  I try to use ComboxBoxTableCell without success. The content of the cell display the right value for the attribute of an object. But when the combobox is displayed, all items are displayed with the toString object method and not the attribute.   I have a class that contains an enum property, and upon serializing the object using JavaScriptSerializer, my json result contains the integer value of the enumeration rather than its string "name". Is there a way to get the enum as a string in my json without having to create a custom JavaScriptConverter? Perhaps there's an attribute that I could decorate the enum definition, or object property, with?   I have a HUGE problem. We just converted our large project to a Visual Studio 2010 solution, but maintained .Net 3.5 targets. This seemed to go swimmingly, almost too easy. Today I just encountered a huge problem. When we add a new asp.net tag to a page the designer class is not being updated. I looked around and noticed that the type specified in the Page's Inherits attribute was underlined in red. Hovering over that gives the error "must be convertible to System.Web.UI.Page". Obviously the designer isn't casting the page correctly and it's because we are using a custom base page, just as we had been with no problems in VS 2008. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, what's the solution. This is a show-stopper for us to use VS 2010 (and lots of egg on our faces for moving to it in the first place).

  On my website I want the user to have the ability to login/logout from any page. When the user select login button a modal dialog will be present to the user for him to enter in his credentials. Since login will be on every page, I thought I would create a partial view for the login and add it to the layout page. But when I did this I got the following error: Exception Details: System.InvalidOperationException: Duration must be a positive number. There are other ways to work around this that would not using partial views, but I believe this should work. • Accessing Instance Attributes from Secondary Thread (iPhone-SDK)

  I have a class with an NSDictionary attribute. Inside this class I dispatch another thread to handle NSXMLParser handling. Inside my -didStartElement, I access the dictionary in the class (to compare an element found in the XML to one in the dictionary). At this point I get undefined results. Using NSLog (I'm not advanced in XCode debugging), I see that it bombs around access of the NSDictionary. I tried just iterating the dictionary and dumping the key/values inside the didStartElement and this bombs at different keys each time. The only thing I can conclude is that something is not kosher that I'm doing with regards to accessing main thread attributes from the secondary thread. I'm somewhat new to multithreading and am not sure what the best protocol is safely access attributes from additional threads. Thanks all.

I've tried all the 'logical' separators (space, comma, semi-colon, pipe-symbol), but this doesn't work. Has someone else come across this problem? Solutions that don't work: Trying to add a DefineConstants element does not work because DefineConstants needs to be expressed within the Properties attribute.

• Telerik RadEditor filestream/string save to RTF

  Hi, The required functionality I am aiming for is to pull out RTF content from a database, edit it through a web interface (with a WYSIWYG editor) and then place the modified text back in to the database (in RTF format). The control that I am using to do this is Telerik RadEditor (we have a license already for these controls). In the most recent version there appears to be functionality to load in RTF content from a string or a stream, but the only method I can see that is exposed for getting RTF back out is exportToRTF(); this method modified the headers and allows you to save a RTF version of the content you have just edited as a file. The functionality to convert from HTML to RTF must exist somewhere within their library as you can export a RTF file, but I can not find any publicly exposed methods to pass this in to a stream or a string. Does anybody know of a way that I can convert the HTML back to RTF using the Telerik libraries without saving out to a file? Thanks

There is always a cryptic message number that is a parameter. • Reuse classes and objects for both WCF and non-WCF

  I have several classes such as Order, Customer, etc. These classes serve for holding data and nothing more. I want to be able to reuse these classes in other projects in the future, but for some reason I don't quite understand, WCF forces me to decorate the data members with the [DataMember] attribute, forcing me to reference WCF plumbing that I will never use in other projects. I would imagine that WCF lets you take any serializable class and use it as a content type. Am I understanding this correctly?

  I've got about 100 million rows that I'm moving in SSIS 2008 via a Data Flow Task. It's pretty much a straight table data copy using a Multicast. My question is this: Using the OLE DB Destination Editor I have two options: Rows per batch and Maximum insert commit size. What are good settings for this? I've only been able to find that you are recommended to set Maximum insert commit size to 2147483647 instead of 0, but then tweak both these settings based on testing. I'm curious to find out if anyone has discovered anything useful in their own management of these values.

• Android SlidingDrawer in Eclipse IDE

  I am trying to design an application for Android that makes use of the SlidingDrawer, but I have not been able to use the form (layout?) designer to add this element without producing an exception "IllegalArgumentException: The handle attribute is required and must refer to a valid child." As of March 17th, I believe I have everything up to date (Eclipse, and the Android SDK). All the SDK components have been installed. I have created two Android virtual devices, One for version 1.0, and one for version 2.1 when I figured out that 1.0 didn't support the SlidingDrawer. I have tried importing the samples provided in the SDK, as well as several other layouts from the web that I have found, all of which produce this same exception. My programming background is mostly C++, and I consider myself to be a novice programmer, so feel free to talk to me as if I were an idiot so that I will understand. ^^;

  I'm working on a WYSIWYG editor with builtin spell checker Hunspell and online highlighting of misspelled words. I'm using Webbrowser control as a html handler. It's a way easy to spell check text than html in webbrowser control, but following this way I'm losing all html formatting. So the question is: is there any way to spell check body innertext and then convert it to body innerhtml with previous formatting?
