  • Mybatis nested collection doesn't work correctly with column prefix

    - by Shikarn-O
    I need to set collection for object in another collection using mybatis mappings. It works for me w/o using columnPrefix, but I need it since there are a lot of repeteable columns. <collection property="childs" javaType="ArrayList" ofType="org.example.mybatis.Child" resultMap="ChildMap" columnPrefix="c_"/> </resultMap> <resultMap id="ChildMap" type="org.example.mybatis.Parent"> <id column="Id" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="id" /> <id column="ParentId" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="parentId" /> <id column="Name" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="name" /> <id column="SurName" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="surName" /> <id column="Age" jdbcType="INTEGER" property="age" /> <collection property="toys" javaType="ArrayList" ofType="org.example.mybatis.Toy" resultMap="ToyMap" columnPrefix="t_"/> </resultMap> <resultMap id="ToyMap" type="org.example.mybatis.Toy"> <id column="Id" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="id" /> <id column="ChildId" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="childId" /> <id column="Name" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="name" /> <id column="Color" jdbcType="VARCHAR" property="color" /> </resultMap> <sql id="Parent_Column_List"> p.Id, p.Name, p.SurName, </sql> <sql id="Child_Column_List"> c.Id as c_Id, c.ParentId as c_ParentId, c.Name as c_Name, c.SurName as c_Surname, c.Age as c_Age, </sql> <sql id="Toy_Column_List"> t.Id as t_Id, t.Name as t_Name, t.Color as t_Color </sql> <select id="getParent" parameterType="java.lang.String" resultMap="ParentMap" > select <include refid="Parent_Column_List"/> <include refid="Child_Column_List" /> <include refid="Toy_Column_List" /> from Parent p left outer join Child c on p.Id = c.ParentId left outer join Toy t on c.Id = t.ChildId where p.id = #{id,jdbcType=VARCHAR} With columnPrefix all works fine, but nested toys collection is empty. Sql query on database works correctly and all toys are joined. May be i missed something or this is bug with mybatis?

  • Cucumber response object -- PHP environment

    - by trisignia
    Hi, I'm using Cucumber to test a PHP application, and while most everything works without issue, I haven't yet figured out how to retrieve a response object for a request -- I'm looking to test whether a response is successful (code 200) and also to perform some Hpricot parsings of the response body. Right now my env.rb file is pretty simple: require 'webrat' include Webrat::Methods include Webrat::Matchers Webrat.configure do |config| config.mode = :mechanize end And if I put something like this in my step definitions: Given /Debug/ do puts response.to_yaml end I get this error: undefined method `response' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError) ./features/step_definitions/webrat_steps.rb:11:in `/Debug/' features/versions.feature:4:in `Given Debug' Is anyone familiar with this type of situation? best, Jacob

  • ubuntu: sem_timedwait not waking (C)

