  Hi Guys, I have PEAR, MDB2 and Mysql Driver installed however I keep getting: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: MDB2_Driver_mysql::_isNewLinkSet(). in /home/**/PEAR/MDB2.php on line 1937. The Server is CentOS I am stuck, any help would be appriciated. Thanks :)

  When I attempt to compile the output of this trivial lex program: # lex.l integer printf("found keyword INT"); using: $ gcc lex.yy.c I get: Undefined symbols: "_yywrap", referenced from: _yylex in ccMsRtp7.o _input in ccMsRtp7.o "_main", referenced from: start in crt1.10.6.o ld: symbol(s) not found collect2: ld returned 1 exit status lex --version tells me I'm actually using 'flex 2.5.35' although ls -fla `which lex` isn't a symlink. Any ideas why the output won't compile?

  Values are received through a jQuery AJAX callback, but I've been unsuccessful getting at the values. Here's the ajax call: $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "ajax/ax_all_ajax_fns.php", data: 'request=edit_timecard_entry&staff_id='+staff_id+'&tid='+tid, success: function(data){ alert(data); } } Here's the code sent out by ax_all_ajax_fns.php: $staff_id = $_POST['staff_id']; $t_id = $_POST['tid']; $rCard = mysql_query("SELECT `staff_id`, `date`, `project_id`, `project_num`, `task_desc`, `hours` FROM `timecards` WHERE `t_id`='$t_id'"); $aCard = mysql_fetch_assoc($rCard); print_r($aCard); // echo $aCard; Of course, I don't want the information print_r'd, I want it echoed. The print_r was used to demonstrate that the correct data was sent out by the PHP script, and it is echoed successfully in the alert() box in the success function. So the correct data is being returned, and (if correctly formatted) it is viewable. The data returned in this way looks like this in the alert() popup: Array ( [staff_id] => 51 [date] => 2012-10-18 [project_id] => 0 [project_num => 49 [task_desk] => This is a task [hours] => 3.30 ) But when I use echo to output the $aCard array and then try to break it down inside the success function of the ajax call, I can't figure out how to get at the values. My attempts have consistently returned values of "undefined". In the success function, in place of alert(data);, I've tried this: var tce_staff_id = data['staff_id']; alert(tce_staff_id); and this: var tce_staff_id = data.staff_id; alert(tce_staff_id); What am I missing? UPDATE: Thanks to Martin S. for information re json_encode() PHP instruction. I've modified the ajax script as follows: echo json_encode($aCard); I now get THIS result from alert(data); in the success function: {"staff_id":"51","date":"2012-10-18","project_id":"0","project_num":"49","task_desc":"This is a task","hours":"3.30"} However, the following returns "undefined": alert(data.staff_id); alert(data[0].staff_id); var test = data.staff_id; alert(test); Can anyone see what I'm missing? All above code comes immediately after alert(data) inside the success callback of the ajax function. alert(data) DOES work and displays the desired data, as above.

• Active Mailer doesn't have the application helpers when used with delayed_job v.2

  So if I try sending an email with action mailer directly, I can use all application helpers like url_for, content_for etc, but when I try to do the exact same action [sending email] with delayed_job [send_later] I getting a delayed job fail, of undefined function content_for etc, so it is like no helpers are loaded in my ActionMailer. I am using rails 2.3.8, active_mailer 2.3.8 and delayed_job 2.0.3 Thanks!!

This is quite easy if the number is non-negative, then it's just a % n (where a is the non-negative integer). However when a is negative, it appears the behaviour, in C89, is undefined. I.e. -2 % 11 = -2 or 9. Thanks.

  I created a web application in which one .aspx page calls an AJAX-enabled WCF service (created with Visual Studio 2008 Add New Item - AJAX-enabled WCF Service). when I test the application in Visual Studio, it works and the page can call the service from Javascript but when I "publish" (code precompilation using Visual Studio) it to the local IIS Server, I get an error : "service ThunServ is undefined" in my .html page.   I'm trying to call a webservice (implemented with a .NET/ASP system) from groovy/grails using WSClient. I have no trouble accessing this service using the SOAPClient debugger (Todd Ditchendorf's program for OSX), but when i try it via groovy/grails, I get the error undefined simple or complex type 'soapenc:Array' Is there any solution? Looking at it with wireshark: It seems to have thrown this error even before it gets a chance to perform the transaction. The error is thrown right after WSClient has downloaded the second of two schemas referenced in he WSDL.
