  • Navbar Menu Trouble shoot

    So I wanted to create the fixed nav bar on top of the page. Instead of creating nav bar with ordered list, I used the following approach: <header> <div class="nav"> <img src="images/logo_ab.png" alt="AurinBioTech Logo"/> <a href="index.html">Home</a> <a href="#">About</a> <a href="#">Team</a> <a href="#">Science</a> <a href="#">Need</a> <a href="#">Pipeline</a> <a href="#">Contact</a> </div> </header> CSS: header .nav { margin-top:100px; width:100%; height:10%; text-align:center; padding-top:2%; margin:0 auto; position:fixed; top:0; } header .nav a { font-size: 2em; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; color:rgb(1, 1, 1); text-decoration: none; font-family: 'Bebas'; } header .nav a:hover { color:white; background-color: #404040; border-radius:5px; padding:0 auto; } header .nav a:active{ background-color: #404040; border-radius:5px; text-decoration:overline; } header .nav img { width:260px; height:65px; padding-right:4em; } The reason I used this approach is because I wanted to use logo image next to the nav bar so it would align properly in the same line. Now the problem is that I need to add sub-menus under Science and Pipeline heading. Since I didn't use UL or LI, how can I add sub-menus under those heading. OR, can you tell me any other way to create a NAV bar that shows the logo as well. so it would be LOGO and MENUS on the same line. Great thanks in advance.

    In asp.net global.asax, where should i write code to assign role in httpcontext.user? What i have read in site is that it should be part of "Application_onPostauthentication" event of global.asax but i am not getting that if i write there then it is execute for each request of user. I think this should fetch one for one authentication at session. I don't know even why microsoft also suggest to write code there? Please if anybody know the fact make me clear?

I seem to remember reading some hack to get it look like the native widget but searching for it know i can't seem to find it again i came across posts that suggest using java.awt.FileChooser but that class does not seem to be in the distribution.     Do you know of a tutorial that demonstrates Public Private Key encryption(PPKE) in C++ or C? I am trying to learn how it works and eventually use Crypto++ to create my own encryptions using public private keys. Maybe theres a Crypto++ PPKE tutorial? Maybe someone can explain the relationship(if any) between the public and private keys? Could anyone suggest some very simple public and private key values I could use(like 'char*32','char/32') to create my simple PPKE program to understand the concept?

    I have a navbar fixed to the bottom and I have page that has a title and a giant svg (created by d3.js). I would like the svg to take up the entire screen (whatever is left over), but it always seems to have some part appear behind the bottom nav bar. I've tried: 1) using viewBox to auto-resize, setting the parent div and the svg to be block elements 2) adding padding-bottom to the body element But the svg still appears behind the navbar on wide screen monitors.

    Example: I want to do this: METHODNAME(5) { // do something } which results in: - (void)animationStep5 { // do something } Is there any way to do this? Basically, what I need is a way to generate a real source code string before the program is compiled, so the compiler does see - (void)animationStep5... Or maybe there's something different than a macro, which can help here to auto-generate method names (not at run-time)?
