  • Is there any algorithm for turning simple HAXE code into C/C++ code files?

    I have simple Haxe app like class Main { public static function main() { trace("hello world"); } } I know how to compile such app for windows (not as SWF but as app from pure C\C++ )(and you can see how here but be worned thay use hxcpp\0,4 ) The problem is - I do not want to compile app for Windows Vista or 7 or XP I want to get PURE C\C++ code (better in one place as one project) for for example compiling that code on windows mobile or where ever I want to. So is there any algorithm for turning simple HAXE code into C/C++ code files?

  • Creating a iso file from a set of img files

    So i have started building android from scratch and after lot of effort finally landed up to a point where i have the OUT folder consisting of all the required IMG files for an emulator to run. Like the system.img ramdisk.img userdata-qemu.img So after that i ran the emulator command so that means the OUT directory was valid and could easily be used to create any other bootable medium. What i want to accomplish Creating the iso file from all those img files found at the end of building process,or a way to just create an iso out of that complete OUT folder. any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone give me simple code (not working code) so that I will try working to understand.(for a 3 hours ,I have been searching and reading some text to understand algorithm which is told above.Actually,there is no example code investigating how it is working.   • Are there any context-sensitive code search tools?

    I have been getting very frustrated recently in dealing with a massive bulk of legacy code which I am trying to get familiar with. Say I try to search for a particular function call, I get loads of results that turn out to be completely irrelevant; some of them are easy to spot, eg a comment saying // Fixed functionality in foo() so don't need to handle this here any more But others are much harder to spot manually, because they turn out to be calls from other functions in modules that are only compiled in certain cases, or are part of a much larger block of code that is #if 0'd out in its entirety. What I'd like would be a search tool that would allow me to search for a term and give me the choice to include or exclude commented out or #if 0'd out code. Then the search results would be displayed alongside a list of #defines that are required in order for that snippet of code to be relevant. I'm working in C / C++, but other than the specific comment syntax I guess the techniques should be more generally applicable. Does such a tool exist?

  • Auto height and the float issue.

    I have had this issue before and can't remember if and how I fixed it. I have to create a scenario where I have 2 DIV's floated left and right inside a parent DIV. The 2 floating DIV's have height:auto, but the parent ignores them (perfectly logical) and the background of the parent DIV can't be seen. I know what the issue is, but are there any suggestions of how to solve it? Or any alternatives, I am willing to try a new approach. Thanks in advance for any help.

The template thingy in VS does not make the field to go with it. Just looking for something a little bit better.   • Calling C# code from Java?

    Does anyone have a good solution for integrating some C# code into a java application? The code is small, so I could re-write in java, but I would rather reuse the code if possible. Don't repeat yourself, etc. Also, I know I can expose the C# as a web service or whatever, but it has some security/encryption stuff in there, so I would rather keep it tightly integrated if possible. Edit: It's going to be on a server-based app, so "downloading" another runtime is irrelevant.

  • Eclipse > Javascript > Code highlighting not working with Object Notation

    I am using Eclipse Helios with PDT, and when I am editing JavaScript files with the default JavaScript Editor (JSDT), code highlighting (Mark Occurrences) is not working for half of the code, for example JSON-style (or Object Literal if you will) declarations. Little example: Foo = {}; Foo.Bar = Foo.Bar || {}; Foo.Bar = { bar: function(str) { alert(str) }, baz: function(str) { this.bar(str); // This bar *is* highlighted though } }; Foo.Bar.baz('text'); No Bar, bar or baz is highlighted. For now, I humbly edit the JavaScript part of projects in Notepad++ because it just highlights every occurrence of whatever is currently selected. Is there a common practice for Eclipse JavaScript developers to get code highlighting work correctly, using the popular Object Literal notation? An option or update I missed? -update- I have found that code highlighting depends on the code being properly outlined. Altough commonly used, Object Literal outlining still seems rare in javascript editors. the Spket Javascript Editor does partial Object Literal outlining, and the Aptana Javascript Editor does full Object Literal outlining. But both loses other important functionality. A quest for the editor with the least loss of functionality is currently in progress in this question.

  • Is there any time estimation about sqlite3's open speed?

    I am using SQLite3 in C++, I found the opening time of sqlite seems unstable at the first time( I mean ,open windows and open the db at the first time) It takes a long tiom on 50M db, about 10s in windows? and vary on different times. Has any one met the same problem? I am writting an desktop application in windows, so the openning speed is really important for me.   • How to check whether your code environment on Windows or on Linux or other OS

    hi, right now, i code custom wordpress theme and testing it in xampp windows XP on apache server. But as long as i concern, there's no wp build-in function to identify the code environment. Is there's any PHP build-in function to identify such thing ? for the record, what i want to code need to read a directory. in my apache (in windows), the path will be c:/xampp/htdocs where apache on linux will be \somepath\somepath\ so, is there any code solution to know what is the OS environment without i have to compare the path ? i hope it will also work on other OS with other webserver then APACHE such as IIS

  • Rate my C# code (~300 SLOC) using GDI+/Backgroundworker

    Hi, I want to get some feedback on my code! Below is some background info. I am taking a pre-certification course in C# (Sweden, 15 ECTS). The focus of the course is theoretical and only limited practical work. I dont find the assignments very hard at all to tell you the truth, but since I only have very limited work experience as a developer (I have worked 15h/week at Ericsson since November) I think I would benefit from having the certificate (70-536 and more probably). I am currently reading Martin Fowler's "Refactoring: Improving the design of existing code" and I tried to apply his techniques to my latest lab in the course. I have been on the lookout for a website which have the idea of providing feedback on code, but so far I have yet to discover any. Please take a look on my code and tell me what you think. It is only roughly 300 lines of code divided into a couple of classes. GDI+, backgroundworker and user controls are what the lab is about. I reckon you may have to spend as little as a couple of minutes on looking on the solution.   • Best way to fix an out-of-sync TFS workspace after a back-up/restore

    Wednesday I had to restore from a back-up image I made on Monday. At the time of the snapshot I had about 20 files modified, which I later checked in, and more, on Tuesday. Now that I am back to a snapshot from Monday morning, my workspace has all of these files checked-out or added, etc. even my check-in comments and work-item associations. But I already did that check-in on Tuesday. I'm thinking I will shelve all the pending changes (just in-case), and then just undo all changes, and get latest (specific version). And I should be back to good. Any cautions or suggestions? (TFS 2008, VS2010)
