  I cannot believe I am having trouble with this following string String filter = "name=Default;pattern=%%;start=Last;end=Now"; This is a short and possibly duplicate question, but how would I split this string to get: string Name = "Default"; string Pattern = "%%" ; string start = "Last" ; string end = "Now" ; Reason why I ask is my deadline is very soon, and this is literally the last thing I must do. I'm Panicking, and I'm stuck on this basic command. I tried: pattern = filter.Split(new string[] { "pattern=", ";" }, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries)[1]; //Gets the pattern startDate = filter.Split(new string[] { "start=", ";" }, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries)[1]; //Gets the start date I happen to get the pattern which I needed, but as soon as I try to split start, I get the value as "Pattern=%%" What can I do? • Pygame's Message-multiple lines?

  I am using pygame and livewires (though I don't think that part is relevant here) to create a game. I've got the game working, but I'm trying to make something akin to a title screen before the game starts. However, it doesn't recognize when I try to make a new line appear. Here is what I have: begin_message=games.Message(value=""" Destroy the Bricks!\n In this game, you control a paddle,\n controlled by your mouse,\n and attempt to destroy all the rows of bricks.\n Careful though, you only have 1 life.\n Don't mess up! The game will start in\n 5 seconds.""", size=30, x=games.screen.width/2, y=games.screen.height/2, lifetime=500, color=color.white, is_collideable=False) games.screen.add(begin_message) The message appears on the screen, but the newline doesn't happen, so I can only read the first part of the message. Is there a way to make this message actually appear, or can I not use the 'Message' for this?

• Configure multiple keystores in JBoss depending on requested hostname

  Hello, I have my J2EE application deployed into a JBossAS. My Application has to respond to two different hostnames (https://foo.com/myApp and https://bar.com/myApp). It is the same instance of the app serving those two hostnames. But I don't know how to configure the keystores. I need different keystores for each hostname. Is there a way to tie a virtual host in JBoss' server.xml to a specific connector? Or do I have to use two different IP-addresses and create a connector for each? A solution that does not require a second IP-address would be greatly appreciated.

Those codes work on my FF (16.0.2). I just a little afraid that other browser may not. What actually happen ? How jQuery handle those code ? Thanks.

  I am using a checkbox that has the name selectedids[], and I am trying to select all checkbox with the JavaScript but the code is not working. However, when I change the name of checkbox to selectedids it works but I can't do so because I need all the ids that are selected on the POSTED page. • Zend Framework: How to display multiple actions, each requiring different authorizations levels, on

  Imagine I have 4 database tables, and an interface that presents forms for the management of the data in each of these tables on a single webpage (using the accordion design pattern to show only one form at a time). Each form is displayed with a list of rows in the table, allowing the user to insert a new row or select a row to edit or delete. AJAX is then used to send the request to the server. A different set of forms must be displayed to different users, based on the application ACL. My question is: In terms of controllers, actions, views, and layouts, what is the best architecture for this interface? For example, so far I have a controller with add, edit and delete actions for each table. There is an indexAction for each, but it's an empty function. I've also extended Zend_Form for each table. To display the forms, I then in the IndexController pass the Forms to it's view, and echo each form. Javascript then takes care of populating the form and sending requests to the appropraite add/edit/delete action of the appropriate controller. This however doesn't allow for ACL to control the display or not of Forms to different users. Would it be better to have the indexAction instantiate the form, and then use something like $this-render(); to render each view within the view of the indexAction of the IndexController? Would ACL then prevent certain views from being rendered? Cheers.

  While clicking inside the form , the form automatically tried to resubmit , I cannot figure out which part of the code causes it to behave like this . In the createTable function , a table is created after the domain is given . But I am unable to select any of the controls in the output .   Whats the best way to deploy several customized versions of a Android application? Currently I have a script to exchange the resource folder for getting a customized version of my app. It works great, but all custom versions still have the same package name in the AndroidManifest.xml. Therefore it is not possible to install two customized versions of the app at the same time. This is one solution for this problem, but that has to be done by hand Can you think of a more easy solution, or how this could be built into a skript? (btw: it is not for a porn/spam/whatever app, not even a paid one)

• Using methods on 2 input files - 2nd is printing multiple times - Java

  I have the following code to read in text, store in a hashmap as bigrams (with other methods to sort them by frequency and do v. v. basic additive smoothing. I had it working great for one language input file (english) and then I want to expand it for the second language input file (japanese - doens;t matter what it is I suppose) using the same methods but the Japanese bigram hashmap is printing out 3 times in a row with diff. values. I've tried using diff text in the input file, making sure there are no gaps in text etc. I've also put print statements at certain places in the Japanese part of the code to see if I can get any clues but all the print statements are printing each time so I can't work out if it is looping at a certain place. • Utilizing multiple python projects

  Hi I have a python app, that I'm developing. There is a need to use another library, that resides in different directory. The file layout looks like this: dir X has two project dirs: current-project xLibrary I'd like to use xLibrary in currentProject. I've been trying writting code as if all the sources resided in the same directory and calling my projects main script with: PYTHONPATH=.:../xLibrary ./current-project.py but this does not work. I'd like to use its code base without installing the library globaly or copying it to my project's directory. Is it possible? Or if not, how should I deal with this problem.

