    Before asking question let me tell you some assumptions here there are 5 files on my webserver index.php config.php read.php write.php .htaccess I've wrote following URL rewriting rule in .htaccess RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^(\w+)$ read.php?id=$1 Now when I type domain.com/xyz it fetch data from read.php?id=xyz thats nice :) But when I type domain.com/index it fetch data from index.php or when i type domain.com/write or domain.com/config or domain.com/read it fetch data from write.php , config.php and read.php respectively I want data to be fectched from read.php?id=index or read.php?id=config or read.php?id=read or read.php?id=write Any one can help me regarding this ?   • Employee Tracking: Is there a similar software to Elance WorkView or oDesk "Team Room"?

    We are looking for a great commercial or free tool which can monitor all our remote employees and keep the reports centrally. We need it similar to Elance WorkView or oDesk "Team Room", what these tools do is: Take screenshots at random interval. Track the activity on computer based on key strokes. (not a necessity) It doesn't necessarily need to track time but will be good to have, our aim is to monitor employees and make sure they're working - that's all. I'll give oDesk Team Room 10/10 and I haven't been able to find such tool. Is there anyone who can suggest such tool? Thanks

  • Host multiple domains with Apache on a VPS

    Hi I have recently bought a windows VPS and installed apache, mysql using xampp. All services are running fine. I can access the hosted site using the IP of VPS but what I need to do is host multiple domains on that server. Actually my requirement was to use htaccess on a php based site but the site had to access data from ms sql server as well. So needed to enable php_mssql.dll in the php.ini which no shared hosting was supporting. Had to go for this VPS. Plesk was installed by default but as htaccess wont work with IIS, I had to stop IIS service and install apache there. Now all is well, but I need to find a way to host multiple domains there. When I bought the VPS they hosting people sent me the dedicated IP of the server and also I have the 2 name servers required to host domains. What is the next step? Exactly which file I need to modify to get things done? Please help! Any kind of help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for all of your kind help and time.

  • JSP Content Issue in Tomcat

    There is one application where I work where there are still manual builds used i.e manually moving the servlet classes and jsp files from Dev to QA and finally to Prod. This is the method used in this application which cant be changed for some wierd reasons.BTW this is not the problem. We did a manual build where we transferred jsp files from QA to PROD recently. And we noticed that the jsp file content does not correspond to the updated jsp's but have the same content to the jsp file which was present in the server prior to the deployment. We did not re-start tomcat since jsp files upon updation automatically changes its contents. This problem persisted even after 6 hours of deployment If we consider the time standards which are different which may cause some delay. So to fix this we had to individually go into every jsp file and just type something save it and delete this change and save it.Then it worked perfectly. But finally the jsp file content before and after was never changed we just did this to change the modification date. If we think in terms of timestamp problem how can this be possible coz the old jsp files which were present in the server prior to deployment was atlest one month old and the ones getting deployed were defenitely newer than that. Why did this happen? This did not happen when we did same type of deployments earlier. How can we prevent this from happening in the future.

  • Using Shapefile data to determine neighborhood for a longitude/latitude

    I'm trying to determine the neighborhood for a location, based on Zillow's freely published Shapefile data. I don't really know anything about the Shapefile format, and am having some trouble finding tutorials online -- but I basically want to take latitude/longitude pairs, and run it against the Shapefile data to determine the corresponding neighborhood(s).     I have created a nonconsumable in app purchase item and now I want to create a consumable in-app purchase by which a user to buy it every time he uses it,and also I want to create a subscription model In-App purchase. Everything works as expected except when I buy the item more than one time, iPhone pop ups a message saying "You've already purchased the item. Do You want to buy it again?".   • Draw polygon using mouse on google maps

    I need to draw polygon using mouse and mark a particular area on google maps. The purpose is to mark an area on google maps and then showing hotels and attractions on that area. The user will mark the hotels on google map while creating them so the db will have their latitude and longitudes. How can I draw the polygon and fill it with a color as background to mark the area in Google Maps? I have read the API Manual “how to draw polygons?” basically you would need to mark multiple points and then combine them into a polygon. But I will need to do this using mouse drag, just like drawing a shape. Kindly help me out how to achieve this. Thanks in advance.

