• open program once with multiple files as arguments from explorer

  I have a program that works when, a file is opened with it using the right click menu in explorer. But if I select multiple files and then right click and open with my program then it opens multiple instances of my program, instead of just passing the multiple files as arguments to a single instance. The program is written in vb.net but is not a windows form, it is just a module, so I can to tick the Single instance option in the properties in Visual Studio. So how do I open multiple files from explorer context menu in a single instance.

• How do I swap triangle icons when doing expanding/collapsing divs with Javascript/CSS

  I have a div that I want to toggle between displaying or not when a user clicks on a piece of text. I have a javascript function that toggles a div on or off. That works fine. What I don't know how to do is to have a triangle that points to the right or down depending on whether the div is open. My HTML looks like this: <a onclick="toggleDiv('myDiv');">Click here to expand or close div</a> <div id="myDiv" style="display:none"> ... </div> How do I add one of those triangles and have it point the right way, ideally with just HTML, Javascript, and CSS? The triangle would appear to the left of the "Click here..." string. Thanks.

• [.net] Treeview prevent Node collapse (weird problem)

  Hey guyz! I have a .net 2.0 C# Project. I have a Treeview with 2 Nodes, each of them has many child nodes. When you click on a child node, a PDF is displayed in a webbrowser control depending on the properties of the node. Fine, but the problem is that when both Nodes are expanded, and I click on a child node, the other node gets collapsed! I don't have any code that collapses any node of the treeview, but somehow it happens! I also had a look at the BeforeCollapse Event, but somehow it doesn't fire, alltough the other node collapses! Can anyone imagine why this happens? I would be very grateful if anyone can teach me how to prevent this happening! Thank you very much!

I'd like to change this page where after you view a product if you click "back" on your browser it'll load the cache instead of forcing the user to search again. How can I achieve this?   Hi, I am using tabs in my application. I have 3 tabs : home, services, contact us. In the 'home tab', there is 'login button' and my requirement is when I click the login button, it should display the view for 'login' in the same tab itself. That means it should start another activity (login.class) and display corresponding view (login.xml). And the tabs should be displayed at the top as before. But when I click the login button, it should start login activity, but the tabs are disappeared. How can I start an activity in the same tab itself? Please help me. Thank you...

• How to reset persistent scrollbar position after div refresh in FF3?

  Hi, I'm experiencing a weird scrollbar issue. I'm building a page that uses jQuery and PHP to dynamically load images into a DIV sequentially. This DIV is a fixed height but uses a scrollbar for its variable width. The problem is that the scrollbar does not reset after a dynamic refresh of the DIV. So when the user scrolls and then refreshes with new content, the scroll bar position stays persistent instead of resetting back to the left. This seems to only happen in FF3. The scrollbar resets perfectly fine in Chrome, Safari, and IE8. For each refresh, the DIV is hidden, emptied, sized with CSS, then sequentially appended with images. I've tried resetting white-space: normal before the nowrap, playing around with overflow, and also jQuery's scrollLeft to no avail. It still behaves strangely in FF3, and only FF3. http://www.shadowshapes.com/uttdev/ Click a thumbnail, move the scrollbar then click another thumb. Thanks for any help!

• jQuery on() method not working for appended elements

  I know I should use on() method for triggering appended elements and not use click(), so: $('#change_profile_img').on('click', function(){ alert(1); }); so the above code is working fine on any elements unless the appended elements, for example, I'm appending: $('.companylogo:first').append('<a id="change_profile_img" class="ic_change">CHANGE IMAGE</a>'); after it's appended, it's not working, but after a page refresh it works just fine. Another thing that I should mention, I'm doing the append from a modal page, it appends the button and everything but I could not trigger it anymore... I would appreciate any kind of help. Thanks

• Save information from MS crash reporter?

  On Windows XP when a process crashes, we get a dialog box with a link: "To view technical information about the error report, click here." The "click here" link brings up a whole lot of information in a window, but no obvious way to save it to a file. Is there a way? It would be very nice to be able to send that data to several different external vendors we're working with. The only other option I see in the dialog box is to send it to Microsoft, but this crash is likely not Microsoft's fault and there is no reason to send it to them.

  Hi ! I have implemented a subview which is supposed to load immediately when I click a button in the parent view. After loading the subview(which is basically holding an activityindicator), the program is supposed to process a method(which gets data from a server, so takes time) in it. However, I am unable to do it. What happens now is, when I click the button on the parent view, it processes the method first and only after that does the subview load on screen. Why is this so? Is there any specific functions I could use to make my method load only after the view has loaded?

• Can't type anything in inputs or textareas

  Hello, I have a problem: I've add a Jquery UI drag-n-drop widget to my page, but after that I can't type anything into inputs or textareas. I use jQuery 1.4.2 and jQuery UI 1.8rc3, and tiny_mce for convert textareas into WYSIWUG editor (I've tried to disable tiny_mce). When I put $("input").click( function(){ alert('clicked!'); }); - it's working(I have an alert). When I get focused to any input I even can't refresh page by F5 and go to the next element by Tab key. Now when user finished editing the values on this text boxes user has to click the button and this button invoke heavily process intensive algorithm on server side code based on the data received from client (Textboxes) And it could some time takes up to 30 to 45 minutes to complete the whole operation so the current thread is still inside the button click event handler function. That background task only provides one event, and the web page subscribes to it to get some text data after each stage of processing I was wandering if there is any way I can keep user up-to-date with what is the current progress on that background task. I have div element to print the current status information So I am looking for some sort of reverse mechanism then "get" and "post". I have read some articles on the Comet (programming) but I can't find any easy or definitive answer Thanks in advance

  I'm pretty much new to iphone development and I started with ViewBasedApplication and I have a UIViewController(GetDetails) and I'm adding a tabBarController to it .There are two tabbar items GetDetails and Login.On startup of app GetDetails view will load up.Now when I click on the other tabbaritem (Login )it has to redirect to LoginViewController.But in my app when I click on Login ,LoginViewController with two textboxes and a button is loaded.But the problem is additionally I am also getting the textbox and button of GetDetailsViewController.For Login tabbaritem I have set the nib name to LoginViewController.. How can I get the corresponding view only when a tabbar item is clicked ?

  The example to demonstrate the issue can be found here: link text The test shows a basic Mootools class that contains an element variable with a click event attached. There’s also a “cleanup” function to remove the event and nullify the element variable. My problem is that when I loop a thousand times to create the “LeakClass” instance and clean it up, it causes a major memory leak like there’s no tomorrow. I tested this on IE8 and Chrome. On the other hand what I’ve noticed is that if I comment out the line that adds the “click” event, the code doesn’t leak. Can somebody please help me structure the class/event in a manner that it doesn’t leak. Thanks in advance.
