How to use multifieldquery and filters in Lucene.net

I want to perform a multi field search on a lucene.net index but filter the results based on one of the fields. Here's what I'm currently doing: To index the fields the definitions are: doc.Add(new Field("id", id.ToString(), Field.Store.YES, Field.Index.UN_TOKENIZED)); doc.Add(new Field("title", title, Field.Store.NO, Field.Index.TOKENIZED)); doc.Add(new Field("summary", summary, Field.Store.NO, Field.Index.TOKENIZED, Field.TermVector.YES)); doc.Add(new Field("description", description, Field.Store.NO, Field.Index.TOKENIZED, Field.TermVector.YES)); doc.Add(new Field("distribution", distribution, Field.Store.NO, Field.Index.UN_TOKENIZED)); When I perform the search I do the following: MultiFieldQueryParser parser = new MultiFieldQueryParser(new string[]{"title", "summary", "description"}, analyzer); parser.SetDefaultOperator(QueryParser.Operator.AND); Query query = parser.Parse(text); BooleanQuery bq = new BooleanQuery(); TermQuery tq = new TermQuery(new Term("distribution", distribution)); bq.Add(tq, BooleanClause.Occur.MUST); Filter filter = new QueryFilter(bq); Hits hits = searcher.Search(query, filter); However, the result is always 0 hits. What am I doing wrong?

Problem with document.location.href

Hello, I am new to Javascript and Web development and I have a question regarding the document.location.href. I am using a cookie for storing the language the user prefers and then load the english or the swedish version depending on the language. The default language in the beginning is the same as the browser's language, and my index.jsp is the swedish one. The first time everything works fine. The problem is when the cookie exists already. The basic code is: if (language!=null && language!=""){ if (language=="en-US" || language=="en-us") document.location.href = "en/index.jsp"; } else{ //Explorer if (navigator.userLanguage) language = navigator.userLanguage; //other browsers else language = (navigator.language) ? navigator.language : navigator.userLanguage; if (language!=null && language!=""){ setCookie('language', language, 365, '/', 'onCheck'); if (language=="en-US" || language=="en-us") document.location.href = "en/index.jsp"; else if(language=="sv") document.location.href="index.jsp"; } } When the cookie exists we enter the first "if", and there, if the language is swedish it opens the default blabla/index.jsp page. When the language is set to engish it should open the blabla/en/index.jsp but instead it opens the blabla/en/en/index.jsp which of course is wrong. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?? Thanks

Background: Our company selected a workflow tool that has some "interersting" UI restrictions. jqGrid has been identified as one of best ways to overcome these restrictions. Consequently, the answers to this question need to be restricted to functionlity available within the jqGrid space. It pains me to pose this question and I know you will tempted to go down a million other paths - most that we have already traveled before. :( Question: Can jqGrid populate a column as a result of performing math on two other columns. The source of those two columns is in our control so we can "guarantee" that numeric data will be returned. Also, the result is something that we simplay want to display on demand but not store yet. Drawing and filling different polygons at the same time in MATLAB

Hi,I have the code below. It load a CSV file into memory. This file contains the coordinates for different polygons.Each row of this file has X,Y coordinates and a string which tells that to which polygon this datapoint belongs. for example a polygone named "Poly1" with 100 data points has 100 rows in this file like : Poly1,X1,Y1 Poly1,X2,Y2 ... Poly1,X100,Y100 Poly2,X1,Y1 ..... The index.csv file has the number of datapoint(number of rows) for each polygon in file Polygons.csv. These details are not important. The thing is: I can successfully extract the datapoints for each polygon using the code below. However, When I plot the lines of different polygons are connected to each other and the plot looks crappy. I need the polygons to be separated(they are connected and overlapping the some areas though). I thought by using "fill" I can actually see them better. But "fill" just filles every polygon that it can find and that is not desirable. I only want to fill inside the polygons. Can someone help me? I can also send you my datapoint if necessary, they are less than 200Kb. I want to find the first set of integers in an array X that the sum equals a given number N. How to get acts on taggable working

I am new to ruby on rails (and programming) and this is probably a really stupid question. I am using Rails 3.2 and trying to use acts_as_taggable_on to generate tags on articles and to have those tags show on article index and show pages as a clickable links. I have tags clickable on both the article show and index pages, but the links just go back to the index page and don't sort according to the tag name. I have scoured the Internet and pieced together the code below from various sources, but I am clearly missing something. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I have exhausted my seemingly limited knowledge! Thanks. Javascript to check if there is flash player installed and redirect to the neededn page.

