    In ASP.Net is there a way to dynamically set a control adapter? The standard way to apply a contol adapter is via the ".browser" files. However, I have a situation where I would like to use the control adapter in some circumstances, but not in others - and i can not find a way to achieve this. Any help appreciated.

I ask because it seems that the question was resolved for the poster, but he never shared with us how he actually popped up the menu :)

If i have for instance productId = 54, is there any way to search through all GridView item and set as selected the one who has DataKEy[0] = 54?     What is the "Rails-way" or the "Ruby-way" of doing the following: In my controller, I'm creating and instance of an Options class. It will be initialized with information in the params hash if the params hash exists. Otherwise, it will check the sessions hash for the information. Finally, it will initialize with defaults if neither params nor session has the data it needs. Here is how I'm doing it now (it works fine, but it seems a little ugly): if params[:cust_options] @options = CustomOptions.new( params[:cust_options] ) else if session[:cust_options @options = CustomOptions.new( session[:cust_options] ) else @options = CustomOptions.new end end session[:cust_options] = @options.to_hash Like I said, everything is working fine, I'm just looking for a more idiomatically Ruby way of writing this block of code.

    I've been developing an iOS game for iPhone. My game saves the progress as a couple of .plist documents in the device. I have come to realize that when I install a game in my iPhone, this same game is installed in my iPad. And then it struck me: how would I manage save files? I mean, I'd like the player to be able to continue playing from where they left no matter what device are they using... without using remote servers. What have you done to address this issue?

    Sorry for the double post, I will update this question if I can't get things to work :) I am trying to compare two files. I will list the two file content: File 1 File 2 "d.complex.1" "d.complex.1" 1 4 5 5 48 47 65 21 d.complex.10 d.complex.10 46 6 21 46 109 121 192 192 TI am trying to compare the contents of the two file but not in a trivial way. I will explain what I want with an example. If you observe the file content I have typed above, the d.complex.1 of file_1 has "5" similar to d.complex.1 in file_2; the same d.complex.1 in file_1 has nothing similar to d.complex.10 in file_2. What I am trying to do is just to print out those d.complex. which has nothing in similar with the other d.complex. Consider the d.complex. as a heading if you want. But all I am trying is compare the numbers below each d.complex. and if nothing matches, I want that particular d.complex. from both files to be printed. If even one number is present in both d.complex. of both files, I want it to be rejected. My Code: The method I chose to achieve this was to use sets and then do a difference.     I have a bit array implementation where the 0th index is the MSB of the first byte in an array, the 8th index is the MSB of the second byte, etc... What's a fast way to find the first bit that is set in this bit array? All the related solutions I have looked up find the first least significant bit, but I need the first most significant one. So, given 0x00A1, I want 9.

I found something that looks like it should work using jQuery.. $("#myDiv a").attr('target', '_top'); but I dont want to use a library for this and I imagine a couple of lines of javaScript would take care of it...