    - by gillez
    I have 3 processes which need to be synchronized. Process one does something then wakes process two and sleeps, which does something then wakes process three and sleeps, which does something and wakes process one and sleeps. The whole loop is timed to run around 25hz (caused by an external sync into process one before it triggers process two in my "real" application). I use sem_post to trigger (wake) each process, and sem_timedwait() to wait for the trigger. This all works successfully for several hours. However at some random time (usually after somewhere between two and four hours), one of the processes starts timing out in sem_timedwait(), even though I am sure the semaphore is being triggered with sem_post(). To prove this I even use sem_getvalue() immediately after the timeout, and the value is 1, so the timedwait should have been triggered. Please see following code: #include <stdio.h> #include <time.h> #include <string.h> #include <errno.h> #include <semaphore.h> sem_t trigger_sem1, trigger_sem2, trigger_sem3; // The main thread process. Called three times with a different num arg - 1, 2 or 3. void *thread(void *arg) { int num = (int) arg; sem_t *wait, *trigger; int val, retval; struct timespec ts; struct timeval tv; switch (num) { case 1: wait = &trigger_sem1; trigger = &trigger_sem2; break; case 2: wait = &trigger_sem2; trigger = &trigger_sem3; break; case 3: wait = &trigger_sem3; trigger = &trigger_sem1; break; } while (1) { // The first thread delays by 40ms to time the whole loop. // This is an external sync in the real app. if (num == 1) usleep(40000); // print sem value before we wait. If this is 1, sem_timedwait() will // return immediately, otherwise it will block until sem_post() is called on this sem. sem_getvalue(wait, &val); printf("sem%d wait sync sem%d. val before %d\n", num, num, val); // get current time and add half a second for timeout. gettimeofday(&tv, NULL); ts.tv_sec = tv.tv_sec; ts.tv_nsec = (tv.tv_usec + 500000); // add half a second if (ts.tv_nsec > 1000000) { ts.tv_sec++; ts.tv_nsec -= 1000000; } ts.tv_nsec *= 1000; /* convert to nanosecs */ retval = sem_timedwait(wait, &ts); if (retval == -1) { // timed out. Print value of sem now. This should be 0, otherwise sem_timedwait // would have woken before timeout (unless the sem_post happened between the // timeout and this call to sem_getvalue). sem_getvalue(wait, &val); printf("!!!!!! sem%d sem_timedwait failed: %s, val now %d\n", num, strerror(errno), val); } else printf("sem%d wakeup.\n", num); // get value of semaphore to trigger. If it's 1, don't post as it has already been // triggered and sem_timedwait on this sem *should* not block. sem_getvalue(trigger, &val); if (val <= 0) { printf("sem%d send sync sem%d. val before %d\n", num, (num == 3 ? 1 : num+1), val); sem_post(trigger); } else printf("!! sem%d not sending sync, val %d\n", num, val); } } int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { pthread_t t1, t2, t3; // create semaphores. val of sem1 is 1 to trigger straight away and start the whole ball rolling. if (sem_init(&trigger_sem1, 0, 1) == -1) perror("Error creating trigger_listman semaphore"); if (sem_init(&trigger_sem2, 0, 0) == -1) perror("Error creating trigger_comms semaphore"); if (sem_init(&trigger_sem3, 0, 0) == -1) perror("Error creating trigger_vws semaphore"); pthread_create(&t1, NULL, thread, (void *) 1); pthread_create(&t2, NULL, thread, (void *) 2); pthread_create(&t3, NULL, thread, (void *) 3); pthread_join(t1, NULL); pthread_join(t2, NULL); pthread_join(t3, NULL); } The following output is printed when the program is running correctly (at the start and for a random but long time after). The value of sem1 is always 1 before thread1 waits as it sleeps for 40ms, by which time sem3 has triggered it, so it wakes straight away. The other two threads wait until the semaphore is received from the previous thread. [...] sem1 wait sync sem1. val before 1 sem1 wakeup. sem1 send sync sem2. val before 0 sem2 wakeup. sem2 send sync sem3. val before 0 sem2 wait sync sem2. val before 0 sem3 wakeup. sem3 send sync sem1. val before 0 sem3 wait sync sem3. val before 0 sem1 wait sync sem1. val before 1 sem1 wakeup. sem1 send sync sem2. val before 0 [...] However, after a few hours, one of the threads begins to timeout. I can see from the output that the semaphore is being triggered, and when I print the value after the timeout is is 1. So sem_timedwait should have woken up well before the timeout. I would never expect the value of the semaphore to be 1 after the timeout, save for the very rare occasion (almost certainly never but it's possible) when the trigger happens after the timeout but before I call sem_getvalue. Also, once it begins to fail, every sem_timedwait() on that semaphore also fails in the same way. See the following output, which I've line-numbered: 01 sem3 wait sync sem3. val before 0 02 sem1 wakeup. 03 sem1 send sync sem2. val before 0 04 sem2 wakeup. 05 sem2 send sync sem3. val before 0 06 sem2 wait sync sem2. val before 0 07 sem1 wait sync sem1. val before 0 08 !!!!!! sem3 sem_timedwait failed: Connection timed out, val now 1 09 sem3 send sync sem1. val before 0 10 sem3 wait sync sem3. val before 1 11 sem3 wakeup. 12 !! sem3 not sending sync, val 1 13 sem3 wait sync sem3. val before 0 14 sem1 wakeup. [...] On line 1, thread 3 (which I have confusingly called sem1 in the printf) waits for sem3 to be triggered. On line 5, sem2 calls sem_post for sem3. However, line 8 shows sem3 timing out, but the value of the semaphore is 1. thread3 then triggers sem1 and waits again (10). However, because the value is already 1, it wakes straight away. It doesn't send sem1 again as this has all happened before control is given to thread1, however it then waits again (val is now 0) and sem1 wakes up. This now repeats for ever, sem3 always timing out and showing that the value is 1. So, my question is why does sem3 timeout, even though the semaphore has been triggered and the value is clearly 1? I would never expect to see line 08 in the output. If it times out (because, say thread 2 has crashed or is taking too long), the value should be 0. And why does it work fine for 3 or 4 hours first before getting into this state? This is using Ubuntu 9.4 with kernel 2.6.28. The same procedure has been working properly on Redhat and Fedora. But I'm now trying to port to ubuntu! Thanks for any advice, Giles

