  • Automatic hyperlink in Excel [closed]

    Hi All, Is it possible to hyperlink a url in excel automatically. I mean when the cell starts with something like http or www can I hyperlink that. Currently, I have to hit enter in the cell value in the formula bar to make the link as clickable. Also if I change the value in the cell, the link doesnt get refreshed until I hit enter. Is there a way in excel where it will automatically detect and apply a hyperlink.

  • Drawing continuously in drawing application

    I was wondering how drawing applications draw the entire time the mouse is down without having empty gaps. What I mean is, for example if the program only drew circles at the mouse's X, y coordinate, then if the mouse went too quicly it would seem like a bunch of little circles rather than a nice continuous line. How can this be done without constantly drawing a short straight line between where the mouse was 0.001 seconds ago and where the mouse now is. Thanks

    Hello, we use in all our pages in the 1st line of our HTML code the: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> We are moving on to the new IE8 and we would like to keep the DOCTYPE unchanged, is there any suggestions/warnings we better be aware of? I mean like: "Be careful that CSS min-width is not working anymore in IE8 transitional, be careful that it will screw up page in this and that, etc." Thanks!

  • IIRF Setup on IIS 5.1

    I'm trying to configure IIRF 2 on IIS 5.1 running on XP Pro, so that I can run the Zend Framework. I've managed to get the filter running on a second website that I setup using one the IIS admin scripts. When I goto iirfStatus I get this: The problem is the .ini path for the site is pointing to c:\windows\system32\Irif.ini rather than the site root. If I try creating an IIS application under IIS-Website Properties-Home Directory then iirfStatus stops working entirely. Any ideas how I can set the ini path correctly, or will I only be able to get away with this on a proper server edition of IIS?

    I am trying to create a WCF client APP that is consuming a JAVA WS that uses username_token with message protection client policy. There is a private key that is installed on the server and a public certificate file was exported from the JKS keystore file. I have installed the public key into certificate store via MMC under Personal certificates. I am trying to create a binding that will encrypt the message and pass the username as part of the payload. I have been researching and trying the different configurations for about a day now.     My linux host connected to SAN with FC interface. It connect with one path, and see some luns, that can't access, because they need anohter path, not available to host. On boot linux probe all lun he can see, get read error on unaccessible luns, and hangs there for a long-long time. Is there a way to disable any access to some luns at boot time, and later? I found a filters for device ignoration for LVM and MULTIPATH, but it not help during boot process. Generally, lvm still affected too despite of filter, and gives me a IO error on every operation like lvdisplay and vgdisplay, but this is another question.

    Hi, I'm using dkim-milter, Postfix on Ubuntu (I think I used these instructions for setting up). Anyway, using the reflectors such as Port25, BlackOps and Altn.com I get passes for DKIM: X-DKIM: OpenDKIM Filter v2.0.1 medusa.blackops.org o2SGTMSg005616 Authentication-Results: medusa.blackops.org; dkim=pass (1024-bit key) [email protected]; dkim-adsp=pass dkim=pass header.d=example.com (b=miSIxi7TMX; 1:0:good); Authentication-Results: verifier.port25.com header.d=example.com; dkim=pass (matches From: [email protected]); Yahoo gives this: Authentication-Results: mta1031.mail.ukl.yahoo.com from=; domainkeys=neutral (no sig); from=example.com; dkim=permerror (key failed) Where, obviously, example.com is my site address. Is anyone aware of anything different with Yahoo! that would stop these from signing? TIA

I noticed however, that writing a regular .properties file in the style of foo=bar fu=baz also works. This would mean a lot less typing (and maybe easier to read and more efficient as well).   • Mail server responds with Error 500 line too long

    I am occasionally receiving error messages from mail servers with the above message. It seems that at least one line in the e-mail has more than 999 characters and therefore the e-mail is bounced. Is this "by design"? in an RFC? Or some weird pseudo-spam-filter? Or just a bad mailserver? I googled around a bit but did not find a competent answer. Hopefully one of you guys can enlighten me.
