  • Call Dispose() on a WindowsIdentity object? C#

    - by Andy
I am retrieving a WindowsIdentity object by calling: win_id = System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent(); with the intention of getting the currently logged on user name, which works fine. WindowsIdentity implements IDisposable, but since I din't create the object myself, do I still need to call .Dispose() on it when I am finished with it or not? Thanks.

  • how to make DIV show up on top of other Divs

    - by feelexit
I upload my code on jsFiddle, you can see it there. http://jsfiddle.net/SrT2U/2/ When you click on the link, the hidden FAQ section will show up, and it will push other divs down. But that is not what I want, I need all other divs stay where they are, and my hidden FAQ section just float on the top. Not sure how to do it. Not even sure if this should be done in HTML, CSS or jQuery. My jQuery code: $(function(){ $(".OpenTopMessage").click(function () { $("#details").slideToggle("slow"); }); }); HTML code: <div style="border: 1px solid #000;"> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> </div> <div id="faqBox"> <table width="100%"> <tr><td><a href="#" id="openFAQ" class="OpenTopMessage">this is hte faq section</a></td> </tr> </table> <div id="details" style="display:none"> <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/> the display style property is set to none to ensure that the element no longer affects the layout of the page <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/> </div> </div> <br/><br/> <div style="background:#c00;">other stuff heren the height reaches 0 after a hiding animation, the display style property is set to </div>

  • turn array into object active record can use

    - by stormdrain
I'm running a query and then decrypting it in the controller. After it is decrypted I was putting the results into an array and sending that to the view. The problem is with this solution I need to rewrite all of my views to parse the arrays sent instead of the active record objects sent before. Is there a way to turn the decrypted array back into an object that will work with existing active record code in the view? Before Controller: $name = $this->Clients_model->getNameData('*','client_id='.$clid,''); $data['name'] = $name; $this->load->view('names/name_view',$data); View: if($name->num_rows()) > 0){ foreach($name->result() as $row){ echo $row->data; [...] Now Controller: $name = $this->Clients_model->getNameData('*','client_id='.$clid,''); $nameArray= array(); foreach ($name->result() as $row){ $x = $row; $keys = array('id','client_id'); $unenc = array(); foreach ($x as $key=>$value){ if(! in_array($key, $keys)){ $unenc[$key]=$this->encrypt->decode($value,$this->e_key); }else{ $unenc[$key]=$value; } } array_push($nameArray,$unenc); } //Creates an object with the data, but doesn't work with CI active record //foreach ($nameArray as $akey => $aval) { // $namea -> {$akey} = $aval; //} //return $data; $data['name'] = $nameArray; $this->load->view('names/name_view',$data); View: if(count($name) > 0){ foreach($name as $key=>$row){ echo $row['data']; [...] In the second (now) controller there is some commented out code that will make an object, but it doesn't behave as expected with active record. Is there a way to take the $nameArray() array and change it into an object that will work with existing view code (such as the code in the 'before:view' above)? Thanks!

  • Passing a complex object to a page while navigating in a WP7 Silverlight application

    - by Andreas Grech
I have been using the NavigationService's Navigate method to navigate to other pages in my WP7 Silverlight app: NavigationService.Navigate(new Uri("/Somepage.xaml?val=dreas", UriKind.Relative)); From Somepage.xaml, I then retrieve the query string parameters as follows: string val; NavigationContext.QueryString.TryGetValue("val", out val); I now need a way to pass a complex object using a similar manner. How can I do this without having to serialize the object every time I need to pass it to a new page?