  • Dynamic attributes with Rails and Mongoid

    - by japancheese
    Hello, I'm learning MongoDB through the Mongoid Ruby gem with Rails (Rails 3 beta 3), and I'm trying to come up with a way to create dynamic attributes on a model based on fields from another model, which I thought a schema-less database would be a good choice for. So for example, I'd have the models: class Account include Mongoid::Document field :name, :type => String field :token, :type => String field :info_needed, :type => Array embeds_many :members end class Member include Mongoid::Document embedded_in :account, :inverse_of => :members end I'm looking to take the "info_needed" attribute of the Account model and created dynamic attributes on the Member model based on what's inside. If club.info_needed was ["first_name", "last_name"], I'm trying to create a form that would save first_name and last_name attributes to the Member model. However, upon practice, I just keep getting "undefined method first_name=" errors on the Member model when trying to do this. I know MongoDB can handle dynamic attributes per record, but how can I get Mongoid to do this without an undefined method error?

  • Custom types in OpenCL kernel

    - by Studer
    Is it possible to use custom types in OpenCL kernel like gmp types (mpz_t, mpq_t, …) ? To have something like that (this kernel doesn't build just because of #include <gmp.h>) : #include <gmp.h> __kernel square( __global mpz_t* input, __global mpz_t number, __global int* output, const unsigned int count) { int i = get_global_id(0); if(i < count) output[i] = mpz_divisible_p(number,input[i]); } Or maybe does OpenCL already have types that can handle large numbers ?

  • Git ignore sub folders

    - by Marcel
    I have a lot of projects in my .Net solution. I would like to exclude all "bin/Debug" and "bin/Release" folders (and their contents), but still include the "bin" folder itself and any dll's contained therein. .gitignore with "bin/" ignores "Debug" and "Release" folders, but also any dll's contained in the "bin" folder. "bin/Debug" or "bin/Release" in the .gitignore file does not exclude the directories, unless I fully qualify the ignore pattern as "Solution/Project/bin/Debug" - which I don't want to do as I will need to include this full pattern for each project in my solution, as well as add it for any new projects added. Any suggestions?

