  I'm trying to setup log rotation in rails. I have put this in my environment/development.rb: config.logger = Logger.new("#{RAILS_ROOT}/log/#{ENV['RAILS_ENV']}.log", 1, 5*1048576) 2 files are created :-) but it looks like rails is writing to them randomly and at the same time as well. This creates messy log files :-( what am I missing?

  If I made a homepage with an embedded .swf which had buttons that linked to other html pages on my website using the getUrl() function, would those links be spiderable by google? Or should I also put in text links outside of the .swf (which would ruin the design a bit)?   I keep getting class undefined error from Visual Studio with my C++ code. My file looks like this: namespace myProject; scope myProject{ class FreeFormWindowsWidgetWindow : public WindowsWidget{ // shell } } But when I put FreeFormWindowsWidgetWindow in the same file as my other classes, it sees it.   i am passing the textbox1.text values into a query and sometimes into a string sometimes i say this: dim combor1 as string combor1 = comboReason1.Text how do i know when i should put combor1=comboreason1.value ?? also why do i need to set focus for a control to reference its property? that doesn't make sense to me also when i set combor4 = comboReason4.Value and the .value is null, then i get an error about invalid use of null please help!