  • log in and send sms with java

    - by noobed
    I'm trying to log into a site and afterwards to send a SMS (you can do that for free by the site - it's nothing more than just enter some text into some fields and 'submit'). I've used wireshark to track some of the post/get requests that my machine has been exchanging with the server - when using the browser. I'd like to paste some of my Java code: URL url; String urlP = "maccount=myRawUserName7&" + "mpassword=myRawPassword&" + "redirect_http=http&" + "submit=........"; String urlParameters = URLEncoder.encode(urlP, "CP1251"); HttpURLConnection connection = null; // Create connection url = new URL("http://www.mtel.bg/1/mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index/mo/1"); connection = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection(); connection.setRequestMethod("POST"); //I'm not really sure if these RequestProperties are necessary //so I'll leave them as a comment // connection.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", // "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); // connection.setRequestProperty("Accept-Charset", "CP1251"); // connection.setRequestProperty("Content-Length", // "" + Integer.toString(urlParameters.getBytes().length)); // connection.setRequestProperty("Content-Language", "en-US"); connection.setUseCaches(false); connection.setDoInput(true); connection.setDoOutput(true); // Send request DataOutputStream wr = new DataOutputStream( connection.getOutputStream()); wr.writeBytes(urlParameters); wr.flush(); wr.close(); String headerName[] = new String[10]; int count = 0; for (int i = 1; (headerName[count] = connection.getHeaderFieldKey(i)) != null; i++) { if (headerName[count].equals("Set-Cookie")) { headerName[count++] = connection.getHeaderField(i); } } //I'm not sure if I have to close the connection here or not if (connection != null) { connection.disconnect(); } //the code above should be the login part //----------------------------------------- //this is copy-pasted from wireshark's info. String smsParam="from=men&" + "sender=0&" + "msisdn=359886737498&" + "tophone=0&" + "smstext=tova+e+proba%21+1.&" + "id=&" + "sendaction=&" + "direction=&" + "msgLen=84"; url = new URL("http://www.mtel.bg/moyat-profil-sms-tsentar_3004/" + "mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index"); connection = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection(); connection.setRequestMethod("POST"); connection.setRequestProperty("Cookie", headerName[0]); connection.setRequestProperty("Cookie", headerName[1]); //conn urlParameters = URLEncoder.encode(urlP, "CP1251"); connection.setUseCaches(false); connection.setDoInput(true); connection.setDoOutput(true); wr = new DataOutputStream( connection.getOutputStream()); wr.writeBytes(urlParameters); wr.flush(); wr.close(); //I'm not rly sure what exactly to do with this response. // Get Response InputStream is = connection.getInputStream(); BufferedReader rd = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(is, "CP1251")); String line; StringBuffer response = new StringBuffer(); while ((line = rd.readLine()) != null) { response.append(line); response.append('\r'); } rd.close(); System.out.println(response.toString()); if (connection != null) { connection.disconnect(); } so that's my code so far. When I execute it ... I don't receive any text on my phone - so it clearly doesn't work as supposed to. I would appreciate any guidance or remarks. Is my cookie handling wrong? Is my login method wrong? Do I pass the right URLs. Do I encode and send the parameter string correctly? Is there any addition valuable data from these POSTs I should take? P.S. just in any case let me tell you that the username and password is not real. For security reasons I don't want to give valid ones. (I think this is appropriate approach) Here are the POST requests: POST /1/mm/auth/mc/auth/ma/index/mo/1 HTTP/1.1 Host: www.mtel.bg User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1 Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate Connection: keep-alive Referer: http://www.mtel.bg/1/mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index/mo/1 Cookie: __utma=209782857.541729286.1349267381.1349270269.1349274374.3; __utmc=209782857; __utmz=209782857.1349267381.1.1.utmcsr=(direct)|utmccn=(direct)|utmcmd=(none); __atuvc=28%7C40; PHPSESSID=q0mage2usmv34slcv3dmd6t057; __utmb=209782857.3.10.1349274374 Content-Type: multipart/form-data; boundary=---------------------------151901450223722 Content-Length: 475 -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="maccount" myRawUserName -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="mpassword" myRawPassword -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="redirect_https" http -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="submit" ........ -----------------------------151901450223722-- HTTP/1.1 302 Found Server: nginx Date: Wed, 03 Oct 2012 14:26:40 GMT Content-Type: text/html; charset=Utf-8 Connection: close Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Pragma: no-cache Location: /moyat-profil-sms-tsentar_3004/mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index Content-Length: 0 The above text is vied with wireshark's follow tcp stream when pressing the log in button.   • iTunes style layout using CSS

    - by Liam
What is the best way (using HTML/CSS) to create an iTunes-style layout with the following features: a left column with a fixed width but fluid height (scrollbars for overflow) (BLUE below) a main content column with fluid width and height (scrollbars for overflow) (RED below) a bottom right box with fixed width and height which remains stuck to the bottom of the browser? (GREEN below) Here is an example: I'm happy to use Javascript/JQuery if there really isn't a pure CSS solution. Thanks!

  • Stretching DIV to 100% height and width of window but not less than 800x600px

    - by El Eme
I have a page that needs to stretch and resize with with window and I've managed to do that but I need that the "inner div" (#pgContent) stretch if the window is resized to higher dimensions but that it doesn't shrink more than, let's say for example 800 x 600 px. As I have it now it stretches well but it also shrinks more than I want! It's working as I want in width but not in height!? Here's a visual example: My CSS: * { margin: 0; padding: 0; outline: 0; } /*| PAGE LAYOUT |*/ html, body { height: 100%; width: 100%; /*text-align: center;*/ /*IE doesn't ~like this*/ cursor: default; } #pgWrapper { z-index: 1; min-height: 100%; height: auto !important; /*min-height: 600px;*/ /* THIS SHOULD WORK BUT IT DOESN'T */ height: 100%; min-width: 1000px; width: 100%; position: absolute; overflow: hidden; text-align: center; background: #000; } #pgContent { position: absolute; top: 30px; left: 30px; right: 30px; bottom: 50px; overflow: hidden; background: #CCC; } #footWrapper { z-index: 2; height: 50px; min-width: 940px; position: absolute; left: 30px; right: 30px; bottom: 0px; background: #C00; } /*| END PAGE LAYOUT |*/ And the HTML: <body> <div id="pgWrapper"> <div id="pgContent"> This DIV should stretch with window but never lower than for example 800px x 600px!<br /> If window size is lower then scrollbars should appear. </div> </div> <div id="footWrapper"> <div id="footLft"></div> <div id="footRgt"></div> </div> </body> If someone could give me a help on this I would appreciate. Thanks in advance.

  • Reinject dependencies of a freshly deserialized object

    - by NathanE
If a program has literally just deserialized an object (doesn't really matter how, but just say BinaryFormatter was used). What is a good design to use for re-injecting the dependencies of this object? Is there a common pattern for this? I suppose I would need to wrap the Deserialize() method up to act as a factory inside the container. Thanks!