  I have a list of keywords in an ArrayList and I wanted to be able to build a query to find records in a table based on this keywords. Since the list of keywords is dynamic I cannot build a fixed query here. if I do something like this: foreach (string kw in keywords) { query = query.Where(p => p.Name.StartsWith(kw)); } The "StartsWith" is required here because I need to search those records that actually start with the provided keyword. In T-SQL it Would be something like this Select * from Table where Name like 'keyword1%' or Name like 'keyword2%' or Name like 'keyword3%' or ... But I need to be able to do this in LINQ...Is this possible?

  I have a set of methods that do some utility work over SQL connection, and until now these have been copied over from project to project. But as time goes on, project numbers have grown and I need to keep these methods in sync in case I find a bug or need to update it. I have managed to get it to the state that SQL access class is a partial class, one part is specific for project and contains wrappers for a specific database. The second part is the common one and contains methods that are used in all project-specific databases. The problem is that now I would have the "utility" class copied over 8 projects, with the same content, but in different namespaces. In C/C++ it would have been simple, because I would just have #included the contents of the file wherever needed. What should I do in C#?

  In my graph-package (as in graph theory, nodes connected by edges) I have a vector indicating for each edge the node of origin from, a vector indicating for each edge the node of destination to and a vector indicating the curve of each edge curve. By default I want edges to have a curve of 0 if there is only one edge between two nodes and curve of 0.2 if there are two edges between two nodes. The code that I use now is a for-loop, and it is kinda slow: curve <- rep(0,5) from<-c(1,2,3,3,2) to<-c(2,3,4,2,1) for (i in 1:length(from)) { if (any(from==to[i] & to==from[i])) { curve[i]=0.2 } } So basically I look for each edge (one index in from and one in to) if there is any other pair in from and to that use the same nodes (numbers).   I have a strange bug that occurs in IE7/XP and IE8/Vista on my website. IE sends two cookies named PHPSESSID. How to reproduce: Clear cookies in IE (not necessary if you never visited unisender.com). Visit unisender.com (exactly without www to reproduce!) and it will redirect to www.unisender.com Login with any valid username and password (I've registered username testmsdn with password testmsdn - feel free to use for testing) Run your favourite capture-the-traffic program (I prefer wireshark) Now click any menu link (e.g. "messages") Look at captured traffic - you will see that IE sends double PHPSESSID cookie (and you are logged out after click because of this). It seems like first PHPSESSID is from unisender.com and second from www.unisender.com. I suppose there should not be cookies with same name. Am I right? Is it a bug in IE? If it's a bug then is there a workaround? Or am I wrong and it's an expected behavior?

• Sharing a fabfile across multiple projects

  Fabric has become my deployment tool of choice both for deploying Django projects and for initially configuring Ubuntu slices. However, my current workflow with Fabric isn't very DRY, as I find myself: copying the fabfile.py from one Django project to another and modifying the fabfile.py as needed for each project (e.g., changing the webserver_restart task from Apache to Nginx, configuring the host and SSH port, etc.). One advantage of this workflow is that the fabfile.py becomes part of my Git repository, so between the fabfile.py and the pip requirements.txt, I have a recreateable virtualenv and deployment process. I want to keep this advantage, while becoming more DRY. It seems that I could improve my workflow by: being able to pip install the common tasks defined in the fabfile.py and having a fab_config file containing the host configuration information for each project and overriding any tasks as needed Any recommendations on how to increase the DRYness of my Fabric workflow?

• Git repositories on shared hosting with ssh access - multiple users / one ssh account

  I'm part of a small team trying to start coding on a project. I've decided it's time to give git a chance (no more svn) and was trying to see if we could use our shared web hosting to deploy a "public" repository there so that we can easily push/pull to/from it and keep up-to-date with each others changes. The problem I'm having now is that we only have a single ssh account for that hosting. Having used svn in the past, I could enforce a svn username on a given pair of ssh keys, however I don't seem to be able to do something similar with git (in other words tie the ssh keypair to a specific dev). I don't mind everybody having read/write permissions everywhere, since anything that is private should stay on each others machine. Finally, solutions such as gitosis can not be used. I guess my question to you is how is accountability to git pushes given? Is it tied to the ssh account being used, or the email address given in git config? Can I create different ssh keys for every developer (for the same ssh account though), and just send them to the devs?
