• Cannot start session without errors in phpMyAdmin running Nginx with PHP-FPM

  Whenever I open phpMyAdmin from my VPS I get the following error: Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly. I have researched it, but cant seem to find a solution, I have done the following: Cleared cache and cookies Checked the php.ini (see below) Checked the logs (found nothing relevant) Given the correct permissions. [by sudo chown -R root:nginx /home/humza/pma] I am running Nginx with PHP-FPM, I have php-mysql and all that working fine but I can't get phpMyAdmin to work. I downloaded it off phpMyAdmin's website and extracted it, that's all. http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=6n57cW8H - my php.ini sessions bit http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=VaNP2TLi - my whole php.ini None of my logs have anything relevant.   Thanks to Lifehacker I came across Sikuli which is described as: Sikuli is a visual technology to search and automate graphical user interfaces (GUI) using images (screenshots). The first release of Sikuli contains Sikuli Script, a visual scripting API for Jython, and Sikuli IDE, an integrated development environment for writing visual scripts with screenshots easily. Sikuli Script automates anything you see on the screen without internal API's support. You can programmatically control a web page, a desktop application running on Windows/Linux/Mac OS X, or even an iphone application running in an emulator. As this looks very promising, perhaps complementary to AutoHotKey I'm curious what scripts you guys will come up with. Especially since this program is portable and could solve "simple" Super User problems.   From an answer I gave to another question: There are comment filtering services out there that can analyse comments in a manner similar to mail spam filters (all links to the client API page, organised from simplest API to most complex): Steve Kemp (again) has an xml-rpc-based comment filter: it's how Debian filters comments, and the code is free software, meaning you can run your own comment filtering server if you like; There's Akismet, which is from the WordPress universe; There's Mollom, which has an impressive list of users. It's closed source; it might say "not sure" about comments, intended to suggest offering a captcha to check the user. For myself, I'm happy with offline by-hand filtering, but I suggested Kemp's service to someone who had an underwhelming experience with Mollom, and I'd like to pass on more reports from anyone who has tried these or other services.

  Helo I installed MAMP PRO on my Macbook Pro (10.6) some time ago. Now I would like to use zip functions in php. I found that I must add zip.so to my extension folder and edited php.ini. On my computer I have two different versions of PHP one in MAMP folder and other in user/lib which was pre-installed on my system. Now I wish to compile my zip library for MAMP version. I got zip sources for my version of PHP then in terminal called function /Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/bin/phpize so it uses mamp php version ./configure make then I moved compile zip.so to extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613.   I'm trying to setup the logentries service. If a log entry has a token in it then I would like to send it to api.logentries.com:10000. The token is a guid in the format aaaaaaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd-eeeeeeeeeeee.   I'm a new VS user. I've received some sample C++ projects working with a 3rd party API. They were saved in VS2012 format, but I have VS 2013. After conversion I find that there is an API specific macro defined in the project properties in the "Linker|General|Additional Library Directories" category. If I click on 'edit' I can replace the macro with an actual path, but how do I establish what the macro points to? In other words, how does one create a macro usable in multiple projects?

  I installed TeamCity and enabled NuGet server, both Authenticated Feed and Public Feed. When I try to push packages to the server with the following command: > nuget push package.nupkg [API-Key-here] -s http://myserver/httpAuth/app/nuget/v1/FeedService.svc/ I get the following prompt: Please provide credentials for: http://myserver/httpAuth/app/nuget/v1/FeedService.svc/ And asks me for both "UserName" and "Password". I've tried entering credentials for TeamCity administrator and Windows administrator, but nothing works. My website is a PHP MySQl driven site which hase got site scrapping for more than 10 websites and near about 8-10 API pursing and some about 150 mb dat file reading(from local hard drive), and also one rss pursing,Live graph from other sites, geo map from Google,Map api from Google and so on. one widget which real-time result for any one who chose the same. so my question is which is best option for me. actually I am considering softlayer cloud as they are pretty cheap and more facilities than rackspace. another option is a dedicated server which has 2 single core processor, 4GB ram and 250GB sata II. with 100 mbps uplink. so please tell me which will be the best option?? I heard that dedicated server has lots of limitations than cloud. but for cloud they uses SAN for storage so I am afraid the reading proces for database may be bit slower...and their basic plan ram is only 1 GB.

