    I've seen a lot of codes use a service-dao pattern , I don't know the origin of this pattern . It force the front layer call service , then delegates some of the service task to dao. I want to ask : Does DAO layer do purely data access related task ? What about exception encapsulation ? Is there other pattern can be used to replace this ?

  • Should a Stack have a maximum size?

    I'm practicing my knowledge of ADTs by implementing some data structures, even if most already exist. With Stacks, a lot of books and other documentation I've read talk about the stack throwing an error when you try to add an element but the stack is full. In a java implementation (or any other), should I specifically keep track of a maximum stack size (from constructor), check to see if that size is reached, and throw an overflow exception if it is? Or is not such a big deal?

  • spring classloader isolation problem on jboss

    Hi, i have two ears deployed on jboss with proper classloaders isolation settings. When seam bean call spring beans which make some queries on database everything works fine, but when spring quartz job bean is invoked and execute tries to execute database queries then there is a problem because spring tries too use hibernate jar from other ear and exception is thrown! It is clearily spring classloader isolation problem. Did anyone meet such a problem? How to ensure isolation?

    Hello, I have a com interop c++ dll that is loaded in c++ throught the .tlb file generated in c#. When I run in my computer it works fine but when I run in a computer that just got formated it gives: WindowsError: exception code 0xe0434f4d Do I have to do something for the .tlb file or its dll to be registered in the system? Something regarding regasm.exe? If so, it is possible to only download regasm.exe and use it? Thanks in advance!

For commands it works fine, they are enabling or disabling correctly. But when i try to disable view and open perspective, that contains that view (myproject.view.input), it opened without that view, but also throws exception: !STACK 1 org.eclipse.ui.PartInitException: Could not create view: myproject.view.input at org.eclipse.ui.internal.ViewFactory.createView(ViewFactory.java:158) I can show full stacktrace if anyone want. I tried to debug my application and before i open my perspective whith that view, i checked currentState of my CommandState source provider, and all seemes to be ok: all variables values are correct and myproject.view.input.active = DISABLED Can anyone say, why exception is thrown?     In my C# app, even I handle exception : Application.SetUnhandledExceptionMode(UnhandledExceptionMode.CatchException); AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException += new UnhandledExceptionEventHandler(CurrentDomain_UnhandledException); and then in handler showing dialog box and doing Application.Exit still getting windows error reporting dialog with Send, Don't Dend... How to prevent windows error reporting dialog from popping up?
