  Why do browser vendors make their own css properties, even they know these will not pass the w3c validation? What is the purpose? Is for their own testing, or for web developers, or to demonstrate browser capabilities to the world and to the W3C organizations and to CSS development team of W3C? is it like a beta version of demonstration? if i use any browser specific for now can they remove that property's support from future versions.will i have to edit my css in future For example: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/CSS_Reference/Mozilla_Extensions

  Hi, If I apply a style from the SL 3.0 Toolkit to my application the built in SL 3.0 data validation errors are not displayed on the application edit forms. If I removed the code that applies the toolkit style to the application the SL 3.0 data validation errors appear as per normal SL 3.0 behaviour? Has anyone else come across this problem????? This allows each owner to edit/delete their own content. This method just seems so inefficient, because there is an equivalent amount of ACL rules as content in the database.   We use self signed certificates on our intranet. What do I need to do to get IE8 to accept them without showing an error message to the user? What we did for IE7 apparently isn't working. EDIT: IE7 wouldn't show any errors if I put the certificate into trusted root certification authorities. IE8 seems to show errors even with the certificate there.

• 2 column div layout: right column fixed width, left fluid, height relative to eachother

  I want a layout with two columns, two divs, where the left one has fluid width and the right one has fixed width. So far so good - see jsfiddle below - however, the height of the right column must be in relation to the height of the left column. So that if I have some content in the fluid column and would resize the browser window, thereby increasing or decreasing the height of the left column, the right one should follow and getting the same height.   When I don't edit my .htaccess file, my image path reads something like: http://this.website.com/codeigniter/inc/images/logo.jpg. However, as soon as I add this code into the .htaccess file: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php) RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?$1 [L] (to remove the index.php from the URL), I get 404 error, even with the exact same path. How do I remove index.php and still have access to my images?
