  Supposed I register many different function names in Lua to the same function in C. How can I give these dynamically create mc's a name or custom property? ideally I would like to use a custom property called portfolio.id but would use the name property or another default property if it works.

  Hello, I've been tryin to find an example of the syntax for getting an html 'title' for a string when using Html.Encode(). I want to display the full name in the mouseover title, if it's too long. Is there a way to do this without wrapping the string in a < span , i.e. <span title = "<%=Html.Encode(model.Name) %>"> //displays the full name on mouseover <%=Html.Encode(model.Name.Substring(0, 10))%>... //displays the name up to a max length </span> Or should I just do it this way?   hi guys, I have a listview which displays (eventually) an album cover of an itunes play list with the album name under it. the problem I am having is that I cannot get the album art (currently a blank square) ABOVE the album name. It always is on the side... how do I do it?   I need to replace ${conferance name} with ABC, ${conference day} with Monday in the following sentence. • Objective-C Custom extend

  I have a couple classes that have nearly identical code. Only a string or two is different between them. What I would like to do is to make them from another class that defines those functions and then uses constants or something else to define those strings that are different. I'm not sure if "___" is inheritance or extending or what. That is what I need help with. For example: objectA.m: -(void)helloWorld { NSLog("Hello %@",child.name); } objectBob.m: #define name @"Bob" objectJoe.m #define name @"Joe" (I'm not sure if it's legal to define strings, but this gets the point across) It would be ideal if objectBob.m and objectJoe.m didn't have to even define the methods, just their relationship to objectA.m. Is there any way to do something like this? If all else fails I'll just make objectA.m: -(void)helloWorld:(NSString *name) { NSLog("Hello %@",name); } And have the other files call that function (and just #import objectA.m).

  Hi everyone, I've been hunting for an answer to this on South's site, google, and SO, but couldn't find a simple way to do this. I want to rename a Django model using South. Say you have the following: class Foo(models.Model): name = models.CharField() class FooTwo(models.Model): name = models.CharField() foo = models.ForeignKey(Foo) and you want to convert Foo to Bar, namely class Bar(models.Model): name = models.CharField() class FooTwo(models.Model): name = models.CharField() foo = models.ForeignKey(Bar) To keep it simple, I'm just trying to change the name from Foo to Bar, but ignore the 'foo' member in FooTwo for now. What's the easiest way to do this using South? a) I could probably do a data migration, but that seems pretty involved. b) Write a custom migration, e.g. db.rename_table('city_citystate', 'geo_citystate'), but I'm not sure how to fix the foreign key in this case. c) An easier way that you know? It seems that there's no way to assign a "name" property on a function in Webkit browsers. Do you know why? But the most important thing is, do you know a workaround for that?

  I am geocoding a large amount of user entered addresses and interested in the accuracy levels returned. My GOAL is to get the BEST POSSIBLE ACCURACY score for a given address. I call the geocder api following way http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q={address}&output=csv&sensor=false&key=xx now the accuracy levels returned for same address with/without premise name q = Key Arena, 305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109 (Accuracy is 5) q = 305 Harrison Street Seattle, WA 98109 (Accuracy is 8) q = Key Arena, Seattle, WA 98109 (Accuracy is 9.) Its obvious from the above that the google servers does not return the best accuracy when street name is appended with premise/venue. the question is :) is there a way to pass the complete address ( with premise name / i.e case 1 ) and get the Max Accuracy. ( or how can tell the google server that the address is passed with premise/building name and street name) ( if you are thinking why not just use case 3, the answer is these are user entered addresses, they could enter "my moms's house" for premise, with accurate street address. in which case i want the accuracy to be 8 not 5)

• WCF Service error received when using TCP: "The message could not be dispatched..."