• Get active network interface on Windows

  I'm developing an application that provides a UI to windump, the packet sniffer. Windump has a "-D" parameter that lists all network interfaces it can find, and then you can specify which interface to listen on. However, I'd like to avoid forcing the user to manually configure which interface to listen on. On Unix, I can obtain the right network interface (en0, en1, etc.) via a call to ifconfig and some parsing of the output, but I cannot locate any equivalent Windows API or command that can yield similar information--ipconfig doesn't seem to obtain this data. Can anyone suggest either a Windows command-line tool or an API that can be called via VBScript to obtain this data so that I don't have to present the user with a dialog in my GUI telling them to select the right interface?

  I have a server JAR that is deployed once per customer, it is the API server for their software package. To that end, the port for each API instance must be the same, so that anything programmed against it can always find it. Each instance is deployed on a different domain name The problem I'm having is that, even when using a SelectChannelConnector and setting the host property, I can't get two instances to run simultaneously, I get a BindException with "Address already in use". I suppose my question is: can Jetty do this, or do I need to do some external re-writing, or is there a better way I can go about achieving the same ends? Thanks.

  I know this looks like weird and useless, but let me explain... I'm running Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) to make some tests on Windows 8 Preview. One of it's assessment is the "Battery Run Down Test", which tests battery consumption with some procesor load. I'm trying to "automate" in some way this test, I mean, I wish to execute it without any human intervention (such as manually disconecting the eletric power source to leave my notebook running only from batteries to run this assessment). So, there is some ACPI API, Windows API or even an easy bat shell/VBScript/Powershell command to do this? Does someone already made something like? PS: I'm asking this because I couldn't found any answer, but maybe someone here would have any tip...

Actually in my company there is a local server ( 192.168.1.99) where all projects resides and we access phpmyadmin of that local server, Although I have added my project folders with NetBeans (this was also very hectic) but now I am having problem to connect database of my local server as I can see 192.168.1.99/phpmyadmin through my browser. I have set below value Server Host : localhost, Server port number : 3306, Administrator username : keshav Administrator password : ****** and when i click on connect, a popup error windows appears with below text Unable to connect to the MySQL server: org.netbeans.api.db.explorer.DatabaseException: org.netbeans.api.db.explorer.DatabaseException: java.sql.SQLException: Access denied for user 'keshav'@'localhost' (using password: YES). • Scaling a video processing application on EC2?

  I am approaching the need to scale a video-processign application that runs on EC2. So far the setup is one machine: Backbonejs frontend Rails 3.2 Postgresql Resque + S3 for storage The flow of the app is as follows: 1) Request from frontend. Upload a video. 2) Storing video 3) Quering external APIs. 4) Processing / encoding videos. 5) Post to frontend. I can separate the backend and frontend without any problems, but when it comes to distributing the backend between several servers I am a bit puzzled. I can probably come up with a temporary solution (like just duplicating apps making several instances), but since I don't really have expertise in backend system administration, there can be some fundamental mistakes.. Also I would rather have something that is scalable. I wonder if anyone can give some feedback on the following plan: A) Frontend machine. Just frontend, talks to backend via REST Api of sorts. B) Backend server (BS), main database. Gets request from 1), posts to 2) saves uploads to 3) C) S3 storage. D) Server for quering APIs. Basically just a Resque workers, that post info back to 2) E) Server for video encoding. Processes videos uploaded on 3) and uploads them back. So I will have: A)frontend \ \ B)MAIN_APP/DB ----- C)S3 Storage (Files) / \ / / \ / D)ExternalAPI_queries E)Video_Processing (redundant DB) (redundant DB) All this will supposedly talk to each other via HTTP requests. My reason for this is that Video Processing part is really the most resource-intensive and I would just run barebones application that accepts requests and starts processing them. Questions: 1) In this setup I will have the main database at B) and all other servers will communicate with it via HTTP requests (and store duplicates of databases also I guess..for safety reasons). Is it the right approach or should I have 1 database that everyone connects to (how then?) 2) Is it a good idea to separate API queries from Video Processing part? Logically they are very close (processing is determined by the result of API queries), but resource-wise Video Processing is waaay more intensive. 3) what should I use to distribute calls between backend apps based on load?
