  I need to read and write data from an Excel spreadsheet. Is there a method to finding out how many rows/columns a certain worksheet has using ExcelPackage? I have the following code: FileInfo newFile = new FileInfo(@"C:\example.xlsx"); using (ExcelPackage xlPackage = new ExcelPackage(newFile)) { ExcelWorksheet worksheet = xlPackage.Workbook.Worksheets[1]; } I need to iterate through each cell this worksheet has and spit it into a fairly big table, but I don't want to print out blank cells or get an exception. Is there a method resembling worksheet.rowNum or colNum?

  In my AppDelegate I create an NSFetchedResultsController with sectionNameKeyPath set to @"group". In viewWillAppear in my TableViewController I performFetch, then call a method called findGroups. findGroups does some complicated analysis of the entire dataset to identify groups, then sets the "group" transient property on each object to the correct string value. I can see with NSLog that these are all set correctly and in coherent groups. But, tinker as I may, my cells are shown in a single section with the title of the first group. Any ideas?

  Hello, I have a inputStream of a docx file and I need to get hold of the document.xml which lies inside the docx. I am using ZipInputStream to read my stream and my code is something like ZipInputStream docXFile = new ZipInputStream(fileName); ZipEntry zipEntry; while ((zipEntry = docXFile.getNextEntry()) != null) { if(zipEntry.getName().equals("word/document.xml")) { System.out.println(" --> zip Entry is "+zipEntry.getName()); } } As you can see The output for zipEntry.getName comes as "word/document.xml" at some point. I need to pass this document.xml as a stream and unlike the ZipFile method where you can easily pass this on calling .getInputStream, I am wondering how can I do this docXFile? • Why is my CalendarExtender getting overlapped when rendered?

  I'm working on a .NET web application and I'm using a CalendarExtender control within it to have the user specify a date. For some reason, when I click the icon to display the calendar, the background seems to be transparent, shown below: I'm using the extender on other pages and do not run into this issue. I'm not sure if it is worth mentioning, but the calendar is nested within a panel that has a rounded corner extender attached to it, as well as the panel below it (where the "From" is overlapping). Within that panel, I do have a div layout setup to create two columns. EDIT: The other thing to note here is that the section that has the name and "placeholders" for nickname are all ASP.NET label controls, if that matters.

• Getting into a technology which requires experience when you have no experience

  It seems that Sharepoint is a technology which is very hard to get into. All the jobs in this tech require experience in working with it (Eg 2 years development experience in MOSS). If I wanted to get into this - but had no job that used the tech, how can I get experience in it to get an experienced job? Jobs state you need "2 years professional experience in MOSS 2007" but then if you have never done it, you won't get the job. The only possible way is you will be doing this at home and not in a team, but if you work in the mean time, that will negate this (it's not like teamworking is tech specific). Many people think if you decide to make a project at home you're just going to play about aimlessly rather than work to specs (where as in my current situation it's vice versa) but if you're dedicated, like me, you would write them - just not with the same presentation. Would employers treat experience at home as professional experience? Biztalk is another prime example of this. Thanks

  I am using Phing's dbdeploy task to manage my database schema. This is working fine, as long as there is no errors in the queries of my delta files. However, if there is an error, dbdeploy will just run the delta files up to the query with the error and then abort. This causes me some frustration, because I have to manually rollback the entry in the changelog table then. If I don't, dbdeploy will assume the migration was successful on a subsequent try. So the question is, is there any way to get dbdeploy use transactions or can you suggest any other way to have phing rollback automatically when an error occurs? Note: I'm not that proficient with Phing, so if this involves writing a custom task, any example code or a url with further information is highly appreciated. Thanks

  I am writing a script in Powershell to get the update information from each computer and correlate the information with another System which identifies updates by CVE ID. I have discovered that there is a "CVEIDs" property for an update in WSUS, which is documented in MSDN, but I have no idea how to access the property. Retrieving the CVE ID from WSUS is the key to this script, so I am hoping someone out there can help!   I am having trouble retrieving float/real values out of PostgreSQL. For example, I would like to store: 123456789123456, the retrieve that exact same number with a select statement. table tbl (num real) insert into tbl(num) values('123456789123456'); As it is now, if I "select num from tbl" the result is "1.23457e+14" If I run "select CAST(num AS numeric) as num from tbl" the result is 123457000000000 If I run "select CAST(num AS float) as num from tbl" the result is 123456788103168 (where did this number come from) How on earth can I select the value and get "123456789123456" as the result?   Hi, does anyone know how i can get the id of any element when the mouse is over ? I want to show a div (box) over the elements (tags) the mouse is over. I cannot modify the tags to include a mousover event. I want a global callback or something like that to have the id of the tag which is under the mouse pointer. Thanks !

  I'm working at the aspx page, and the following code is inserted in a Repeater control: <%# ((System.Collections.Generic.List<double>)DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "BookPrices")).Max() %> Brings up the following error: 'System.Collections.Generic.List<double>' does not contain a definition for 'Max' List does have an method of Max(), so I'm possibly messing up my code somehow. What is my problem? BookPrices is a list<double> object, which I'd like to print it's maximum value. P.S. You guys are great! I didn't find answers for many of my questions on the web.   Anyone know of a simple way of converting the RGBint value returned from <BufferedImage> getRGB(i,j) into a greyscale value? I was going to simply average the RGB values by breaking them up using this; int alpha = (pixel >> 24) & 0xff; int red = (pixel >> 16) & 0xff; int green = (pixel >> 8) & 0xff; int blue = (pixel) & 0xff; and then average red,green,blue. But i feel like for such a simple operation I must be missing something...