  I am new to creating WCF services. I have created a WCF web service in VS2008 that is running on IIS 7. When I use http the service works perfectly. When I configure the service for TCP and run I get the following error message. There was a communication problem. The message could not be dispatched because the service at the endpoint address 'net:tcp://elec:9090/CoordinateIdTool_Tcp/IdToolService.svc is unavailable for the protocol of the address. I have searched a lot of forums, including this one, for a resolution but nothing has worked. Everything appears to be set up correctly on IIS 7. WAS has been set up to run. The default web site has a net.tcp binding and the application has net.tcp under the enabled protocols. I am including what I think is the important part of the web.config from the host project and also the app.config from the client project I am using to test the service. Hopefully someone can spot my error. Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations that anyone can provide. However a situation arose where I need to change a value of one of the items (e.g. change the ishidden property to true for gid: 28) and then run some other jQuery function against it. Is this possible? or do I have to re-build the whole object ? If possible, how can I achieve this? any help would be appreciated!

But the Number property of the Address object inside the Contact object does not binds. What I'm doing wrong ?

• Lucene Analyzer to Use With Special Characters and Punctuation?

  I have a Lucene index that has several documents in it. Each document has multiple fields such as: Id Project Name Description The Id field will be a unique identifier such as a GUID, Project is a user's ProjectID and a user can only view documents for their project, and Name and Description contain text that can have special characters. When a user performs a search on the Name field, I want to be able to attempt to match the best I can such as: First Will return both: First.Last and First.Middle.Last Name can also be something like: Test (NameTest) Where, if a user types in 'Test', 'Name', or '(NameTest)', then they can find the result. However, if I say that Project is 'ProjectA' then that needs to be an exact match (case insensitive search). The same goes with the Id field. Which fields should I set up as Tokenized and which as Untokenized? Also, is there a good Analyzer I should consider to make this happen? I am stuck trying to decide the best route to implement the desired searching.

I'm using this function to extract files from .zip archive and store it on the server: def unzip_file_into_dir(file, dir): import sys, zipfile, os, os.path os.makedirs(dir, 0777) zfobj = zipfile.ZipFile(file) for name in zfobj.namelist(): if name.endswith('/'): os.mkdir(os.path.join(dir, name)) else: outfile = open(os.path.join(dir, name), 'wb') outfile.write(zfobj.read(name)) outfile.close() And the usage: unzip_file_into_dir('/var/zips/somearchive.zip', '/var/www/extracted_zip') somearchive.zip have this structure: somearchive.zip 1.jpeg 2.jpeg another.jpeg or, somethimes, this one: somearchive.zip somedir/ 1.jpeg 2.jpeg another.jpeg Question is: how do I modify my function, so that my extracted_zip catalog would always contain just images, not images in another subdirectory, even if images are stored in somedir inside an archive.

  I am using the following tables in mysql to describe records that can have multiple searchtags associated with them: TABLE records ID title desc TABLE searchTags ID name TABLE recordSearchTags recordID searchTagID To SELECT records based on arbitrary search input, I have a statement that looks sort of like this: SELECT recordID FROM recordSearchTags LEFT JOIN searchTags ON recordSearchTags.searchTagID = searchTags.ID WHERE searchTags.name LIKE CONCAT('%','$search1','%') OR searchTags.name LIKE CONCAT('%','$search2','%') OR searchTags.name LIKE CONCAT('%','$search3','%') OR searchTags.name LIKE CONCAT('%','$search4','%'); I'd like to ORDER this resultset, so that rows that match with more search terms are displayed in front of rows that match with fewer search terms. For example, if a row matches all 4 search terms, it will be top of the list. A row that matches only 2 search terms will be somewhere in the middle. And a row that matches just one search term will be at the end. Any suggestions on what is the best way to do this? Thanks!

I am quite new to queries (didn't need them in my projects yet). But as C# and WPF allow some pretty cool automation with Binding I would like to add a binding that returns the following: Give me all articles that are of Type 1 and compatible to my selected article (id=1). The simple part of it works well (articles has a list of all articles): private ObservableCollection<Article> _articles = new ObservableCollection<Article>(); [fill it with the available articles] and then: comboBoxArticles.ItemsSource = _articles.AsBindable().Where( c => c.Typ == 0 ); How can I extend the Where clause to query another table?