  • Resizing screenshots/screen captures for inclusion in Beamer

    - by Stephen
    Sorry, this may or may not be a programming question directly, but I am trying to resize screenshots with Imagemagick and Gimp to include in a Beamer presentation, but it comes out even blurrier than the resizing done by LaTeX. For instance, in Beamer I might have a command to rescale the image \includegraphics[width=.5\textwidth]{fig.png}. Using something like \begin{frame} \message{width = \the\textwidth} \message{height = \the\textheight} \end{frame} I have gotten the \textwidth and \textheight parameters in points (345.69548, 261.92444). So I have a script (in Python) that sends a system call to Imagemagick: 'convert %s -resize %.6f@ resized_%s' % (f,a,f) where a is calculated as \textwidth*\textheight*0.5**2. When I then go back into my Beamer presentation and include the resized figure, \includegraphics{resized_fig.png}, the size looks approximately correct but it's super-blurry. I also tried resizing in Gimp (using the GUI) but no luck either... help? Thanks...

  • CVS: command-line diff on a remote CVS server between two HEAD revs

    - by Gugussee
    My CVS-fu is not very strong anymore (after years of SVN'ing and now Mercurial'ing). I'm trying to do a diff between two revisions of the HEAD branch (everything is in the HEAD anyway). I received an IDE already set up to use a :pserver:myname@cvsserver:port/cvs/project CVS. I'm on Windows XP. I do not want to use the IDE (the goal here is to learn CVS a bit more). Apparently I cannot login using SSH to the CVS server. How can I run a remote CVS diff between two HEAD revs using the command line? P.S: I am new here, mod me up so I can comment etc. :)

  • C++ pass enum as parameter

    - by Spencer
    If I have a simple class like this one for a card: class Card { public: enum Suit { CLUBS, DIAMONDS, HEARTS, SPADES }; Card(Suit suit); }; and I then want to create an instance of a card in another file how do I pass the enum? #include "Card.h" using namespace std; int main () { Suit suit = Card.CLUBS; Card card(suit); return 0; } error: 'Suit' was not declared in this scope I know this works: #include "Card.h" using namespace std; int main () { Card card(Card.CLUBS); return 0; } but how do I create a variable of type Suit in another file? Thanks, Spencer

  • gtkmm Setup (netbeans)

    - by m00st
    I've installed gtkmm. I've attempted using the tutorials to #include "gtkmm.h" sadly it was not working. So I attempted to include the library manually. I managed to do that but the wealth of all the other libraries are not being included... I cannot find anything on Google on how to fix this... How do I fix this problem without importing 20+ libraries? I get the error from G++: "unresolved includes from gtkmm.h" What am I not doing correctly here?

  • Time complexity of a sorting algorithm

    - by Passonate Learner
    The two programs below get n integers from file and calculates the sum of ath to bth integers q(number of question) times. I think the upper program has worse time complexity than the lower, but I'm having problems calculating the time complexity of these two algorithms. [input sample] 5 3 5 4 3 2 1 2 3 3 4 2 4 [output sample] 7 5 9 Program 1: #include <stdio.h> FILE *in=fopen("input.txt","r"); FILE *out=fopen("output.txt","w"); int n,q,a,b,sum; int data[1000]; int main() int i,j; fscanf(in,"%d%d",&n,&q); for(i=1;i<=n;i++) fscanf(in,"%d",&data[i]); for i=0;i<q;i++) { fscanf(in,"%d%d",&a,&b); sum=0; for(j=a;j<=b;j++) sum+=data[j]; fprintf(out,"%d\n",sum); } return 0; } Program 2: #include <stdio.h> FILE *in=fopen("input.txt","r"); FILE *out=fopen("output.txt","w"); int n,q,a,b; int data[1000]; int sum[1000]; int main() { int i,j; fscanf(in,"%d%d",&n,&q); for(i=1;i<=n;i++) fscanf(in,"%d",&data[i]); for(i=1;i<=n;i++) sum[i]=sum[i-1]+data[i]; for(i=0;i<q;i++) { fscanf(in,"%d%d",&a,&b); fprintf(out,"%d\n",sum[b]-sum[a-1]); } return 0; } The programs below gets n integers from 1 to m and sorts them. Again, I cannot calculate the time complexity. [input sample] 5 5 2 1 3 4 5 [output sample] 1 2 3 4 5 Program: #include <stdio.h> FILE *in=fopen("input.txt","r") FILE *out=fopen("output.txt","w") int n,m; int data[1000]; int count[1000]; int main() { int i,j; fscanf(in,"%d%d",&n,&m); for(i=0;i<n;i++) { fscanf(in,"%d",&data[i]); count[data[i]]++ } for(i=1;i<=m;i++) { for(j=0;j<count[i];j++) fprintf(out,"%d ",i); } return 0; } It's ironic(or not) that I cannot calculate the time complexity of my own algorithms, but I have passions to learn, so please programming gurus, help me!

