• Error while deploying a web application in OSGI container using pax web

  Hello I am trying to deploy a web application in a Felix container. I have all the required configuration done with my web app like the setting up of the manifest headers: Webapp-Context: Bundle-ClassPath: Bundle-Activator: Import-Package: Bundle-SymbolicName: etc The Pax bundles that I have dropped in the same container are: pax-web-service-0.6.0.jar pax-web-jsp-0.7.1.jar pax-web-extender-war-0.7.1.jar pax-logging-service-1.5.0.jar pax-logging-api-1.5.0.jar Though it had been written in the pax web site that pax-web-service is included in pax-war-extender, it seems without pax-web-service bundle, all other bundles become handicapped. I had removed the other pax bundles like pax-web-extender-whiteboard-0.7.1.jar pax-web-jetty-0.7.1.jar, as I have not seen any usefulness of those. The pax-web-jetty-0.7.1.jar even does not get start up. it has dependencies which it could not be able to resolve from any one of the bundle provided by PAX.   I want to reject all connections that don't present a valid SSL/TLS certificate. First of all is the access db file the correct one to be changing? How does, for example, four 320x240 cameras fare against a single 640x480 camera? I'm not well versed in the architecture of the USB interface, what are the performance caveats?   Windows 7, C++, VS2008 I have a COM DLL that needs to be registered using "runas administrator" (it is a legacy app that writes to the registry) The DLL is used by a reports app which instantiates it using CoCreateInstance. This failed unless I also ran the reports app as administrator; until I changed the linker setting from /MANIFESTUAC to /MANIFESTUAC:NO Can anyone tell me why this works? Does it mean that I can write apps that bypass the UAC using this setting?

• Can't configure PAM + LDAP on Debian Lenny - Getting error=49 on server logs

  I've been migrating some servers and desktops using Ubuntu 10.04 from getting the users from an old OpenLDAP implementation to a newer Centos Active Directory. I haven't had any problems so far, until I reached a Debian Lenny server. I've set up the server as the others, setting /etc/ldap.conf and /etc/ldap/ldap.conf. However, when I issue "getent passwd", I get nothing from the LDAP server. Reading the pam_ldap manpage, I realized that /etc/ldap.conf was not an accepted file by pam_ldap -it worked with Ubuntu though-, so I renamed it to /etc/pam_ldap.conf. Same result.   When I pass compiler flag "-mmacosx-version-min=10.5", what does it mean? I think it implies the result binary is x86, not ppc, but is it 32 bits or 64 bits? I'm compiling on snow leopard, so default output binary is 64 bits. I'm not passing -universal, it's not 32bit-64bit universal binary, I think.

The method creates an async task and executes it so the method returns immediately and the state I need to check aren't ready yet. I can set a flag upon finish without modifying the SUT but that would mean I would have to keep checking the flag in a while loop for example, with perhaps timeout. What are my options?

Now I want to map the 2nd IP address to the virtual machine so that it can run as a second dedicated server for me. • Eclipse Pydev Ctrl-Click (Go to Definition) Doesn't Work OSX

  My Pydev set up in OS X is kind of busted. I'm working on a Django project and I find that Ctrl-Click never actually goes to the definitions of any of my objects or functions. I actually have a symlink to Django/django in my workspace so that it's easier to cross reference Django code. My guess is that something is wrong with the builder, but it doesn't throw up any errors. Does anyone have advice here? Different topic: does anyone know of a good way to use Ctrl-Shift-R (Open resource) and filter files by folder? It's not that useful in python projects where you have 20 urls.py showing up.

• Animated transitions for jQuery UI's sortable

  Just out of curiosity, as I haven't been able to find anything anywhere; does anyone know of a way to get jQuery UI's sortable function to animate its sorting? What I mean is, when you move an element around the sortable parent, its children, the sortables, skip around instead of smoothly animating to their new position, which besides from being an eyesore can also make it a bit difficult to figure out what has moved where. There's obviously no default option for this, but I was hoping that perhaps someone, somewhere, had a neat solution.
