    I use the jquery plugin "uploadify" to upload multiple files to My App(GAE), and then save them with blobstore, but it failed. I debug the code into get_uploads, it seems field.type_options is empty and of course has 'blob-key'. Q: where does the key 'blob-key' come from? thank you!

    Hi, I am using the below js code in order to change the class when a link is clicked. document.getElementById("gifts").setAttribute("class", "gkvSprite selected"); This is not working in IE but it does in FF and Chrome Then I changed the code to : document.getElementById("gifts").setAttribute("className", "gkvSprite selected"); Then it worked in IE stopped working in FF and Chrome.     Firstly, I am not at all familiar with windows batch file programing. Recently I am curious about how tomcat sets itself as a windows service using a batch file. I downloaded the service.bat file from tomcat 6. However, I still don't understand some part of it. I guess this is the line that the batch actually register the exe file to the OS, is it right? Is there any syntax explanation?     I started by creating a universal window based app. Starting with the iPhone version I created a UIViewController and associated nib. My App delegate: rootViewController = [[RootViewController alloc] initWithNibName:nil bundle:nil]; [window makeKeyAndVisible]; [window addSubview:rootViewController.view]; return YES; My RootViewController: - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; adBannerView = [[ADBannerView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectZero]; [self.view addSubview:adBannerView]; } I've tried instanciating buttons instead of the adBanner and I get the same result. My RootViewController's nib has not been changed since x-code created it for me. My MainWindow_iPhone.xib also is stock. What's causing this?

    How do I write the following in MYSQL? SELECT SUBSTRING(value - (1 TRAILING CHARACTER)) FROM table; Basically substring(value, 2) trims the first letters. But I need to trim the last letters. I can't use substring(value, -4, 3) because I don't know the length of the value. If it’s not on your path, ... For Windows users, who do not have symlinking functionality available, you can copy django-admin.py to a location on your existing path or edit the PATH settings (under Settings - Control Panel - System - Advanced - Environment...) to point to its installed location. I checked ComputerpropertiesEnvironment Variables, but path to django-admin.py is not in anywhere. So I added C:\Python25\Lib\site-packages\django\bin which is the folder of django-admin.py in User variables for shin Variable PATH, Value C:\Program Files\Google\google_appengine\;C:\Python25\Lib\site-packages\django\bin\ Am I supposed to add to System variables?? But it still does not work. Could anyone tell me how to add the Path in Environment Variables please? Thanks in advance.

    I've successfully completed light weight migration on my core data model. My custom entity Vehicle received a new property 'tirePressure' which is an optional property of type double with the default value 0.00. When 'old' Vehicles are fetched from the store (Vehicles that were created before the migration took place) the value for their 'tirePressure' property is nil. (Is that expected behavior?) So I thought: "No problem, I'll just do this in the Vehicle class:" - (void)awakeFromFetch { [super awakeFromFetch]; if (nil == self.tirePressure) { [self willChangeValueForKey:@"tirePressure"]; self.tirePressure = [NSNumber numberWithDouble:0.0]; [self didChangeValueForKey:@"tirePressure"]; } } Since "change processing is explicitly disabled around" awakeFromFetch I thought the calls to willChangeValueForKey and didChangeValueForKey would mark 'tirePresure' as dirty. But they don't. Every time these Vehicles are fetched from the store 'tirePressure' continues to be nil despite having saved the context.

    Hi? I have three columns, y, m, and d (year, month, and day) and want to store this as a date. What function would I use on mySQL to do this? Apparently makedate uses year and day of year (see below), but I have month. I know I can use STR_TO_DATE(str,format), by constructing the string from (y,m,d), but I would guess there is an easier way to do it. REFERENCES MAKEDATE(year,dayofyear) Returns a date, given year and day-of-year values. dayofyear must be greater than 0 or the result is NULL.

  • Is there a declarative way to force a set of Buttons to be the same size?

    I'm writing a form in XAML that has multiple buttons with content of different sizes (ie "OK" and "Save As...") Ideally, I'd like them all to be the smallest size possible to hold the largest content. In the example above, both buttons would be the width necessary to hold "Save As..." plus the margins and padding. If they were Grid cells, I could use a SizeGroup. Is there a similar declaration for Buttons?

    My WndProc isn't seeing mouse-up notifications when I click with a modifier key (shift or control) pressed. I see them without the modifier key, and I see mouse-down notifications with the modifier keys. I'm trying to track user actions in a component I didn't write, so I'm using the Windows Forms NativeWindow wrapper (wrapping the component) to get Windows messages from the WndProc() method. I've tried tracking the notifications I do get, and I the only clue I see is WM_CAPTURECHANGED. I've tried calling SetCapture when I receive the WM_LBUTTONDOWN message, but it doesn't help. Without modifier (skipping paint, timer and NCHITTEST messages): WM_PARENTNOTIFY WM_MOUSEACTIVATE WM_MOUSEACTIVATE WM_SETCURSOR WM_LBUTTONDOWN WM_SETCURSOR WM_MOUSEMOVE WM_SETCURSOR WM_LBUTTONUP With modifier (skipping paint, timer and NCHITTEST messages): WM_KEYDOWN WM_PARENTNOTIFY WM_MOUSEACTIVATE WM_MOUSEACTIVATE WM_SETCURSOR WM_LBUTTONDOWN WM_SETCURSOR (repeats) WM_KEYDOWN (repeats) WM_KEYUP If I hold the mouse button down for a long time, I can usually get a WM_LBUTTONUP notification, but it should be possible to make it more responsive.. Edit: I've tried control-clicking outside of the component of interest and moving the cursor into it before releasing the mouse button, and then I do get a WM_LBUTTONUP notification, so it looks like the component is capturing the mouse on mouse-down. Is there any way to receive that notification when another window has captured the mouse? Thanks.
