Been Googling around without finding much at all, so does anyone know of a class or library that helps you parse any sort of language, like a Domain Specific Language (I'm creating one, so I'm flexible in what the syntax and format can be) into either PHP code or some helpful struct or a class hiearchy or ... ? Anything goes at this point. :)
I want to experiment with parsing text files into tokens, building up a small grammar and syntax library to express things like Business Natural Languages.
Does anyone know how to turn off anti-aliasing for the text editor in Flash Builder on the Mac?
For Flex Builder I was able to do this via the terminal using the following
defaults write com.adobe.flexbuilder AppleAntiAliasingThreshold 20
defaults write com.adobe.flexbuilder AppleSmoothFixedFontsSizeThreshold 20
How can I detect if a file is binary or a plain text?
Basically my .NET app is processing batch files and extracting data however I don't want to process binary files.
As a solution I'm thinking about analysing first X bytes of the file and if there are more unprintable characters than printable characters it should be binary.
Is this the right way to do it? Is there nay better implementation for this task?
I'm writing an iPhone web app, and I want to automatically focus a text field when the page is loaded, bringing up the keyboard. The usual Javascript:
input.focus();
doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas?
I want my text box controls to remember previous input and have intellisense, like web control inputs.
Is there a quick, free and easy to implement solution to this?
$(document).ready(function () {
//create the div
var div = $("<div></div>").css("position", "absolute").text("a short message").appendTo("body");
//attach the mousemove event
$("body").bind('mousemove', function(evt) {
div.css({
"left": evt.pageX + "px",
"top": evt.pageY + "px"
});
});
});
what im trying to do is replace a short message with an iframe, what do i do?
I have a requirement to have a multiline textbox that accepts any text from any language and stores this into the database for later use.
I am using Linq with ASP .NET 3.5 with a SQL Server 2005 database.
Any/all information you can provide me with is much appreciated :D
First: No, none of the content should be loaded from the web. All content parts are shipped with the main bundle.
I have n images and mass of text (including lists). Instead of building all view parts programmatically in objective-c if was thinking of using an UIWebView and build "only" the HTML dynamically.
Does anything speaks against it?
How does UIWebView work with local content?
Links and resources welcome.
Thanks
I have an app that creates a new data entry in a sqlite db with several columns. I would like to have a simple share button on the final activity so they can share the results (or even a simple text field) with apps that accept it (email, mms, twitter, etc..).
I did some reading on ContentProviders but the more I read, the more I'm thinking i'm heading down the wrong path. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
How to Implement Moving content/text in website like a marquee. In asp.net.
I have values in my data set.the data set value must be displayed in div like a rotating flash news...
I'm writing a Bourne Shell script to automatically edit a source file.
I get the line number I need like this:
line=`sed -n '/#error/=' test.h`
line=$[$line - 2]
Now I want to insert a few lines of text after this line number, how can I do this?
I want to put all the data in the resultset into a text file in the same order. Is there any method to get data in all the rows at once and write to a file or have to write it row by row?
Note that I'm not looking for something based on TextBox or RichTextBox. What I'm interested in is a text editing control written from scratch using WPF typography features. Open source would be a plus.
Hi there,
I´ve got an jpeg image with text on it (badly scanned document), which is hardly readable. I have already played around with the sharpen filters, contrast, levels and the color replacement tool, with decent success. however my question is, what else can be done order to maximize the texts readablity? the picture is also somewhat noisy. Any help on this one would be greatly apreciated, since I absolutely need the images content.
Hi,
I have this rule:
body {
font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size: 12px
}
but i have different font size for the selects and the buttons then for plain text.
What should i do if i want the same size for everything?

Javi
So I have a Linux program that runs in a while(true) loop, which waits for user input, process it and print result to stdout.
I want to write a shell script that open this program, feed it lines from a txt file, one line at a time and save the program output for each line to a file.
So I want to know if there is any command for:
- open a program
- send text to a process
- receive output from that program
Many thanks.
