• Where to find Python CouchDB tutorials?

  I've been hunting around for a Python CouchDB tutorial and haven't been able to find anything very thorough. The only thing I've really found is this site, which I haven't gotten to work because I keep getting a 'connection refused' error when I try to create a database. Does anyone know where I would look for a tutorial to help me with this?

• Facebook Connect: Redirect to FB login page instead of popup

  I'm just starting of to get Facebook connect to work. One thing that really bugs me, is that when I click the FB login button, it opens up a popup. I would much more prefer to have the user redirected to FB, where he can login and be sent back to my site. (Just like openid login works here at SO) I can't find anything in the docs, although I have the feeling I'm not looking in the right place: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/javascript/fb.api/

• How to skip a statement in Eclipse during debugging

  Is it possible to skip a statement in Eclipse while debugging? Suppose the process stopped at breakpoint and I want to skip the breakpoint line ( or maybe a few lines below), can I do it? On the debug tab, it only has "Step into", "Step over" and "Step return" buttons. I did google around but couldn't find anything, hopefully I can find an answer here.

• How can I acquire an aggregated list of known proxy IP addresses?

  I'd like to use this to help maintain a good defence against people trying to skirt the rules of my system. I've found TOR endpoints, nothing that's readily available to be shot into a script (needs to be parsed) but they work. However I need a list which goes beyond TOR yet I cannot find anything conclusive just yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

• Why can't I make my parameter like this?

  - (void)setPropertyValue:(const *void)inValue forID:(UInt32)propertyID { } The compiler doesn't like the const *void, for some reason. When I have that, it says: error: expected ')' before 'void' When I make the parameter like (UInt32)foo there is no problem. Does const *void only work in functions? I need a parameter which can be a "pointer to anything" like UInt32, Float64, etc.

Is there now "NEXT" syntax, something like: git diff 1a2e^..NEXT OR git changeset 1a2e ?? Another "next" syntax which might be useful if 1a2e is a known revision: git cherry-pick 1a2e+NEXT..origin/featureBranch ^^ "cherry pick anything from 1a2e to master EXCEPT 1a2e itself"

• Android: how to obtain AssetManager without reference to Context?

  I have a Class that needs to obtain a reference to it's application's AssetManager. This class does not extend any sort of android UI class, so it doesn't have a getContext() method, or anything similar. Is there some sort of static Context.getCurrentApplicationContext() type of method? To clarify: my class is intended to be used like a library, for other applications. It has no associated AndroidManifest.xml or control over the context which is calling it.

  I came upon a comment on another forum today and one user responding to another suggested that a CS degree is really only good for one through two years at the most, and after that its as if you never had it. Is this really true? is this what employers think? When I did CS I never learned anything new, we learned fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, time complexity, OS fundamentals, language characteristics. Most of this stuff has been around for the past 20 years or so.

  If I'm looking to sell my app in other markets other than the U.S. on both Android and iOS, do I need to do anything inside the app coding-wise? I don't imagine that I need to but I just want to make sure. Also, while I'm at it, how do I collect on international app purchases considering they are in another currency?   Is there any field/option/anything that I can put in a TCP packet (be it a syn or an ack or just plain data) that I can be sure will be returned by the other end intact? For eg. I want to "tag" a particular connection (src, srcport, dst, dstport) with a number that I can always read from a packet belonging to that connection. That means I can identify the connection without using the 4-tuple (as given above).

Does anybody know how can I do this in Linux?
