  • UITextField with numbers and default keyboard

    Created a UITextField for "Postal Code/ZIP" field with a keyboardType of UIKeyboardTypeDefault. I would like to use the default keyboard but want the numbers & symbols to be shown by default as apposed to letters. Apple does this when you are entering addresses in the Contacts.app. Anyone know how to get this accomplished?

    Hello, I have a strange problem which I can't fix: A field: private boolean[][][] gaps; Constructor (1st line): gaps = new boolean[NOBARRICADES][WIDTH][HEIGHT]; Constructor (2nd line): for (int i = 0; i < NOBARRICADES; i++) { JAVA throws an error for the 2nd line, saying: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException Does it have anything to do with JAVA syntax (the mistake is in these lines of code) or I should look for the problem somewhere else?

    I'm trying to pass in both the field and the value in a find call: @employee = Employee.find(:all, :conditions => [ '? = ?', params[:key], params[:value].to_i) The output is SELECT * FROM `employees` WHERE ('is_manager' = 1) Which returns no results, however when I try this directly in mysqsl using the same call without the '' around is_manager, it works fine.     Using the autocomplete field for a cck nodereference always displays the node id as a cryptic bracketed extension: Page Title [nid:23] I understand that this ensures that selections are unique in case nodes have the same title, but obviously this is a nasty thing to expose to the user. Has anyone had any success in removing these brackets, or adding a different unique identifier?

    Hi, in C if I have a printf statement containing say "%.2f", it says that the precision is 2 digits after the decimal place. I haven't explicitly specify the width. I have two questions: Is this good programming practice?; Is without specifying the width means that the width of the field will get adjusted automatically when printing the number, irrespective of the number of digits it contains?
