MYSQL select query where multiple conditions in same column must exist

I'm putting together a dating site and I'm having a mysql query issue. This works: SELECT * FROM `user` , `desired_partner` , `user_personality` WHERE dob BETWEEN '1957-05-18' AND '1988-05-18' AND country_id = '190' AND user.gender_id = '1' AND user.user_id = desired_partner.user_id AND desired_partner.gender_id = '2' AND user.user_id = user_personality.user_id AND user_personality.personality_id = '2' The sql finds any male (gender_id=1) with ATLEAST personality trait 2 (and possibly other personality traits) between certain age range in the USA (country_id=190) looking for a female (gender_id=2). Question 1) How do I make it so it returns those with personality type 2 ONLY and no other personality traits? Find any man in the USA that is between 22 and 53 that is of personality type 2 (only) that is looking for a woman. Question 2) Supposing I want to find someone that matches personality type 1, personality type 2, and personality type 5 ONLY. There are 14 personality traits in the database and a user can be associated with any of them. Find any man in the USA that is between 22 and 53 that is of personality type 1, 2, and 5 (ONLY) that is looking for a woman.

I've been trying to figure out how to write this regular expression. It is to be used for ISAPI_Rewrite, a module for IIS 6, for doing URL rewriting. I want the url /hg/<parameter> to be mathed, so it can be rewrited to /hg/hgwebdir.cgi/<parameter>. I've matched it using ^/hg/(.*). My problem is, if the URL /hg/hgwebdir.cgi/<parameter> is used, the regex should NOT match. Using the above regex with this URL, will rewrite to /hg/hgwebdig.cgi/hgwebdig.cgi/<parameter> which is not correct. Can you help me create the matching pattern?

Why do we need to use out keyword while calling a method

When a method is defined with an out parameter, why do I have to specify the out keyword when calling it. Its already there in the method definition, and the runtime should know that any parameter passed will be an out parameter. It would make sense if the compiler will accept the argument with or without out keyword, with different semantic, but if you MUST add the keyword to make the code compile, whats the use? Shouldn't the compiler handle it automatically? Same for ref

I am reading some parameters (from user input) from a .txt file and want to make sure that my script could read it even a space or tab is left before that particular parameter by user. Also if I want to add a comment for each parameter followed by # , after the parameter (e.g 7870 # this is default port number) to let the user know about the parameter How can I achieve it in same file? iPhone: change height of UITableViewCell coming from a NIB

I have a UITableView of custom UITableViewCells which looks like this: [ CELL 0 [ description ] [ dynamic content type 1 ] [ dynamic content type 2 ] [ dynamic content type 3 ] ] [ CELL 1 [ description ] [ dynamic content type 1 ] [ dynamic content type 3 ] ] [ CELL 2 [ description ] [ dynamic content type 2 ] ] [ ... and so on ... ] Since the [description] part is already pretty complex I decided to use Interface Builder to design it and at add the [dynamic content] in the cellForRowAtIndexPath programmatically with [cell addSubview:...]. My problem is now, that I set a default height for my custom UITableViewCell in Interface Builder, but when I add my [dynamic content] (which might range between 0..3) I have different cells with different heights. One thing is of course to calculate the total height and change the return value in heightForRowAtIndexPath, but how do I change the height value of my actual cell (which was loaded from a nib file with a fixed height)?

Hi folks! I'm wondering if it is possible to use assigned variables as identifier in a json array. When I tried this, I was getting some unexpected results: (Code is simplified, parameters are passed in a different way) var parameter = 'animal'; var value = 'pony'; Util.urlAppendParameters (url, {parameter : value}); Util.urlAppendParameters = function(url, parameters) { for (var x in parameters) { alert(x); } } Now the alert popup says: 'parameter' instead of 'animal'. I know I could use a different method (creating an array and assigning every parameter on a new line), but I want to keep my code compact. So my question is: Is it possible to use a variable as an identifier in the json array, and if so, could you please tell me how? Thanks in advance!

Removing entity bug

hello, I am trying out the ria services and I am experiencing this problem that seems very strange to me. I am creating a new entity of type "House" and add it to context without saving the context so the id of the new entity is 0, after i remove this entity and add another new entity of type "House" again and again without saving the context, here comes the weird part, now I have an entity of type "City" which holds entityset of all "Houses" in that city, so to put the newly created entity "House" into the city i do something like this - house.City = city, where house is type "House" and city is type "City", afte this step a check the context and suddenly there are 2 entities of type "House" with id 0, one of them is the one I have deleted at the beginning. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?? thank you Greg

How do I prevent duplicate entries into a list, and then ideally, sort that list? What I'm doing, is when information at one level is missing, taking the information from a level below it, to building the missing list, in the level above. ora-00939 error in reporting services, SSRS

Hi, I have an SSRS report , Oracle is my backend and am using this following query for dataset of my second parameter. select distinct X from v_stf_sec_user_staffing_center usc where usc.center_group_id in ( select distinct center_group_id from V_T_STAFFING_CENTER_GROUP scg where INSTR(','||REPLACE(:PI_REGION_LIST,' ')||',', ','||scg.group_abbreviation||',') 0) and usc.nt_user_name=:PI_NT_USER_NAME Here PI_REGION_LIST is a multivalued parameter of string type. and PI_NT_USER_NAME is a default string valued parameter this query works fine when i try to execute in manulally in the Data tab , also in the Oracle tool. But when i run the report in SSRS and select more than 3 values for the parameter PI_REGION_LIST the report throws an error on this dataset, ora-00939 error,too many arguments for function. I am not able to figure out the error here. Please help me with an idea. Thanks in advance, Suni.

