    A rather unusual situation perhaps, but I want to specify a private SSH-key to use when executing a shell (git) command from the local computer. Basically like this: git clone [email protected]:TheUser/TheProject.git -key "/home/christoffer/ssh_keys/theuser" Or even better (in Ruby): with_key("/home/christoffer/ssh_keys/theuser") do sh("git clone [email protected]:TheUser/TheProject.git") end I have seen examples of connecting to a remote server with Net::SSH that uses a specified private key, but this is a local command. Is it possible? Thanks

    I have a list called cols with column names in it: cols <- c('Column1','Column2','Column3') I'd like to reproduce this command, but with a call to the list: data.frame(Column1=rnorm(10)) Here's what happens when I try it: > data.frame(cols[1]=rnorm(10)) Error: unexpected '=' in "data.frame(I(cols[1])=" The same thing happens if I wrap cols[1] in I() or eval(). How can I feed that item from the vector into the data.frame() command?

    In MainWindow the commandbinding works fine. In UserControl1 it doesnt work. Note the datacontext is set correctly as is evidenced by the content of the button which is the result of a binding. I am not trying to bind the command in the usercontrol to a command in mainwindow or any other such trickery.     Hello I want to attach to a running process using 'ddd', what I manually do is: # ps -ax | grep PROCESS_NAME Then I get a list and the pid, then I type: # ddd PROCESS_NAME THE_PID Is there is a way to type just one command directly? Remark: When I type ps -ax | grep PROCESS_NAME <- grep will match both the process and grep command line itself.

    I have this scenario: I have a chain of query handlers, the first is to query the cache, if the cache can't answer it or the answer is stale, then hit a database, if it can't find the answer or the answer is stale again, then query a remote web service. But I am not sure if this is the right way to use this pattern, since the work flow is pretty much fixed, and the cache and database handlers depend on the next step's return result to refresh its records.

    I need to take a file and find the first occurrence of a literal string pattern as a complete line of the file: Acknowledgments: And then I wish to create a new file from the line of match all the way to the end of the file. I expect perl is a good way to do this, but I'm not much of a perl person, alternatively maybe sed is a good way? Please suggest a simple way to reliably accomplish this in Unix.
