• Restore Mysql database query is not working in ASP.NET, C#

  We are using Mysql.exe to restore database by the following query string cmd ="-h" + ViewState["host"].ToString() + " " + "-u" + ViewState["user"].ToString() + " " + "-p" + ViewState["password"].ToString() + " " + ViewState["dbName"].ToString() + "<" + " " + Server.MapPath("BackupFiles/") + path; The same query is executing in MySql command prompt but we are not able to restore using the above query in VisualStudio .Net, we have tried MysqlImport.exe to do the restore but it was no use. we are newbie to MySql if any help would be appreciated.

• snipMate only working on empty buffer?

  I'm attempting to use snipMate with sql files, however it doesn't seem to work when editing an existing file. If I create a new empty buffer (no file; e.g. launch gvim from the start menu), and set the filetype to sql (:set ft=sql), it works. However, if I then try to open a sql file (e.g. :e c:\blah.sql) and edit it, snipMate no longer works. What gives!? Setup: gvim vim 7.3 Windows 7 snipMate 0.84 Also, I do in fact have filetype plugin on in my .vimrc file. edit Apparently if I open an empty buffer, set the filetype to sql, then save to file using w c:\blah.sql, I now have a sql file open AND snipMate continues to work. edit Here's a gist of my current .vimrc in case it helps: https://gist.github.com/3946877

• JQuery-tmpl Template Switching Not working.

  I'm trying to implement "more/less" functionality using the official jquery-tmpl plugin. I've looked at the examples, but I cannot seem to get the functionality to work in my own implementation. When I click on one of my "More" buttons, I seem to get an error thrown of: Uncaught TypeError: Property 'tmpl' of object #<an Object> is not a function This is my implementation here From what I can tell, the example I'm trying to replace is doing the following: Render the "Master" template On-click: Find the corresponding template object (tmplItem) to the clicked element. Pass in reference to a new template. Call the update function to re-render. Have I understood the documentation wrong? From what I can tell I'm doing the same thing as the example on the official documentation.

But after clicking on the link which suppose to loads test.html, the CSS background still shows but "cursor:pointer" and "background-image" not longer works. What should I do to make it work? • iPhone Localization: simple project not working

  Hello Im doing my first localized project and I've been fighting with it for several hours with no luck. I have to create an app that, based on the user selection, shows texts and images in different languages. I've read most of Apple's documents on the matter but I cant make a simple example work. This are my steps so far: 1) Create a new project. 2) Manually create a "en.lproj" directory in the projects folder. 3) Using TexEdit create file called "Localizable.strings" and store it in Unicode UTF-16. The file looks like this: /* Localizable.strings Multilanguage02 Created by Gonzalo Floria on 5/6/10. Copyright 2010 __MyCompanyName__. All rights reserved. */ "Hello" = "Hi"; "Goodbye" = "Bye"; 4) I drag this file to the Resources Folder on XCode and it appear with the "subdir" "en" underneath it (with the dropdown triangle to the left). If I try to see it on XCode it looks all wrong, whit lots of ? symbols, but Im guessing thats because its a UTF-16 file. Right? 5) Now on my view did load I can access this strings like this: NSString *translated; translated = NSLocalizedString(@"Hello", @"User greetings"); NSLog(@"Translated text is %@",translated); My problem is allowing the user to switch language. I have create an es.lproj with the Localizable.strings file (in Spanish), but I CANT access it. I've tried this line: [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] setObject: [NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"es", nil] forKey:@"AppleLanguages"]; But that only works the NEXT time you load the application. Is there no way to allow the user to switch languages while running the application?? Do I have to implement my own Dictionary files and forget all about NSLocalizableString family? • auth.getSession not working

  hi all, i am having troubles with calling auth.getSession in my proxy. It is being called from a iPhone connect client. When the proxy URL is invocated from the iphone, FB returns a 100 invalid parameter error to the proxy. However the 2nd attempt from iPhone yields success. Both times the proxy is doing the same code, only the auth_token is different. Doing a good search, shows that this is a problematic method. I have tried everything in code and even called in a iPhone expert to see if the problem is on the iPhone client. I have concentrated my efforts on the java api being the problem, however i believe the problem lies else where. • TCPDF Auto Page Break Not Working if Widths set

  I have a very specific 2 column layout I'm trying to set up for a client using TCPDF. AutoPageBreak works fine if you're sending text to a page with writeHTML and multiCell at the default width of the page. • richfaces keepAlive not working

  I have a mediaOutput tag which, in its createContent attribute, requires the backing bean to be in a certain state. A list of values, which is filled in an init method, must be available. I therefore added a keepAlive tag for the whole backing bean. I now indeed see the backingBean in stead of some (richfaces) proxy bean, but the filled list is null again. How to make this possible? • Place images byte into String is not working?