Obtain stored procedure metadata for a procedure within an Oracle package using ADO.NET

Hi, I am trying to obtain the stored procedure metadata (procedure name,parameter types,parameter names etc) for a procedure declared within an Oracle package, using the standard ADO.NET API - DbConnection.GetSchema call. I am using the ODP driver. I see that the Package is listed in the 'Packages' and 'PackageBodies' metadata collections. The procedure parameter appears in the 'Arguments' and 'ProcedureParameters' collections. I do not see a way to get to the procedure information via the package metadata. Even if the procedure does not have any parameters there is a row in the 'ProcedureParameters' collection for this procedure. My question: To obtain the procedure metadata do I have to query the 'ProcedureParameters' collection and search for an entry with the required package name? I can then construct the procedure metadata based on the parameter information. Is there a shorter or quicker way to obtain the same information?

SQLAlchemy automatically converts str to unicode on commit

Hello, When inserting an object into a database with SQLAlchemy, all it's properties that correspond to String() columns are automatically transformed from <type 'str'> to <type 'unicode'>. Is there a way to prevent this behavior? Hi guy, I need to integrate struts with spring for a project. I read the doc to ingrate struts and it's ok for classic beans but I have a problem for my forms. I have a form like this in my struts-config.xml: <form-beans> <form-bean name="creationForm" type="org.apache.struts.validator.DynaValidatorActionForm" > <form-property name="libelle" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="quantite" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="prix" type="java.lang.String" initial="10" /> </form-bean> But it's strange for me to have a "type" in struts-config because it's spring which manages beans. I don't found anything in the doc to manage forms by spring and the attribute "type" is mandatory for form in struts-config. Someone can help me please ?

service broker message process order

Everywhere I read says that messages handled by the service broker are processed in the order that they arrive, and yet if you create a table, message type, contract, service etc , and on activation have a stored proc that waits for 2 seconds and inserts the msg into a table, set the max queue readers to 5 or 10, and send 20 odd messages I can see in the table that they are inserted out of order even though when I insert them into the queue and look at the contents of the queue I can see that the messages are all in the right order. Is it due to the delay waitfor waiting for the nearest second and each thread having different subsecond times and then fighting for a lock or something? I get them with the following line: private static List<Type> GetAlgorithmTypes { get { return Assembly.GetAssembly(typeof(SymmetricAlgorithm)).GetTypes().Where( type => type.IsSubclassOf(typeof(SymmetricAlgorithm))).ToList(); } } As you can see when i run this, AesCryptoServiceProvider is not a member of this group, even though it inherits from AES, which does belong to SymmetricAlgorithm and shows up in my list. This wouldn't be so much of a problem, i can manually add the provider in the group if i have too, but then if i try to retrieve this type by its name: Type t = Type.GetType("System.Security.Cryptography.AesCryptoServiceProvider"); i get a null object for AesCryptoServiceProvider, but not for any of the other items in the group. This is really strange, and i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas. It's kinda making me need to use tripleDES because of this (since my machines are all running the FIPS compliance requirement). JQuery UI datepicker in Asp.Net MVC

I have tried to use some of the widgets in JQuery UI on an Asp.Net MVC site without luck. For example the basic datepicker from jQuery UI - functional demos. I have created a simple MVC project and added the script references in Site.Master like this: <script src="../../Scripts/jquery-1.2.6.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="../../Scripts/jquery-ui-personalized-1.5.3.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <link href="../../Content/Site.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <link href="../../Content/ui.datepicker.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />" In the Index.aspx file I have cleared all default content and added the following: <script type="text/javascript"> $("#basics").datepicker(); </script> <input type="text" size="10" value="click here" id="basics"/> The core jQuery works fine. Any clues?

ria entity remove bug

hello, I am trying out the ria services and I am experiencing this problem that seems very strange to me. I am creating a new entity of type "House" and add it to context without saving the context so the id of the new entity is 0, after i remove this entity and add another new entity of type "House" again and again without saving the context, here comes the weird part, now I have an entity of type "City" which holds entityset of all "Houses" in that city, so to put the newly created entity "House" into the city i do something like this - house.City = city, where house is type "House" and city is type "City", afte this step a check the context and suddenly there are 2 entities of type "House" with id 0, one of them is the one I have deleted at the beginning. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?? thank you Greg
