  • Regex with all optional parts but at least one required

    I need to write a regex that matches strings like "abc", "ab", "ac", "bc", "a", "b", "c". Order is important and it shouldn't match multiple appearances of the same part. a?b?c? almost does the trick. Except it matches empty strings too. Is there any way to prevent it from matching empty strings or maybe a different way to write a regex for the task.

For example, permutations(range(3)) --> 012 021 102 120 201 210 combinations('ABCD', 2) --> AB AC AD BC BD CD [list(g) for k, g in groupby('AAAABBBCCD')] --> AAAA BBB CC D What are the equivalent in Ruby? By equivalent, I mean fast and memory efficient (Python's itertools module is written in C).

    I execute the following command line for ffmpeg.exe -i C:\Beema\video-source\DO_U_BEEMA176x144short.avi -i C:\Beema\video-source\DO_U_BEEMA176x144short.avi -i C:\Beema\temp\9016730-51056331-stitcheds.avi -i C:\Beema\video-source\GOTTA_BEEMA176x144short.avi -y -ac 1 -r 24 -b 25K C:\Beema\video-out\9a062fb6-d448-48fe-b006-a85d51adf8a1.mpg The output file in video-out ends up having a single copy of DO_U_BEEMA. I do not understand why ffmpeg is not concatenating. Any help is dramatically appreciated,

    I am building a C++ application that uses Intel's IPP library. This library is installed by default in /opt and requires you to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH both for compiling and for running your software (if you choose the shared library linking, which I did). I already modified my configure.ac/Makefile.am so that I do not need to set that variable when compiling, but I still can't find the shared library at run-time; how do I do that? I'm compiling with the -Wl, -R/path/to/lib flag using g++

I found this remark in BOL: MIN finds the lowest value in the collating sequence defined in the underlying database So if I have a table that has one row with the following values: Data AA AB AC Doing a SELECT MIN(DATA) would return back AA. This is only not working only in IE 7 with IE 7/8/9 standards (I am changing the standard options from Developer window).     Hi Everyone As everybody knows the en-US Keyboard-layout is the best one for programming. So I'd like to use it in my IDEs. But since I live in a non-en-US country I need the de-CH layout for all other applications. Now I wonder if it is possible to set the layout depending to which application currently has the focus.
