    I have the following code: NSMutableDictionary *jsonObj = [parser objectWithString:json_string error:nil]; NSString *test = [[[jsonObj objectForKey:@"questions"] valueForKey:@"owner"] valueForKey:key]; but what I get back is: ( 1a19f089a2bc4ee42bff1c102c6e89b8 ) The actual value is fine, but I get those parenthesis, which show up in my string. How can I get rid of them?

  • Scrum meeting - dealing with the last question

    In the 5/15 minute scrum meeting the 3 questions are asked. For the last question "what impediments are getting in your way" If a dev has problems - the xyz is going to have problems, this is likely going to draw the meeting out past 15 mins and could go into a hour long discussion. Is it the scrum masters job to help this user, is there something to stop this from going on more than 15 mins. Thoughts?

    Hello all , I am trying to create url routing like this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/dd347546.aspx but I am having few questions , first why he is adding lines to the web.config , I tested it and it didnt appear that they're doing something as I commented them and nothing major appeared second I am having this line of code that is crashing var display = BuildManager.CreateInstanceFromVirtualPath(_virtualPath,typeof(Page)) as IProfileHandler; when casted as ihttphandler it's working , but when I am casting it to iprofilehandler(which is implemeting ihttphandler) it's giving null !

  • Understanding java's native threads and the jvm

    I understand that the jvm is itself an application that turns the bytecode of the java executable into native machine code, but when using native threads I have some questions that I just cannot seem to answer. Does every thread create their own instance of the jvm to handle their particular execution? If not then does the jvm have to have some way to schedule which thread it will handle next, if so wouldn't this render the multi-threaded nature of java useless since only one thread can be ran at a time?

    I'm creating a ASP.NET MVC 2 application that envolve a section like questions here in stackoverflow (mine is with exams is another kind of application but can be extrapolate to same general idea of SO). OK I'm creating a cache per page, its mean something like this: [OutputCache(Duration=60, VaryByParam="page")] ActionResult AllQuestions(int page){...} But i want to invalidate that cache when a new question is created. What can i do. I'm open to suggestions, perhaps this is not the best way to solve this problem

    I am studying COM so there're some basic questions puzzling me... I know that IDL file is used to describe the method definitions (or the so called 'contract' between software modules), and the .H header files contains something like a method prototype, which looks similar to what the IDL is meant for.     Is it possible to require the user be authenticated (logged in) when downloading ZIP files from my site? Note that I don't have direct control of IIS7. (I'm on a shared hosting account.) I can't simply alter the access for a particular directory because many directories are involved and most contain other files that can be accessed freely. I've Googled this a bit and found similar questions. But I've been unable to find this exact question.
