    Hello, I have a code for loading data: GFileInputStream* ins; GFile* gf = g_file_new_for_path(file_path); ins = g_file_read(gf, NULL, NULL); mw->pix = gdk_pixbuf_new_from_stream(G_INPUT_STREAM(ins), NULL, NULL); gtk_image_view_set_pixbuf (GTK_IMAGE_VIEW (mw->view), mw->pix, TRUE); g_input_stream_close(G_INPUT_STREAM(ins), NULL, NULL); When i try to run app i see error: symbol lookup error: undefined symbol: gdk_pixbuf_new_from_stream What's wrong?     Hello everyone, I'm implementing a home screen app widget. I was wondering which is better to store/read data: SharedPreferences or a SQLite database? The data is accessed from an AppWidgetProvider (similar to a BroadcastReceiver), and any given instance of the widget displays different data based on appWidgetId.     hello i need a popup window to appear to the user but without parent widow ! but this is impossible so i think that I may have to make the popup close the parent apter it appear, but how ? i tried this in the popup: <BODY align="center" valign="center" onload="javascript:window.opener='x';window.close();"> but it closed the popup window itself ! any idea to make the popup close its parent ?

    Hello I have jsp page with text field and button. Also i have jar of another project. When i click on the button the MAIN.class of the jar is called and program is running in independent window(JFrame). After user is finished with the program and exits, I need to get the String of program that is generated on exit and paste it into the textbox (The String is HTML code) Is anyone else having this problem and has a solution?     Hello guys, For a school project, we'll have to implement a ranking system. However, we figured that a dumb rank average would suck: something that one user ranked 5 stars would have a better average that something 188 users ranked 4 stars, and that's just stupid. So I'm wondering if any of you have an example algorithm of "smart" ranking. It only needs to take in account the rankings given and the number of rankings. Thanks!

  • iPhone - Tweak the UINavigationController to show a UINavigationBar made into IB

    Hello, I've build a UINavigationBar into Interface Builder, and I have a NavigationController into my app. I'd like to make the one use the other to work. Just to manage the bar into IB and let the controller use it as its view (and adding by itself the Back button if needed), or in another way to do the same thing, let the NavBar use the navcontroller to adjust its display. Do you see a way to do this ? If not, I really don't see the use of the NavigationBar proposed into IB.