  • Does Microsoft still sell FAST ESP?

    I wanted some information about FAST ESP search engine. After failing to get any response from the email query system on Microsoft site I called their ore-sales phone number. The person there told me the only way they sell FAST ESP is as a bundled product with SharePoint. That really does not make any sense and contradicts all the PDF documents they have about FAST ESP on their site. Does anyone know who to contact at Microsoft to discuss this product?

  • Cyclic References and WCF

    I have generated my POCO entities using POCO Generator, I have more than 150+ tables in my database. I am sharing POCO entities all across the application layers including the client. I have disabled both LazyLoading and ProxyCreation in my context.I am using WCF on top of my data access and business layer. Now, When I return a poco entity to my client, I get an error saying "Underlying connection was closed" I enabled WCF tracing and found the exact error : Contains cycles and cannot be serialized if reference tracking is disabled. I Looked at MSDN and found solutions like setting IsReference=true in the DataContract method atttribute but I am not decorating my POCO classes with DataContracts and I assume there is no need of it as well. I won't be calling that as a POCO if I decorate a class with DataContract attribute Then, I found solutions like applying custom attribute [CyclicReferenceAware] over my ServiceContracts.That did work but I wanted to throw this question to community to see how other people managed this and also why Microsoft didn't give built in support for figuring out cyclic references while serializing POCO classes

  • Paypal IPN setup...Ship to Zipcode and auto calculation

    Hi I have successfully setup paypal IPN on my site and its working fine. From my paypal account I have set options to ass shipping and tax calculations(only if it's Iowa). But the only issue is, on the paypal checkout page it's asking me to enter the "Ship to Zipcode" manually...if I enter and update only then the net payable is getting updated with the shipping and tax charges. Is there any variable via which I could send the ship to zip code which will work directly on the cart and make it auto calculate the charges and show it? I have tried both "zip" and "address_zip" variables. None of them worked. By the way I have multiple items on my cart so I am using the "cart" transaction type. Thanks in advance for your help.

But anything else parat from those keywords should redirect to cms.php as a parameter as you can see. But the problem is that every keyword is getting redirected to cms.php. Whereas I want any other keyword apart from which are already hard coded in .htaccess file should go cms.php. Not just every keyword. Example: www.sitename.com/online-products -> www.sitename.com/products.php?type=online www.sitename.com/about-the-website -> www.sitename.com/cms.php?id=about-the-website www.sitename.com/product-news -> www.sitename.com/product-news.php Also another issue I am facing is I can not use any keyword with space.     I have a product category table with the following fields: cat_id (PK) Cat_name Cat_desc Parent_Cat_Id Now when a user wants to add a product he should be able to select multiple categories from a listbox(multiselection enabaled). But to let the user know the hierarchy of the categories, I need to display them in the following style: parent category 1 parent category 1-sub category 1 parent category 1-sub category 1-sub-sub category 1 parent category 1-sub category 1-sub-sub category 2 parent category 1-sub category 2 Parent category 2 ... I know that to achieve this I need to use recursive programming. But how can we do it via stored procedures? That would be much more efficient, right? Thanks in advance for your kind help.

    Hi If you go to http://ifdefined.com/btnet/bugs.aspx you will see a long list of sample data in an asp.net gridview control. What I need to do is something similar. I need to implement the filtering system by placing dropdown controls with dynamic values on the headers and then filter the record according to them.   • Google checkout - Order processing notification handler

    Hi I need to integrate google checkout on my website. I have successfully implemented the order placing and others stuff and using the sandbox I have tested that users can successfully add items to cart and and pay thereafter. I am using my own customized shopping cart written in php mysql. The last thing I need to do is pass the new order id to google checkout and receive notifications with the new order id as well as other data google sends. I know I have to setup a path to the handler script in my accounts. I did it in my sandbox account as well. But can't find a simple pice of code to get it done. Even if I use sample code from google, just cant figure out the format of the returned data in new order notification and also how to send custom data to the cart, which would come back with new order notifications? I am just lost on this. Please help!
