    Hi lads, After obtaining the urls for various blogspots, tumblr and wordpress pages, I faced some problems processing the html pages. The thing is, i wish to distinguish between the content,title and date for each blog post. I might be able to get the date through regex, but there are so many custom scripts people are using now that the html classes and structure is so different. Does anyone has a solution that may help?

    I am have completed javascript validation of a form using Regular Expressions and am now working on redundant verification server-side using PHP. I have copied this regular expression from my jscript code that finds dollar values, and reformed it to a PHP friendly format: /\$?((\d{1,3}(,\d{3})*)|(\d+))(\.\d{2})?$/ Specifically: if (preg_match("/\$?((\d{1,3}(,\d{3})*)|(\d+))(\.\d{2})?$/", $_POST["cost"])){} While the expression works great in javascript I get : Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 when I run it in PHP. Anyone have a clue why this error is coming up?

The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "I:\My Documents\Flamm Consulting\Migrations.accdb" failed with error code 0xC0209303. There may be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed. Frankly, I'm confused about how SSIS should connect to Access 2007 - the UI just isn't very friendly - there's no file browser, for example. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my install - missing drivers, etc.

    I need to replace several URLs in a text file with some content dependent on the URL itself. Let's say for simplicity it's the first line of the document at the URL. What I'm trying is this: sed "s/^URL=\(.*\)/TITLE=$(curl -s \1 | head -n 1)/" file.txt This doesn't work, since \1 is not set. However, the shell is getting called. Can I somehow push the sed match variables to that subprocess?

There is a numerical field on the form and I would like to sort the results by this number (highest first). How would I go about doing this in jQuery?     I find myself drawn to the Parsing Expression Grammar formalism for describing domain specific languages, but so far the implementation code I've found has been written in languages like Java and Haskell that aren't web server friendly in the shared hosting environment that my organization has to live with. Does anyone know of any PEG libraries or PackRat Parser Generators for Javascript or PHP? Of course code generators in any languages that can produce Javascript or PHP source code would do the trick.