  • Jruby Gems-in-a-jar issue

    - by antonio
    Hi all, I am trying to write some code in ruby (using jruby) to be compiled to java bytecode with jrubyc and deployed to a remote machine where it will be run on the JVM (no ruby available there). Everything works fine as long as I am happy to stick with the standard jruby library. As explained on the jruby website, I simply copy the jruby-complete.jar library to the remote machine and include it in the classpath at runtime. I fire my compiled script and it works: cool! The problems start when I need some other libraries (typically rubygems) to run my script. I am aware of cool stuff like rawr, -which I successfully tested- to put together all you need in a single package. However that is not the solution I am looking for: I will have many small scripts to run independently and I don't want each of them to grow to at least 10 MB just because I insanely include the jruby-complete.jar in each of them. What I would like is to compile a .jar for each of the libraries that I will need to use, put all of them in a common folder on the remote machine and include them at runtime in the classpath when I run my compiled jruby scripts on the JVM. This said, I tried to follow the instructions here: http://blog.nicksieger.com/articles/2009/01/10/jruby-1-1-6-gems-in-a-jar I tried exactly the example shown there, with the "chronic" gem. Going step by step: Install the gem locally: java -jar jruby-complete-1.1.6.jar -S gem install -i ./chronic chronic --no-rdoc --no-ri Package it into a jar: jar cf chronic.jar -C chronic . Write a two lines test script, saving it as testt.rb: require 'chronic' Chronic.parse('tomorrow') Compile with: jrubyc testt.rb Run the resulting java class testt.class with the following (having both jruby-complete.jar and chronic.jar in the same folder as the java class): java -cp .:/jruby-complete.jar:./chronic.jar testt I get the following error: Exception in thread "main" file:/Users/ave2/NetBeansProjects/jrubywatir/lib/jruby-complete.jar!/METAINF/jruby.home/lib/ruby/site_ruby/shared/builtin/core_ext/symbol.rb:1:in `const_missing': uninitialized constant Chronic (NameError) from testt.rb:2 ...internal jruby stack elided... from Module.const_missing(testt.rb:2) from (unknown).(unknown)(:1) I really don't understand what I am doing wrong, and I am totally stuck on this. I am a noob in Ruby, much more used to Python: don't miss a chance to convert an infidel! :-) Thanks.

  • PCRE multi line matche problem

    - by Simone Margaritelli
    Hi guys, i have this C++ program (actually it's just a snippet) : #include <iostream> #include <pcre.h> #include <string> using namespace std; int main(){ string pattern = "<a\\s+href\\s*=\\s*\"([^\"]+)\"", html = "<html>\n" "<body>\n" "<a href=\"example_link_1\"/>\n" "<a href=\"example_link_2\"/>\n" "<a href=\"example_link_3\"/>\n" "</body>\n" "</html>"; int i, ccount, rc, *offsets, eoffset; const char *error; pcre *compiled; compiled = pcre_compile( pattern.c_str(), PCRE_CASELESS | PCRE_MULTILINE, &error, &eoffset, 0 ); if( !compiled ){ cerr << "Error compiling the regexp!!" << endl; return 0; } rc = pcre_fullinfo( compiled, 0, PCRE_INFO_CAPTURECOUNT, &ccount ); offsets = new int[ 3 * (ccount + 1) ]; rc = pcre_exec( compiled, 0, html.c_str(), html.length(), 0, 0, offsets, 3 * (ccount + 1) ); if( rc >= 0 ){ for( i = 1; i < rc; ++i ){ cout << "Match : " << html.substr( offsets[2*i], offsets[2*i+1] - offsets[2*i] ) << endl; } } else{ cout << "Sorry, no matches!" << endl; } delete [] offsets; return 0; } As you can see, i'm trying to match html links inside a buffer with the given regular expression (the \\s is \s escaped for C/C++ strings). But, even if in the buffer there are 3 links and the regexp is compiled with the PCRE_CASELESS and PCRE_MULTILINE flags, i match only one element : Match : example_link_1 Note: I start the loop fro index 1 because the pcre library returns the string that matched (not the match itself) as the first element, and the matches follows. What's wrong with this code? The regexp itself i think it's correct (tried in PHP for instance).

