  • Commercial Java LIB / API to read and write Word 2007 docs

    I need a simple to use / good docs / good support java lib to read and write word documents, namely word 2007 support (and word 2010 support planned). As the project I'm in has budget and time-constraints I don't mind buying a commercial lib :) I know they are XML files in a somewhat open format but I really don't want to waste time understanding the XML specification. Any good recommendations from happy customers? (Right now my choice is going to Aspose.Words for Java)

  • VWD 2008 Express : where can i set absolute positioning as a default?

    So when I used Visual Web Developer 2005 Express edition, in the ribbon there was a menu option for "Layout", which you could go through and select positioning and set absolute to default. I am using Visual Web Developer 2008 Express now, and I see that you can select format from the menu bar, and set position absolute, for each individual control that you add to the design surface, but is there a place I can just set absolute as the default, like in 2005?     I have a table of tags ID tag --- ------ 1 tagt 2 tagb 3 tagz 4 tagn In my items table, I'm using those tags in serialized format, comma delimited ID field1 tags ---- ------ ----- 1 value1 tagt,tagb 2 value2 tagb 3 value3 tagb,tagn 4 value4 When I need to find items that have this tag, I plan to deserialize the tags. But I'm not actually sure how to do it, and if it's better to have a third table for associations instead between the tags and the items.

    I've a table with working_hours time(0), lunch_hours time(0) What I have to do is the following: If lunch_hours is greater that one hour, I have to calculate the offset Example: lounch_hour = 01:30:00 = offset = 00:30:00 Once done I've to subtract the offset from the working_hours value Example: offset = 00:30:00, working_hours = 07:30:00 = working_hours = 07:00:00 The result must be in time(0) format (hh:mm:ss) I've tried several solutions but still not working. Used DATEDIFF probably didn't used in correct way. Thanks for any help Bye!

    We have a C-code project written for a Linux environment but we also want the ability to view and edit the code on Eclipse for Windows and have the headers be resolved. The problem we are facing is that a lot of the headers are included with absolute paths in the Linux format such as: #include /path/to/custom/header.h What I would like to be able to do is have Eclipse CDT map /path/to/custom/ to C:\path\to\custom. Is this possible?

When the hour, minute and AM PM indicator are set and the time is returned how can I identify whether the end-user has selected AM or PM?     Hi all, I was some time ago busy with ExtJS and ajax. I've have some data in csv format that i return. With ExtJS you can use the option isUpload to popup a file "filename.csv" where you can click save / open etc. Now i'm moving all ExtJS to Jquery and i don't seem to find something which handles this in Jquery, there is no option isUpload in ajax with jquery i guess? Does someone knows how to fix this? Thanks in advance
