    Hi. I'm implementing a RESTful web service in python and would like to add some QOS logging functionality by intercepting function calls and logging their execution time and so on. Basically i thought of a class from which all other services can inherit, that automatically overrides the default method implementations and wraps them in a logger function. What's the best way to achieve this?

  • Google Vizualization with CSV data

    Hi, I have a URL that returns data in CSV format. I would like to use Google Vizualization to create an interactive chart of the data. I've looked at several examples on Google Chart and Vizualization web page but I'm a bit confused as I'm not familiar with JavaScript or web programming in general. Question: Do I have to use JavaScript to parse the CSV string myself and manually construct the DataTable with addColumn() and addRows()? Or, is there a way to simply pass the CSV url to the charting function? I'm hoping to do something like this: var csv_data = get_data_from_url('http://...') var data = new google.visualization.DataTable(csv_data); var chart = new google.visualization.PieChart(document.getElementById('chart_div')); chart.draw(data, ...); Can someone please help me out?     my code is written from http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1171433/jquery-xml-and-google-map Now all marker icons can be displayed at current google map. But now I want to add some function. When getting description of item (it will map to opposite icon) ,if user click this description, a hint will display near the map icon at google. I still can't how to start.I can get lat and lng of location. PS:some of markers will map to same point.

Is that possible?

    I was told that 95% of all loops in Python are "for" loops. Since "while" loops are clearly more "dangerous" than "for" loops, I would like to know if there are situations in which the use of a "while" loop is essential. For teaching purposes it would be useful to know if there is a systematic way of transforming "while" loops into "for" loops.

    Hi, I am trying to implement google map api into one of my web page which is generated by jsp document, and I am having trouble getting it work. I found some jsp taglibrary by www.lamatek.com/GoogleMaps, but it doesn't seem to work.(I mean even examples on their web site don't work) Has anyone done work on google map in jsp document? I can really use some help or advice.(It seems like jsp docuemnt and javascript just don't get along) p.s I can get static google map work, but that's not my client wants.

    In Python I have a list of n lists, each with a variable number of elements. How can I create a single list containing all the possible permutations: For example [ [ a, b, c], [d], [e, f] ] I want [ [a, d, e] , [a, d, f], [b, d, e], [b, d, f], [c, d, e], [c, d, f] ] Note I don't know n in advance. I thought itertools.product would be the right approach but it requires me to know the number of arguments in advance

  • Markers in Google Maps Application

    I am supposed to display a certain location using Google Maps application. I have lat/long values and tried Intent.ACTION_VIEW with "geo:lat,long?z=15" uri. The Google Maps application loads centered on the supplied lat-long value but obviously does not display any marker(overlays) pin-pointing the location. Is it possible to request the Google Maps App to display markers? Also, the zoom level paramater doesnt seem to work. Maps load at the default zoom level of 10. I can easily achieve this using MapActivity but Google Map App is what is desired. Thanks

  • Python XMLRPC with concurrent requests

    I'm looking for a way to prevent multiple hosts from issuing simultaneous commands to a Python XMLRPC listener. The listener is responsible for running scripts to perform tasks on that system that would fail if multiple users tried to issue these commands at the same time. Is there a way I can block all incoming requests until the single instance has completed?