  • How to set locale default_url_options for functional tests (Rails)

    - by insane.dreamer
    In my application_controller, I have the following set to include the locale with all paths generated by url_for: def default_url_options(options={}) { :locale => I18n.locale } end My resource routes then have a :path_prefix = "/:locale" Works fine on the site. But when it comes to my functional tests, the :locale is not passed with the generated urls, and therefore they all fail. I can get around it by adding the locale to the url in my tests, like so: get :new, :locale => 'en' But I don't want to have to manually add the locale to every functional test. I tried adding the default_url_options def above to test_helper, but it seems to have no effect. Is there any way I can change the default_url_options to include the locale for all my tests? Thanks.

  • multiple pivot table consolidation to another pivot table

    - by phill
    I have to SQL Server views being drawn to 2 seperate worksheets as pivot tables in an excel 2007 file. the results on worksheet1 include example data: - company_name, tickets, month, year company1, 3, 1,2009 company2, 4, 1,2009 company3, 5, 1,2009 company3, 2, 2,2009 results from worksheet2 include example data: company_name, month, year , fee company1, 1 , 2009 , 2.00 company2, 1 , 2009 , 3.00 company3, 1 , 2009 , 4.00 company3, 2 , 2009 , 2.00 I would like the results of one worksheet to be reflected onto the pivot table of another with their corresponding companies. for example in this case: - company_name, tickets, month, year, fee company1, 3, 1,2009 , 2 company2, 4, 1,2009 , 3 company3, 5, 1,2009 , 4 company3, 2, 2,2009 , 2 Is there a way to do this without vba? thanks in advance

  • Qt QNetworkAccessManager does not emit signals

    - by Emilio
    The function CheckSite() is called with an url like http://site.com, it initializes a QNetworkAccessManager object and connect() slots and signals. The manger-get() call seems work (it generates http traffic) but does not call the slot replyFinished() at the request end. What's wrong with this code? #include <QtCore> #include <QtNetwork> class ClientHandler : public QObject { Q_OBJECT QNetworkAccessManager *manager; private slots: void replyFinished(QNetworkReply *); public: void CheckSite(QString url); }; void ClientHandler::replyFinished(QNetworkReply *reply) { qDebug() << "DONE"; } void ClientHandler::CheckSite(QString url) { QUrl qrl(url); manager = new QNetworkAccessManager(this); connect(manager, SIGNAL(finished(QNetworkReply*)), this, SLOT(replyFinished(QNetworkReply*))); manager->get(QNetworkRequest(qrl)); }

  • C command line password

    - by Jack Jacobsen
    So I'm trying to create a C program where you must input the password on the command line, like ./login password1 And if the password is password1, it'll say something. If not, it prints another message. This is the code I have now: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { if (argc < 2) { printf("usage: %s <password>\n", argv[0]); } char pass = "password"; if (argc == pass) { printf("Right\n"); } else { printf("Wrong\n"); } } But it wont work.

