    Hi, I need to deploy web service on Tomcat with installed OpenEJB. I compiled simple Hello service that just prints "Hello" with JAX-WS and tried to deploy on tomcat, but got errors while deployment : ERROR - Error deploying CXF webservice for servlet helloservice.endpoint.Hello java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not find servlet helloservice in web application context /helloservice Please, help what is done wrong here. Is tomcat + openejb is sufficient for web service deployment? Thanks.

  • php require and autoload

    I use __autoload to load classes, and I keep getting errors that no class is found but file get's loaded ok. Then if I change something in a file, just something like add a new line and save it, everything works fine and class is then found. But this is a great problem cause there are thousands of files in this project and I don't want to change them one by one. I'm using php 5.3.0 on windows. What could be the problem?

    can you update your 2.3.5 app with just "gem update rails" and change the version # in environment.rb? I did that and lots of errors came out like in console just typing Post.all would show "undefined method `retrieve_connection' for nil:NilClass". Any ideas?   • NSZombieEnabled breaking working code?

    I have the following method in UIImageManipulation.m: +(UIImage *)scaleImage:(UIImage *)source toSize:(CGSize)size { UIImage *scaledImage = nil; if (source != nil) { UIGraphicsBeginImageContext(size); [source drawInRect:CGRectMake(0, 0, size.width, size.height)]; scaledImage = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext(); UIGraphicsEndImageContext(); } return scaledImage; } I am calling it in a different view with: imageFromFile = [UIImageManipulator scaleImage:imageFromFile toSize:imageView.frame.size]; (imageView is a UIImageView allocated earlier) This is working great in my code. I resizes the image perfectly, and throws zero errors. I also don't have anything pop up under build - analyze. But the second I turn on NSZombieEnabled to debug a different EXC_BAD_ACCESS issue, the code breaks. Every single time. I can turn NSZombieEnabled off, code runs great. I turn it on, and boom. Broken. I comment out the call, and it works again. Every single time, it gives me an error in the console: -[UIImage release]: message sent to deallocated instance 0x3b1d600. This error doesn't appear if `NSZombieEnabled is turned off. Any ideas? --EDIT-- Ok, This is killing me. I have stuck breakpoints everywhere I can, and I still cannot get a hold of this thing. Here is the full code when I call the scaleImage method: -(void)setupImageButton { UIImage *imageFromFile; if (object.imageAttribute == nil) { imageFromFile = [UIImage imageNamed:@"no-image.png"]; } else { imageFromFile = object.imageAttribute; } UIImage *scaledImage = [UIImageManipulator scaleImage:imageFromFile toSize:imageButton.frame.size]; UIImage *roundedImage = [UIImageManipulator makeRoundCornerImage:scaledImage :10 :10 withBorder:YES]; [imageButton setBackgroundImage:roundedImage forState:UIControlStateNormal]; } The other UIImageManipulator method (makeRoundCornerImage) shouldn't be causing the error, but just in case I'm overlooking something, I threw the entire file up on github here. It's something about this method though. Has to be. If I comment it out, it works great. If I leave it in, Error. But it doesn't throw errors with NSZombieEnabled turned off ever.

    I need to display a UI element (e.g. a star or checkmark) for employees that are 'favorites' of the current user (another employee). The Employee model has the following relationship defined to support this: has_and_belongs_to_many :favorites, :class_name => "Employee", :join_table => "favorites", :association_foreign_key => "favorite_id", :foreign_key => "employee_id" The favorites has two fields: employee_id, favorite_id. If I were to write SQL, the following query would give me the results that I want: SELECT id, account, IF( ( SELECT favorite_id FROM favorites WHERE favorite_id=p.id AND employee_id = ? ) IS NULL, FALSE, TRUE) isFavorite FROM employees Where the '?' would be replaced by the session[:user_id]. How do I represent the isFavorite scalar query in Rails? Another approach would use a query like this: SELECT id, account, IF(favorite_id IS NULL, FALSE, TRUE) isFavorite FROM employees e LEFT OUTER JOIN favorites f ON e.id=f.favorite_id AND employee_id = ? Again, the '?' is replaced by the session[:user_id] value. I've had some success writing this in Rails: ee=Employee.find(:all, :joins=>"LEFT OUTER JOIN favorites ON employees.id=favorites.favorite_id AND favorites.employee_id=1", :select=>"employees.*,favorites.favorite_id") Unfortunately, when I try to make this query 'dynamic' by replacing the '1' with a '?', I get errors. ee=Employee.find(:all, :joins=>["LEFT OUTER JOIN favorites ON employees.id=favorites.favorite_id AND favorites.employee_id=?",1], :select=>"employees.*,favorites.favorite_id") Obviously, I have the syntax wrong, but can :joins expressions be 'dynamic'?   • Duplicate System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger Controls keep getting inserted automatically, causing P

    I have an update panel with a number of [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and everything was working fine. But now, something keeps inserting duplicate AsyncTriggers, and instead of simply being [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls they're [System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and I get parser errors as a result. So I delete the duplicate triggers, and they get re-inserted within a few minutes, seemingly randomly. Anyone know whats going on here?

  • Speed Problem with Wireless Connectivity on Cisco 877w

    Having a bit of a weird one with my local LAN setup. I recently installed a Cisco 877W router on my DSL2+ connection and all is working really well.. Upgraded the IOS to 12.4 and my wired clients are streaming connectivity superfast at 1.3mb/s. However, there seems to be an issue with my wireless clients - I can't seem to stream any data across the local wireless connection (LAN) and using the Internet, whilst responsive enough isn't really comparable with the wired connection speed.   • #validate does not seem to work correctly with :on => :create/:update

    Greetings, I have a custom validation in my exemplary Movie model: class Movie < ActiveRecord::Base validate :it, :on => :create private def it self.errors.add 'foo', 'bar' end end This works on movie creation but also on updating an existing movie. :on => :update will also work for both. But several things can go wrong in some of these methods and returning a E_FAIL just doesn't cut it. What can i do in order to return more information? Can i make a HRESULT of my own?
