    Hello: I have a simple webpage that displays the credit balance for calling cards. So far without any problems, with HTML, PHP and mysql, I was able to retrieve the balance from a data base. But I have to display the result in ANOTHER PAGE, wich looks akward because the page must reload. Can I just load this value into a pre-drawed field under the input fields that collect the data from the customer?     I've created a form to update my websites homepage with content but I wanted to know how I could set it up so that a posts title links to a specific post ID. I'd also like to add a Read More link that directs anybody reading the blog to the correct post. How can I do this without having to serialize the object every time I need to pass it to a new page?

  • Firefox can not layout nested tables properly?

    I want to implement a collapsible menu. I plan to use table component to simulate a menu, and nest a sub table into a table cell to simulate a sub menu. Other browsers will calculate the offset base on the level 2 menu, that works as expected. Is it a bug in Firefox? If so how can I work around it? I want my code to have the same behavior in all major browsers.

  • What's causing this background-image to display "incorrectly" in Opera and Firefox?

    I know this is something I'm probably doing wrong, so please don't incinerate me for the thread title. I'm trying to put together a small personal website using HTML 5/CSS3. I've checked with the w3c validator and the site and CSS file fully conform according to the validator (However the validator has a warning attached that it might not be perfect). I'm not sure how to explain it without a picture, so here's a comparison of Chrome/Opera/Firefox: So, you can sorta see how in Chrome the background image is in one non-repeating piece, whereas in Opera/Firefox the image has, oddly, been broken up and placed slightly differently. I'm confident this is due to an error on my part, but I've had no luck at all figuring out why the image is being mangled in Opera and Firefox.   • JQuery. Layout is shaking during animation

    Hello everybody, JQuery accordion animation (as well as simple hides / shows) looks weird with some browsers (IE, Opera). But Fire Fox and Chrome renders animation perfectly without artifacts. Html layout tends to shake with IE / Opera during animation as if surrounding paddings / margins are changed for small random value. How can I minimize this effect. Is it jquery bug or browsers issue?