  • getting "implicit declaration of function 'fcloseall' is invalid in C99" when compiling to gnu99

    - by Emanuel Ey
    Consider the following C code: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> void fatal(const char* message){ /* Prints a message and terminates the program. Closes all open i/o streams before exiting. */ printf("%s\n", message); fcloseall(); exit(EXIT_FAILURE); } I'm using clang 2.8 to compile: clang -Wall -std=gnu99 -o <executable> <source.c> And get: implicit declaration of function 'fcloseall' is invalid in C99 Which is true, but i'm explicitly compiling to gnu99 [which should support fcloseall()], and not to c99. Although the code runs, I don like the have unresolved warnings when compiling. How can i solve this?

  • Return pointer to nested inner class from generic outer class

    - by helixed
    I'm new to C++, so bear with me. I have a generic class called A. A has a nested class called B. A contains a method called getB(), which is supposed to return a new instance of B. However, I can't get my code to compile. Here's what it looks like:#include A.h template <class E> class A { public: class B { public: int data; }; B * getB(); }; A.cpp #include "A.h" template <class E> A<E>::B * A::getB() { return new B(); } When I try to compile this, I get the following error: error: expected constructor, destructor, or type conversion before '*' token Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, helixed

  • Simple OpenCV problem.

    - by iamcreasy
    Why I try to run the following OpenCV program, it shows the following error : ERROR: test_1.exe - Application Error The application failed to initialize properly (0x80000003). Click on OK to terminate the application. CODE: #include "cv.h" #include "highgui.h" int main() { IplImage *img = cvLoadImage("C:\\face.bmp"); cvSetImageROI(img, cvRect(100,100, 100, 100)); cvAddS(img, cvScalar(50), img); cvResetImageROI(img); cvShowImage("Test", img); cvWaitKey(0); return 0; } When i press F5(im using vs2008express), the program encounters a break point...i have attached a picture...dont know, whether, it will help or not. Error Snapshot Link It is not that, only this program is producing this error, but also any kind of image manipulation funciton containing (OpenCV)program is resulting in this sitution. Such as : cvSmooth one last thing, it there any dedicated OpenCV forum or sth like that?

  • Basic OpenGL ES2 (iPhone Simulator) question...

    - by David
    Hi! I'm trying to modify the fragment shader which is part of the standard iPhone/XCode OpenGL ES template. I want to make it so that every other row of pixels is transparent. I have this code so far: varying lowp vec4 colorVarying; void main() { gl_FragColor = vec4(colorVarying.x, colorVarying.y, colorVarying.z, floor(mod(gl_FragCoord.y, 2.0))); } But when I compile and run I still get the same square moving up and down with no other effects. What am I doing wrong here? I'm a complete n00b at Glsl - I'm trying to teach myself the very basics. (starting with this tutorial - http://www.mobileorchard.com/getting-started-with-opengl-es-20-on-the-iphone-3gs/) Please help! Thanks! David :)

