• performance problem looping through table rows

  Hi, I am using jquery to loop through table rows and save the data. If the table has 200 rows it is performing slow. I am getting the javascript message "Stop Running this script" in IE when I call this method. Following is the code I am using to loop through table rows. Is this means that nhibernate doesnt escape special chars? if so how can i tell it to escape special chars globally?

  I need to create a feature for a website that will allow a user to enter their email in order to receive a free promotion (which will be emailed immediately) and be added to an announcement list. I haven't done any web programming and am wondering where I should start? Should I just create a database and everytime an email is entered, add the email to the database, then when I want to send out an announcement just write a script that will send an email to every address? I found flash has a security policy and I handled the policy-file-request in my server code. But seems it doesn't work, because the code jumped out at "socket.Receive(b)" after connection. I've tried sending message on client in the connection handler, in that case the server can receive correct message. But the auto-generated "policy-file-request" can never be received, and the client can get no data sending from server. • Problem deploying Rails with Passenger to Mac OS X Leopard Server

  I'm spinning my wheels... Apache is working and serving static html, png, etc. normally. Trying to get Passenger to serve a rails app out of www.mydomain.com/rails/ as it stands when i try to hit my app: www.mydomain.com/rails/myapp/railsclassname I get only an Apache 403 Errors. Nothing in myapp's Production Log. Apache2 access.log: "GET /rails/ HTTP/1.1" 403 1085 Apache2 error.log: [Fri Jun 11 22:44:01 2010] [error] [client 10.0.1.41] File does not exist: /Library/WebServer/wwwroot/rails/railsclassname i've even tried www.mydomain.com/myapp/classname Passenger, obviously, isn't routing requests made into my sub-folder rails/ to my rails app. not sure where i've screwed up. the most obvious thing is "Passenger doesn't seem to be running"... instructions I've followed just say to sudo apachectl graceful, which i've done (as well as stopped/started). new to this so go easy on me! Here's some info that might be helpful. happy to provide more as needed...   Hi I have a local html file which I'm trying to view using QTWebKit, there are some images in the file which are of type ".ico" which seems that QTWebKit is not able to render them as it gives a question mark icon instead. I tried opening the html file in firefox and its working fine and all images gets rendered. My question is, does QTWebKit support ico images, and if it does... what should I do to enable webkit to render ico images? Regards

• Very unusual and weird problem with gVim 7.2

  After installing gVim and running gvim from the run window, if I were to type :cd followed by a tab, I will get \AppData, \Application Data, etc. Which basically means I'm at my $HOME directory (C:\Users\Fabian). The weird thing is I do not have a \Application Data folder there. But if I were to run gvim.exe from its installation folder, and I type :cd followed by tab, I would get \autoload, \colors, etc. which means I'm at the installation folder. And if I were to pin gvim.exe on to taskbar, upon launch and typing :cd then tab, I will get \Dictionaries and upon hitting tab again I get a beep. I think for the last scenario, I'm at some Adobe folder. Anybody knows how to fix this weird issue? I'd like to pin it to taskbar and upon launch, start in the $HOME directory (C:\Users\Fabian).

  I'm trying a new approach to int 0x13 (just to learn more about the way the system works): using stack to create a DAP.. Assuming that DL contains the disk number, AX contains the address of the bootable entry in PT, DS is updated to the right segment and the stack is correctly set, this is the code: push DWORD 0x00000000 add ax, 0x0008 mov si, ax push DWORD [ds:(si)] push DWORD 0x00007c00 push WORD 0x0001 push WORD 0x0010 push ss pop ds mov si, sp mov sp, bp mov ah, 0x42 int 0x13 As you can see: I push the dap structure onto the stack, update DS:SI in order to point to it, DL is already set, then set AX to 0x42 and call int 0x13 the result is error 0x01 in AH and obviously CF set. No sectors are transferred. I checked the stack trace endlessly and it is ok, the partition table is ok too.. I cannot figure out what I'm missing... • Strange TFS Source Repository Problem

  We have a web project we are working on using TFS and we are kind of new to it (TFS). One of my teammates is unable to see a particular page (three associated files) in the IDE. To the rest of us, it looks as though it is checked out to her. When she ran the unlock command through the console, it returned that the files for the page were not locked. Yet we are unable to check it out due to her apparently having a lock. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

• problem getting info from a cookie with javascript

  I am having an issue with my cookies and I can't figure it out. Basically I have it set up so it checks for the cookie to see if the user is logged in, and then displays either a welcome message or a login link. It works - except that instead of returning the persons name in the welcome message it just is blank where the name should be.
