    I my application i have added button in NavigationBar like this.. UIBarButtonItem *more=[[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"search-25by25.png"] style:UIBarButtonItemStylePlain target:self action:@selector(SelectMission:)]; self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem = more; When i am clicking on button application get's shutdown... If i am doing same thing with normal button it's working fine can any one help me why it's behaving like this?

  • iPhone using Camera causes array to be unloaded

    I have an array of images that I'm displaying in a UITableView. When choosing images from the library using the UIImagePicker, everything is totally fine and I can add a lot of images to the array. As soon as I add an image from the camera using the Picker I receive a memory warning and my array of images is ditched. Coming back from the camera picker, the table view is empty. The UIImagePicker when using the camera as the source generates a memory warning before I have a chance to resize the image.

  • iPhone OS 3.2 (iPad) Modal View question

    I am presenting a UIViewController as a modal viewcontroller with modalPresentationStyle = UIModalPresentationFormSheet. I have few UITextFields on its view. My issue is that when I try to dismiss the keyboard ([textfieldname resignFirstResponder]), it doesn't do anything. However when I change the modalPresentationStyle to UIModalPresentationPageSheet, it works. This seems to be a bug. Has any one faced similar problems and found a work around? Could I be doing anything dumb and silly?

  • Parse xml file with same tag multiple times iphone sdk

    Hi all, In my application, I have a tag multiple times. I'm using xml parser. I'm taking a corresponding element with similar name as the one in xml file in my class. So in case of: <photo>abc</photo> <photo>def</photo> What I get in photo element of my class is the second element i.e def, as the first one gets overwritten as there's only one photo element in my class. My question is am I wrong in taking similar elements in class as in case of xml? Is there any better method or a better parser? Or I'm on right path and have to do this manually by setting some flags etc? Thanx in advance.

    So, I am able to create an array that populates the fields of the Table, but am having troubles creating the subtext that appears below the main fields. I currently have: - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; listOfForms = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init]; [listOfForms addObject:@"First Form"]; } and then: NSString *cellValue = [listOfDAForms objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; cell.textLabel.text = cellValue; in the cellForRowAtIndexPath portion. Why can't I add: listOfNames = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init]; [listOfNames addObject:@"Named Form"]; and NSString *cellSubscript = [listOfNames objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; cell.detailTextLabel.text = cellSubscript; in order to make the little subview work? What am I doing wrong?

I can use NSUserDefault to pass the string value, but I think it's a bad way to do this, is there another way to pass value?

Then i want to know that if the internet is connected then is it connected through wifi or not. Also i personally think that what i am doing in the above code is not proper as if one day google may also be down due to maintenance or some other factors. Also if you could provide me a link where i could display the name of the WIFI network then it would be really cool.     I have an existing app that needs to be compiled for different clients Each client requires their own icon and splash screen. I would also like to be able to conditionally include various features depending whether the particular client requires them or not. I have tried setting up different targets for each client, but not having much luck so far. The different resources with the same name, but a different path keep getting mixed up. Ideally I would like to be able to build an app by duplicating another client that is similar and then just make the minimum number of changes to create the app for the new client. What is the best way to set this app up?

  • iPhone/iPad fatal error in C++ code produces no output in the log

    I'm trying to move away from Objective-C to C++ for audio in my iPad programming, due to the a few reports I've heard of Objective-C selectors sometimes causing audio glitches. So I'm starting to use pure C++ files. When a fatal error happens in one of the C++ files, I get no output from the log. The app just crashes. For example, if I do this in my C++ file: env = new ADSR(); cout << "setting env to null\n"; env = NULL; env->setSustainLevel(1); cout << "called function on non-initialized env\n"; I get the following output: setting env to null After that, there's a method called on NULL, which apparently kills the app, but absolutely nothing to that effect is reported. What do I need to do to have useful information logged when there's an error in my C++ code?
