  I have a Rails application working on Passenger deployed using Capistrano from a subversion repository. The subversion repository is lost. We just have a folder named "cached-copy" which I believe has been made by svn. Is it possible to recreate a subversion repository from this "cached-copy"?

• How do I get Hudson to stop escaping parts of my shell script?

  I would like to have a shell script that copies some logs from a part of my system to the hudson workspace so I can archive them. So right now I have #!/bin/bash -ex cp /directory/structure/*.log . This is kind enough to be changed to cp '/directory/structure/*.log' . Which of course is not found since I don't have a file named *.log. So how do I get this script to work?

  An Employee has an inverse relationship to it's Department and vice versa. The Employee entity has an Relationship called department, and it has a DENY delete rule. Employee shall be deleted. Now: Does DENY actually deny deletion of employee, because department is still referencing a Department? Or does it mean that a Department can't be deleted because an Employee is referencing it?

I can't get it to view to display my data correctly, the toplevel items are shown but the childnodes are nowhere to be seen. More info: I have a wcf service that delivers a list of Categories with nested subcategories to my viewmodel (I made sure to explicitly include my subcategory data).   I'm trying to drop a constraint on a db table, something like: ALTER TABLE MyTable drop CONSTRAINT FK_MyTable_AnotherTable But the execution just runs and runs. If I stop it I see: Msg 3727, Level 16, State 0, Line 2 Could not drop constraint. See previous errors. Web search throws up various pages but note that the constraint is properly named and I am trying to remove it using the correct name

Please note the way the servers are named. The query should take care of that too. That is, SQL server should not be confused about fully qualified table names. For example - this could confuse SQL server - Data.Old.S1.DB1.dbo.T1.

  Which files are the actual files holding the data in the tables in a mysql db? I went to /var/lib/mysql/ and I can see there a bunch of relatively small directories corresponding to my tables, and a lot of files named servername-bin.0000001 etc. Is the data stored in those files?

  Because of CDI (and its implementation Weld), every POJO in JEE6 can be annotated with @Named, which makes the POJO accessible to the view. Does that mean that ManagedBeans are completely obsolete now? Or do i miss something where @ManagedBean still makes sense?