  I tried on Flex 3, facing issue with uploading JPG/PNG image, trace readUTFBytes would return correct bytes length but tmpFileContent is trucated, it would only appear to have upload just 3 characters of data to the server through PHP script which made image unusable. I have no issue for non-images format. What is wrong here? var tmpFileContent:String = fileRef.data.readUTFBytes(fileRef.data.length); Is String capable of handle bytes?

  I have a jQuery application which finds a specific div, and edit's its inner HTML. As it does this, it adds several divs with onclicks designed to call a function in my JS. For some strange reason, clicking on these never works if I have a function defined in my code set to activate. However, it works fine when calling "alert("Testing");". I am quite bewildered at this as I have in the past been able to make code-generated onclicks work just fine. The only thing new here is jQuery.

  Quite straight forward question. Is there a way to configure Eclipse to work with text files encoded with utf-8 with and without the BOM? So far I've used eclipse with utf-8 encoding and it works, but when I try to edit a file generated by another editor that includes the BOM, Eclipse doesn't handle it properly, it 'shows an invisible character' at the begining of the file (the BOM). Is there a way to make Eclipse understand utf-8 encoded files with BOM?

For programmers I find that the chill time is time that can be used to either improve infrastructure, refactor some old code or learn a new language. I would like to know what your throughts about 'chill time' if its the right attitude at all, and if so what to do with it.   I need to open multiple files (2 input and 2 output files), do complex manipulations on the lines from input files and then append results at the end of 2 output files. I am currently using the following approach: in_1 = open(input_1) in_2 = open(input_2) out_1 = open(output_1, "w") out_2 = open(output_2, "w") # Read one line from each 'in_' file # Do many operations on the DNA sequences included in the input files # Append one line to each 'out_' file in_1.close() in_2.close() out_1.close() out_2.close() The files are huge (each potentially approaching 1Go, that is why I am reading through these input files one at a time. I am guessing that this is not a very Pythonic way to do things. :) Would using the following form good? with open("file1") as f1: with open("file2") as f2: # etc. If yes, could I do it while avoiding the highly indented code that would result?   I've been trying to diagnose this for some time, and unfortunately Im still getting the dreaded anonymous logon issue when trying to connect to a sql db as a domain user. Steps taken: App Pool created with delegation service acct Site / Virtual dir running with Integrated Windows auth only Made sure site itself can use kerberos KB 215383 Service acct added to IIS_WPG group Service acct added to "act as part of operating system" under Local Security settings Service acct added to Log on as service under Local Security Settings HTTP SPN set for web address + service account (and FQDN) MSSQLSvc SPN set for sql box and domain acct sql is running as Trust for delegation turned on service acct, specified services, and sql service acct After all this, Im still getting the exact same error from when I started. Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. This has advanced my balding by at least 5 years so far. I would greatly appreciate any additional tips on diagnosing or setting up.

On Jeff LaMarche's blog about this, Ole provides a method for instantiating these objects; you would instantiate a UIPopoverController like so: [NSClassFromString(@"UIPopoverController") alloc]. This is fine for instantiating these classes in code but what about protocols and their methods? My iPad app uses a UISplitViewController and has a class that needs to conform to the UISplitViewControllerDelegate and UIPopoverControllerDelegate. How would you declare this? And how would you work with a method such as the following? - (void)splitViewController:(UISplitViewController *)svc willHideViewController:(UIViewController *)aViewController withBarButtonItem:(UIBarButtonItem *)barButtonItem forPopoverController:(UIPopoverController *)pc where the method call requires UISplitViewController to be passed in?
