    Hello, I have created a drop down with JQuery that can be seen here by clicking the Preview button on top: http://jsbin.com/ubire3/edit It works fine except for one problem. When i hover over the main hover links (blue ones) quickly eg going horizontally quickly hovering each top menu, the some submenus don't close. How do i make it so that even if i hover fast over them all other submenus are closed? Thanks.

    I want to style the :active state of a button that is represented by an . The tag has an inner (beacuse I want to add an icon to this button). I notice the :active state is triggered properly in everything but Internet Explorer. In IE, it appears that the area around the (the 's padding) triggers that :active state, but when clicking directly on the text within the , the :active state is not triggered. Is there a way to fix this without resorting to Javascript?

  • How do I make an iframe 100% height of a containing div in Firefox?

    I'm having some trouble figuring out how to extend an iframe to 100% of it's container element in Firefox and IE (it works fine in Chrome). From searching around, it makes sense that there has to be a width specified on the containing div (and possibly body and html as well). However, I have done that, and the iframe is still not extending. Do all of the parent divs have to have a specified width and position for this to work, or just the containing parent? Any fix for this would be greatly appreciated!   • IE 6 dropdown selection area too narrow

    Hi, I have a dropdown menu with the width set to 142px however the selection area when you drop down the menu needs to be larger as it has text that exceeds this width. Firefox (and most modern browsers) is clever and extends the selection area to fit in this text. However IE 6 and unchecked newer versions of IE do not show this text and keep the selection area the same width as the dropdown unclicked. The problem lies here, how can I get IE to extend the selection area where you click the selection you want without increasing the width of the dropdown area with out the dropdown selection showing.     Hi there, I'm creating a set of input fields and using javascript's .style.backgroundColor = "red" to change the colour of any invalid fields. In Chrome, there is no problem. However, in Firefox, as soon as I touch the backgroundColor (even if I set it to white) then I get these strange shadow effects.   • How to float span properly

    I am developing this site http://indigonightlife.com/ The second section down is This Weeks Events. To the right of that heading is an image of the 5 little blue lines. The problem Im having is I cant get it to float to the right side of the container. As it is now, its in the middle of the container. Ive tried all kinds of combos of floats, clearfixes, and such but I cant get it to stay to the right. The section below titled Resident and Guest DJs has the same image but its floated fine. Not sure what the difference is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
