.Helpers. The odd thing is that I can't find this package on Google - so a) is it still supported? And, if so, where is it documented? b) What I really want to do is wait for a count to get to zero, but interrupt every so many msecs. Would it just be simpler to set up another thread, and do WaitOnes on an Event specifying an interval? TIA

  • When I change templates in Netbeans, why doesn't anything happen?

    - by Matthew
I want to modify the "Java class" template, so that the class javadoc comment includes more than just the author. In Netbeans 6.8., I go to Tools Templates Java Java Class, and modify the template. However, nothing seems to change. I tried restarting Netbeans, just in case, but the old template is still used. How do I get Netbeans to recognize changes to the template for Java Classes?