Hi. I have this script. This determines if there is a flash player installed in the browser, it redirects the browser to a flash website. if not, then it opens a non-flash website. The Code is here: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">  </SCRIPT> What i want is to embed this code in the non-flash index page. it should just check if there is no flash then simply go with the current index file that already has been opened, or if there is no flash player, then load the index file from within the flash website. Currently, when index.html (non-flash) is opened, it goes into loop and keeps on checking for the flash player. Can I modify the window.location='index.html'; statement no to load any file here, just go on with the file already opened.??

C++, using one byte to store two variables

(That way only 4 bits are needed per piece) Doing it in that way, results in a overhead for accessing particular index of the board. PHP Session doesn't get read in next page after login validation, Why?

Can anyone tell me why the session cant pass values from verify.php to /memberarea/index.php

All computer stores in India sell Enter USB TV Box if you ask for an USB TV tuner. No other brand seems to be interested in this market. Update 3 I learned that this TV tuner is rebranded version of Gadmei UTV302 (USB TV Tuner Box). Update 4 I tried adding em28xx as the chipset (as suggested by user BOBBO below) for the tuner but that did not work. I went back to my Pinnacle PCTV internal card. I don't think the tuner referred by UbuntuForums (Gadmei UTV 330) and the tuner that I have (Gadmei UTV 302) are the same. My USB tuner is several times bigger. My tuner seems to be a newer device with a newer tuner chip. I will submit details of this device to the LinuxTV developers this weekend. Update 5 I opened the tuner box and found that it uses a tuner from a Chinese company - Tenas. Model is TNF 8022-DFA. Update 6 Tuner chip specs (retrived from supplier directory) for Tenas TNF 8022-DFA. Supply voltage: true 5V device(low power dissipation) Control system: I2C bus control of tuning, address selection Tuning system: PLL controlled tuning Receiving system: system PAL D/K,IF(Intermediate Frequency): 38MHz Receiving channels: full frequency range from channel DS1 (49.75MHz) to channel DS57 (863.25MHz); Use Texas Instruments SN761678 IC solution, with mini install size Update 7 Reverse side of the circuit board. Configure Jenkins and Tomcat using Puppet on Vagrant

I'm playing with setting up my first Spring + jenkins + Tomcat CI dev environment. For now it's just a test/fun phase, but in the near future I'll be starting new project with my coworkers. That's the reason that I want development environment virtualized and exactly te same on every development machine, as well as on production server. I choosen to use Vagrant and to try to write puppet scripts that not only install everything, but also configure everything so each of us will have the same jenkins plugins, same jenkins and tomcat login and password, and literally after calling vagrant up we are ready to work. What I managed to do so far is installation of stuff needed and port forwarding. How to update model in the database, from asp.net MVC2, using Entity Framework?

Hello. I'm building ASP.NET MVC2 application, and using Entity Framework as ORM. I am having troubles updating object in the database. Every time I try entity.SaveChanges(), EF inserts new line in the table, regardless of do I want update, or insert to be done. I tried attaching (like in this next example) object to entity, but then I got {"An object with a null EntityKey value cannot be attached to an object context."} Here's my simple function for inserts and updates (it's not really about vehicles, but it's simpler to explain like this, although I don't think that this effects answers at all)... public static void InsertOrUpdateCar(this Vehicles entity, Cars car) { if (car.Id == 0 || car.Id == null) { entity.Cars.AddObject(car); } else { entity.Attach(car); } entitet.SaveChanges(); } I even tried using AttachTo("Cars", car), but I got the same exception.
