• `sbt package` results in huge war file - how to make it smaller?

  Is there a more efficient way than using numpy.asarray() to generate an array from output in the form of a list? This appears to be copying everything in memory, which doesn't seem like it would be that efficient with very large arrays. • Is it possible to access a remote SWF without needing to download it?

  We have a very large SWF hosted in a website which is just a repository of hundreds of movies/symbols. We load this SWF at the beginning with the Loader class but then the client will access a very few of them at that moment. Is it possible to tell the loader to download symbols only when they're needed? (as with applicationDomain.getDefinition(...)). Thanks in advance.

  I'm created a very large map with many poly areas (over 20 coordinates each) for regions within the map. However, you can't add css to the AREA tag as I was told it's not a visible element. What I want to do is when the user hovers over an area on the map, I want it to be "highlighted" by applying a 1px border to the specific AREA element. Is there a way of doing this? No, I'm not going to resort using rectangles.

I was about to write a script to step through(most likely on a unix host kicked off via cron); but there should be a simpler method to export the tables directly (SQLite not an option in the included DTS Import/Export wizard) What would the most efficient method of dumping the SQL Server tables to SQLite via batch be?

It is possible to only allow the end user to enter the start date and then the end date be auto populated/derived from this field (for example they enter the 1st of a month and this automatically change the end date to the last of a month.)

• Is it possible to unpage all memory in Windows?

  I have plenty of RAM, however, after starting and finishing a large number of processes, it seems that most of the applications' virtual memory has been paged to disk, and switching to any of the older processes requires a very long time to load the memory back into RAM. Is there a way, either via Windows API or via kernel call, to get Windows to unpage all (or as much as possible) memory? Maybe by stepping through the list of running processes and get the memory manager to unpage each process's memory?

ElectricityReading.sum(:electricity_value, :group => "electricity_timestamp", :having => ["electricity_timestamp = '2010-02-14 23:30:00'"]) My data sets are extremely large, 100k upwards so I was wondering if its possible to use the find_each to batch this to help with memory overhead. I can write the batching manually use limit and offset I guess but I'd like to avoid that if the code already exists.

  We are running our applications on .NET 3.5 and are planning on either updating to .NET 4.0 or switching entirely to the Java platform, J2EE v6, as we've heard from some clients that "it's better."   Hi, I'm trying to make a jquery tooltip that appears when a user mouses over a link. In my case the link is using display:block style so that it covers a large area. It works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox but in Internet Explorer it doesn't work at all. The tooltip doesn't show, the browsers own tooltip shows etc...
