  • Overwrite archetypes in Maven

    Hello again! I'm having some trouble using Maven for my archetypes and I will need to overwrite some. I launch an instruction that does an archetype:generate in an archetype already existing directory. Is there a parameter that let's me overwrite existing archetypes? I have search the maven definitve guide but it states that the only parameters accepted are: -DgroupId -DartifactId -Dversion -DpackageName -DarchetypeGroupId -DarchetypeArtifactId -DarchetypeVersion -DinteractiveMode I could just search the directory and delete the files, but this proccess is going to be done automatically (so no human involved, no brains involved) and I wouldn't like he machine deleting things around.   • MySQL full text search with partial words

    MySQL Full Text searching appears to be great and the best way to search in SQL. However, I seem to be stuck on the fact that it won't search partial words. For instance if I have an article titled "MySQL Tutorial" and search for "MySQL", it won't find it. Having done some searching I found various references to support for this coming in MySQL 4 (i'm using 5.1.40). I've tried using "MySQL" and "%MySQL%", but neither works (one link I found suggested it was stars but you could only do it at the end or the beginning not both). Here's my table structure and my query, if someone could tell me where i'm going wrong that would be great. I'm assuming partial word matching is built in somehow.   • Smooth Error in qplot from ggplot2

    I have some data that I am trying to plot faceted by its Type with a smooth (Loess, LM, whatever) superimposed. Generation code is below: testFrame <- data.frame(Time=sample(20:60,50,replace=T),Dollars=round(runif(50,0,6)),Type=sample(c("First","Second","Third","Fourth"),50,replace=T,prob=c(.33,.01,.33,.33))) I have no problem either making a faceted plot, or plotting the smooth, but I cannnot do both. The first three lines of code below work fine. The fourth line is where I have trouble: qplot(Time,Dollars,data=testFrame,colour=Type) qplot(Time,Dollars,data=testFrame,colour=Type) + geom_smooth() qplot(Time,Dollars,data=testFrame) + facet_wrap(~Type) qplot(Time,Dollars,data=testFrame) + facet_wrap(~Type) + geom_smooth() It gives the following error: Error in [<-.data.frame(*tmp*, var, value = list(NA = NULL)) : missing values are not allowed in subscripted assignments of data frames What am I missing to overlay a smooth in a faceted plot? I could have sworn I had done this before, possibly even with the same data.

  • How can I convert a projection that's not part of spatial_ref_sys?

    Hi, I'm importing shapefiles into a Postgres+PostGIS database. Here's my usual procedure: * Find an srid in the spatial_ref_sys table where srtext appears to match the shapefile's .prj file * Upload the data into a new table using the shp2pgsql utility, specifying the srid using the -s flag * Add the new table to my main geometry table, and on the way convert to an srid of 4269 (the Census standard projection) using ST_Transform Unfortunately, the spatial_ref_sys table doesn't include Mississippi state's standard projection. The contents of their .prj file is as follows, where I've bolded the parts I usually try to match: PROJCS["mstm",GEOGCS["GCS_North_American_1983",DATUM["D_North_American_1983",SPHEROID["GRS_1980",6378137.0,298.257222101]],PRIMEM["Greenwich",0.0],UNIT["Degree",0.0174532925199433]],PROJECTION["Transverse_Mercator"],PARAMETER["False_Easting",500000.0],PARAMETER["False_Northing",1300000.0],PARAMETER["Central_Meridian",-89.75],PARAMETER["Scale_Factor",0.9998335],PARAMETER["Latitude_Of_Origin",32.5],UNIT["Meter",1.0]] I eventually found the ogr2ogr utility, and especially with the "peace and joy" promises, I decided to give it a try. I tried this command: ogr2ogr -update -f "PostgreSQL" PG:"Connection details" "File name.shp" -t_srs EPSG:4269 -nln Table_Name I am now getting the error "Terminating translation prematurely after failed translation of layer" -- which seems to indicate that ogr2ogr is not going to be the savior I imagined in getting arbitrary .prj files neatly into the 4269 projection. Any ideas about what to do?

    How can I use an IComponentActivator instance for a component, not just specifying a type. That is, instead of Component.For<XYZ>.Activator<MyComponentActivator>(); I want to be able say Component.For<XYZ>.Activator(new MyComponentActivator(someImportantRuntimeInfo)); Also, is there a way I can choose an activator dynamically for a non specifically registered component? That is, I want to have an activator that looks at the type being resolved, decides if it can activate it, and if not, responsibility for activation should be passed on to the default activator. So basically I want a global IComponentActivator that has the following logic: Create(Type type){ if (ShouldActivate(type)){ DoActivate(type); } else{ // do default activation here somehow } } Thanks!

  • Don't understand the typing of Scala's delimited continuations (A @cps[B,C])

    I'm struggling to understand what precisely does it mean when a value has type A @cps[B,C] and what types of this form should I assign to my values when using the delimited continuations facility. I've looked at some sources: http://lamp.epfl.ch/~rompf/continuations-icfp09.pdf http://www.scala-lang.org/node/2096 http://dcsobral.blogspot.com/2009/07/delimited-continuations-explained-in.html http://blog.richdougherty.com/2009/02/delimited-continuations-in-scala_24.html but they didn't give me much intuition into this. In the last link, the author tries to give an explicit explanation, but it is not clear enough anyway. The A here represents the output of the computation, which is also the input to its continuation. The B represents the return type of that continuation, and the C represents its "final" return type—because shift can do further processing to the returned value and change its type. I don't understand the difference between "output of the computation", "return type of the continuation" and "final return type of the continuation". They sound like synonyms.

