  • is there a way to inject privileged methods after an object is constructed?

    I'm trying to write fully automated unit tests in JavaScript and I'm looking for a way to read some private variables in various JS functions. I thought I recalled a way to inject privileged members into a function/object (and found an overwhelming occurrence of "no such thing as private in JS") and yet I can't find any resources indicating how. I'm trying to read through the properties of .prototype but if there's a way, someone out here would know where to direct me faster than I'd find on my own. Thanks

  • Cancel the calculation if input-mismatch was found

    Hallo everybody, i have programmed a sub procedure, that will be called in the main procedure (called by event of mainForm), to valid the inputs before the main calculation. now i'm searching for a method, how can i cancel the calculation and refocus the mainForm if some inputs mismatch. i think, it's unnecessary to use the Try-Catch statment to trap the error from calculation because i know what is its source and it should be prevented due to the code preformance.     hey guys, someone already helped me solving the following problem: i wanted to iterate with my up and down arrows through list-items. http://jsfiddle.net/zBjrS/1/ in this example i only had one UL and wanted to navigate through its list-items. meannwhile i have multiple ul's underneath each other and want to navigate seemlessly through all of them as if there were only one UL. http://jsfiddle.net/zBjrS/2/ any idea how i could do that? thank you

    I was looking for a tool that can convert C code expressions for the form: a = (A) ? B : C; into the 'default' syntax with if/else statements: if (A) a = B else a = C Does someone know a tool that's capable to do such a transformation? I work with GCC 4.4.2 and create a preprocessed file with -E but do not want such structures in it.

I want that if someone click on hyperlink inside the accordion , then that accordion should slide up slowly and only after that the nect accordion falls down or open $(".accord").live('click', function(){ $('#rr1').next().slideUp('slow'); $('#rr3').next().slideDown('slow'); But i have seen that the other accordion starts opening up at the same time when the other is closing.   • Does Math.Sqrt cache its own results?

    Someone has suggested to me that the built in C# Math.Sqrt function in .NET 4.0 caches its results, so that if I call Math.Sqrt(50) over and over again, it's not actually doing a sqrt, but just pulling the answer from a cache. Can anyone verify or deny this claim? If it's true then I have a bunch of needless caching going on in my code.

  • node.js: encrypting data that needs to be decrypted?

    We are using bcrypt for passwords and data that never needs to be decrypted. What should do to protect other user information that does. For this example lets say that we didn't want a users real name to be in plain text in case someone was to obtain the db. This is somewhat sensitive data but also needs to be called from time to time and displayed in plain text. Is there a simple way to do this?