  • Adding Functions to an Implementation of Vector

    - by Meursault
    I have this implementation of vector that I've been working on for a few days using examples from a textbook: #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <cassert> #include <algorithm> #include <cstring> // Vector.h using namespace std; template <class T> class Vector { public: typedef T * iterator; Vector(); Vector(unsigned int size); Vector(unsigned int size, const T & initial); Vector(const Vector<T> & v); // copy constructor ~Vector(); unsigned int capacity() const; // return capacity of vector (in elements) unsigned int size() const; // return the number of elements in the vector bool empty() const; iterator begin(); // return an iterator pointing to the first element iterator end(); // return an iterator pointing to one past the last element T & front(); // return a reference to the first element T & back(); // return a reference to the last element void push_back(const T & value); // add a new element void pop_back(); // remove the last element void reserve(unsigned int capacity); // adjust capacity void resize(unsigned int size); // adjust size void erase(unsigned int size); // deletes an element from the vector T & operator[](unsigned int index); // return reference to numbered element Vector<T> & operator=(const Vector<T> &); private: unsigned int my_size; unsigned int my_capacity; T * buffer; }; template<class T>// Vector<T>::Vector() { my_capacity = 0; my_size = 0; buffer = 0; } template<class T> Vector<T>::Vector(const Vector<T> & v) { my_size = v.my_size; my_capacity = v.my_capacity; buffer = new T[my_size]; for (int i = 0; i < my_size; i++) buffer[i] = v.buffer[i]; } template<class T>// Vector<T>::Vector(unsigned int size) { my_capacity = size; my_size = size; buffer = new T[size]; } template<class T>// Vector<T>::Vector(unsigned int size, const T & initial) { my_size = size; //added = size my_capacity = size; buffer = new T [size]; for (int i = 0; i < size; i++) buffer[i] = initial; } template<class T>// Vector<T> & Vector<T>::operator = (const Vector<T> & v) { delete[ ] buffer; my_size = v.my_size; my_capacity = v.my_capacity; buffer = new T [my_size]; for (int i = 0; i < my_size; i++) buffer[i] = v.buffer[i]; return *this; } template<class T>// typename Vector<T>::iterator Vector<T>::begin() { return buffer; } template<class T>// typename Vector<T>::iterator Vector<T>::end() { return buffer + size(); } template<class T>// T& Vector<T>::Vector<T>::front() { return buffer[0]; } template<class T>// T& Vector<T>::Vector<T>::back() { return buffer[size - 1]; } template<class T> void Vector<T>::push_back(const T & v) { if (my_size >= my_capacity) reserve(my_capacity +5); buffer [my_size++] = v; } template<class T>// void Vector<T>::pop_back() { my_size--; } template<class T>// void Vector<T>::reserve(unsigned int capacity) { if(buffer == 0) { my_size = 0; my_capacity = 0; } if (capacity <= my_capacity) return; T * new_buffer = new T [capacity]; assert(new_buffer); copy (buffer, buffer + my_size, new_buffer); my_capacity = capacity; delete[] buffer; buffer = new_buffer; } template<class T>// unsigned int Vector<T>::size()const { return my_size; } template<class T>// void Vector<T>::resize(unsigned int size) { reserve(size); my_size = size; } template<class T>// T& Vector<T>::operator[](unsigned int index) { return buffer[index]; } template<class T>// unsigned int Vector<T>::capacity()const { return my_capacity; } template<class T>// Vector<T>::~Vector() { delete[]buffer; } template<class T> void Vector<T>::erase(unsigned int size) { } int main() { Vector<int> v; v.reserve(2); assert(v.capacity() == 2); Vector<string> v1(2); assert(v1.capacity() == 2); assert(v1.size() == 2); assert(v1[0] == ""); assert(v1[1] == ""); v1[0] = "hi"; assert(v1[0] == "hi"); Vector<int> v2(2, 7); assert(v2[1] == 7); Vector<int> v10(v2); assert(v10[1] == 7); Vector<string> v3(2, "hello"); assert(v3.size() == 2); assert(v3.capacity() == 2); assert(v3[0] == "hello"); assert(v3[1] == "hello"); v3.resize(1); assert(v3.size() == 1); assert(v3[0] == "hello"); Vector<string> v4 = v3; assert(v4.size() == 1); assert(v4[0] == v3[0]); v3[0] = "test"; assert(v4[0] != v3[0]); assert(v4[0] == "hello"); v3.pop_back(); assert(v3.size() == 0); Vector<int> v5(7, 9); Vector<int>::iterator it = v5.begin(); while (it != v5.end()) { assert(*it == 9); ++it; } Vector<int> v6; v6.push_back(100); assert(v6.size() == 1); assert(v6[0] == 100); v6.push_back(101); assert(v6.size() == 2); assert(v6[0] == 100); v6.push_back(101); cout << "SUCCESS\n"; } So far it works pretty well, but I want to add a couple of functions to it that I can't find examples for, a SWAP function that would look at two elements of the vector and switch their values and and an ERASE function that would delete a specific value or range of values in the vector. How should I begin implementing the two extra functions?
