• Win32 call order

  Hi all, I have two windows that I send scripted input to. The procedure goes as this BringWindowToTop( window1 ); i = Build input structures( window1 ); SendInput(i); BringWindowToTop( window2 ); i = Build input structures( window2 ); SendInput(i); I was having trouble with inputs not being sent and the correct time. I put delays after each call and saw that input from the first SendInput() was processed after window2 is brought to top. Same thing at the end of the loop as well. Are SendInput calls buffered? If so, how can I make sure of a serial execution of this code? Thanks

Do I still need to be using mysql_real_escape_string()?

  I'm using MCX (I don't even know if someone here is familiar with it, pretty unkown derivate of COBOL and Fortran, look it up in google when you don't believe me) Note: I'm using MCX on the MCX-WebServices server as it does neither support apache or ISS, mabye that is one problem. The thing is that I want to use the XML library to read in an XML file and convert it into an output format readable by the user. In designing the system, I must take into consideration: Two types of input: standard shooter controls (lots of buttons being pressed and raw samples collected) and flight sim controls (the button's label is what the user presses to toggle something) Alternative software keyboard layouts (dvorak, azerty, etc) as supplied by the OS Alternative hardware keyboard layouts that supply Unicode characters My initial inclination is to sample the USB HID unicode scancodes. Interested on thoughts on what I need to do to be compatible with the world's input devices and recommendation of input APIs on both platforms.

  Hi there, I started with a form, which is made by hand because of it's complexity (it's a javascript modified form, with sortable parts, etc). The problem is that now I need to do the validation, and it's a total mess to do it from scratch in the action using the sfValidator* classes. So, I am thinking to do it using sfForm so that my form validation and error handling can be done more easier and so I can reuse this form for the Edit and Create pages. The form is something like this: <form> <input name="form[year]"/> <textarea name="form[description]"></textarea> <div class="sortable"> <div class="item"> <input name="form[items][0][name]"/> <input name="form[items][0][age]"/> </div> <div class="item"> <input name="form[items][1][name]"/> <input name="form[items][1][age]"/> </div> </div> </form> The thing is that the sortable part of the form can be expanded from 2 to N elements on the client side. So that it has variable items quantity which can be reordered. How can I approach this problem? Any ideas are welcome, thank you. :)

  first off, is there a such thing as a random access random number generator, where you could not only sequentially generate random numbers as we're all used to, assuming rand100() always generates a value from 0-100: for (int i=0;i<5;i++) print rand100() output: 14 75 36 22 67 but also randomly access any random value like: rand100(0) would output 14 as long as you didn't change the seed rand100(3) would always output 22 rand100(4) would always output 67 and so on... I've actually found an open-source generator algorithm that does this, but you cannot change the seed. I know that pseudorandomness is a complex field; I wouldn't know how to alter it to add that functionality. Is there a seedable random access random number generator, preferably open source? or is there a better term for this I can google for more information? if not, part 2 of my question would be, is there any reliably random open source conventional seedable pseudorandom number generator so I could port it to multiple platforms/languages while retaining a consistent sequence of values for each platform for any given seed?

I am also worried about overriding information that is already in the list or just adding again. Don't want to keep adding the same data. What is a good way to avoid this?   I have this DVB+Analog usb tv tuner Hauppauge WinTV HVR-900 (r2) [USB ID 2040:6502]. This used to work under ubuntu 10.04 LTS. But in 12.04 there seems to be a problem. I have linux-firmware-nonfree and ivtv-utils installed. I am running Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS 64 bit with all updates installed and the default unity environment. Can anybody make me understand the reason behind above behavior and whether invoking module function (which in turn invokes module's private method) on module in class method style is possible or not?   I have a form with an email property. When using {{ form.email }} in case of some validation error, django still renders the previous value in the input tag's value attribute: <input type="text" id="id_email" maxlength="75" class="required" value="[email protected]" name="email"> I want to render the input tag myself (to add some javascript code and an error class in case of an error). For example this is my template instead of {{ form.email }}: <input type="text" autocomplete="on" id="id_email" name="email" class="email {% if form.email.errors %}error{% endif %}"> However this does not display the errorneous value ("[email protected]" in this example) to the user. How do I get the field's value in the template?