Let that parameter be @AccessRights, this is also a comma separated string which may have a value like STOLI,BRANCH,HELPLINE etc Now I want to compare individual values from the parameter @AccessRights with the column AccessRights. Current Approach is I split the Comma Separated string(@AccessRights) using a User Defined Function Split. And I get Individual values in a Table variable(Contains only one column "accessGroup"), the individual values are in a Table variable under the column name accessGroup and I use following code in the SP for comparison Where AccessRights like '%'+accessGroup+'%' Now if the user passes the parameter (HELP, OLI) instead of( HELP,STOLI) the SP will give the output. What should be done for comparison so that that subststring OLI does not give the output for STOLI

    I have this factory class and I want to test it correctly. Let's say I have an abstract class which have many child (inheritance). As you can see in my Factory class the method BuildChild, I want to be able to create an instance of a child class at Runtime. I must be able to create this instance during Runtime because the type won't be know before runtime. And, I can NOT use Unity for this project (if so, I would not ask how to achieve this). Here's my Factory class that I want to test: public class Factory { public AnAbstractClass BuildChild(Type childType, object parameter) { AnAbstractClass child = (AnAbstractClass) Activator.CreateInstance(childType); child.Initialize(parameter); return child; } } To test this, I want to find a way to Mock Activator.CreateInstance to return my own mocked object of a child class. How can I achieve this? Or maybe if you have a better way to do this without using Activator.CreateInstance (and Unity), I'm opened to it if it's easier to test and mock! I'm currently using Moq to create my mocks but since Activator.CreateInstance is a static method from a static class, I can't figure out how to do this (I already know that Moq can only create mock instances of objects). I took a look at Fakes from Microsoft but without success (I had some difficulties to understand how it works and to find some well explained examples). Please help me! EDIT: I need to mock Activator.CreateInstance because I want to force this method to return another mocked object. The correct thing I want is only to stub this method (not to mock it). UPDATE REGARDING COMMENTS/ANSWERS I have received a number of responses indicating the number of headers may not match the field count in the body. As I mention below, eliminating the php script below altogether would eliminate 5+ fields in the header and without question throw the count match off balance. This DOES NOT however cause an error and in fact "resolves" the issue in that datatables functions properly (even though there is NO header record for 5+ fields in the body.

Assuming that I can compare objects of V against objects of T, I'd like to find which items are in listOfOnes but, not in listOfTwos.   • JQuery Post-Request question - FF doesn't get the result of the referenced php page

    Dear community, I just want to have my question posted here but just from the beginning: For a personal web project I use PHP + JQuery. Now I got stuck when I try to use the ajax posting method to send data to another php-page. I planned to have some navigational elements like next + previous on the bottom of the page by saving the user input / user given data. The code looks as follows: <div id="bottom_nav"> <div id="prev" class="flt_l"><a href="?&step=<?= $pages[$step-1] ?>">next</a></div> <div id="next" class="flt_r"><a href="?&step=<?= $pages[$step+1] ?>">previous</a></div> </div> The functionality of the page works fine. Lateron, I use the following code to sent data over via POST: $("#bottom_nav a").click( function() { alert("POST-Link: Parameter=" + $("#Parameter").val()); $.ajax( { type:"post", url:"saveParameter.php", data:"Parameter=" + $("#Parameter").val(), success: function(result) { alert(result); //$("#test").text(result); } }); }); The request itself work perfectly on IE, but on FF I'm not able to get back any result. within the PHP page, there just written: <? echo $_POST['Parameter']; ?> As IE returns the correct value, FF just provide an empty message box. I assumed that the behaviour on the -Link is different. While IE seems to handle the click event after the JS-Code execution, FF will interpret it before. My question was whether you has a solution on this regarding restructuring the code itself or using another method to reach the intened behaviour. This works: SELECT * FROM `user` , `desired_partner` , `user_personality` WHERE dob BETWEEN '1957-05-18' AND '1988-05-18' AND country_id = '190' AND user.gender_id = '1' AND user.user_id = desired_partner.user_id AND desired_partner.gender_id = '2' AND user.user_id = user_personality.user_id AND user_personality.personality_id = '2' The sql finds any male (gender_id=1) with ATLEAST personality trait 2 (and possibly other personality traits) between certain age range in the USA (country_id=190) looking for a female (gender_id=2). Question 1) How do I make it so it returns those with personality type 2 ONLY and no other personality traits? Find any man in the USA that is between 22 and 53 that is of personality type 2 (only) that is looking for a woman. Question 2) Supposing I want to find someone that matches personality type 1, personality type 2, and personality type 5 ONLY. There are 14 personality traits in the database and a user can be associated with any of them. Find any man in the USA that is between 22 and 53 that is of personality type 1, 2, and 5 (ONLY) that is looking for a woman.

  • Why would a WebService return nulls when the actual service returns data?

    I have a webservice (out of my control) that I have to talk to. I also have a packet-sniffer on the line, and (SURPRISE!!!) the developers of the webservice aren't lying. They are actually sending back all of the data that I requested. But the web-service code that is auto-generated from the WSDL file is giving me "null" as a value. I used their WSDL file to generate my Web Reference. I checked my data types with the datatypes that the WSDL file has declared. And I used the code as listed below to perform the calls: DT_MaterialMaster_LookupRequest req = new DT_MaterialMaster_LookupRequest(); req.MaterialNumber = "101*"; req.DocumentNo = ""; req.Description = "Pipe*"; req.Plant = "0000"; MI_MaterialMaster_Lookup_OBService srv = new MI_MaterialMaster_Lookup_OBService(); DT_MaterialMaster_Response resp = srv.MI_MaterialMaster_Lookup_OB(new DT_MaterialMaster_LookupRequest[] { req }); // Note that the response here is ALWAYS null!! Console.WriteLine(resp.Status); The resp object is an actual object. It was generated properly. However, the Status and MaterialData fields are always null.
