  My site allows anonymous users. I saw that under heavy load user get sometimes profile values from other users. This happens for anonymous users. • ajax error when calling from javascript

  Hi, I' still newby to this so I'll try to explain what I'm doing. Basically what I want is to load a dropdownlist depending on the value of a previous one, and I want it to load the data and appear when the other one is changed.   I'm having a bit of trouble with the client-side validation in the ASP.NET MVC 2 framework and hope someone can help me out. In several situations I find it useful to be able to reset the contents of a form or just a single input element and I need any validation errors to disappear. This in itself is not very hard, and the suggestion provided here works well enough: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2798427/how-do-i-clear-mvc-client-side-validation-errors-when-a-cancel-button-is-clicked The problem is that, when triggered, client validation goes into an aggressive mode that performs validation on each key press and when an input loses focus. Is there a good way to reset this state as well?

• Deploying WPF application: .NET 3.5 issues

  Hi all, Users around my country are currently beta-testing our application. My app uses WPF & Linq, so I need .NET 3.5 installation. On most system, everything works find, including automatic installation on .NET 3.5 on machines that do not have that installed yet. However, on one machine (XP SP2) my application does not run. The user reported no issues during .NET 3.5 installation (except for a process that need to close before the installer could continue - he closed the process and continued). The application crashes on startup. To debug this issue, I did the following: Have him reboot his machine Let him manually re-install the .NET 3.5 framework (no errors reported) Have him run a test WPF app that only displays a button - also crashes Let him send the .NET 3.5 installation logs - these are huge, don't now where to look Does anyone have strategy on how to debug such issues? I expect that this will occur more when the application is released..

  I found the follwing code in MSDN . How can I change this "UnitsInStock" with a value that my Product class has. For instance, Product has a FieldType property which has a string property called Name. I'd like to use that FieldType.Name property instead of hardcoding with a string. However, I cannot specify "this", or the current instance as an argument of the UIHint attribute .   Hi, I'm passing from the controller an array generated by the next code: public ActionResult GetClasses(bool ajax, string kingdom) { int _kingdom = _taxon.getKingdom(kingdom); var query = (from c in vwAnimalsTaxon.All() orderby c.ClaName select new { taxRecID = c.ClaRecID, taxName = c.ClaName }).Distinct(); return Json(query, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet); } The query List should be ordered, but it doesn't work, I get the names of the classes ordered wrong in the array, because I've seen it debugging that the names are not ordered.The view is just a dropdownbox loaded automatically, so I'm almost sure the problem is with the action. Do you see anything wrong?Am I missing something?

When Infinite Scroll makes de request, he increments the wrong number, in the case above, the request is: "/category/3?page=2" in place of "/category/2?page=3". Anyone knows how workaround this?

  In my experience, .net is 2 to 3 times slower than native code. (I implemented L-BFGS for multivariate optimization). I have traced the ads on stackoverflow to http://www.centerspace.net/products/ the speed is really amazing, the speed is close to native code. How can they do that? They said that: Q. Is NMath "pure" .NET? A. The answer depends somewhat on your definition of "pure .NET". NMath is written in C#, plus a small Managed C++ layer. For better performance of basic linear algebra operations, however, NMath does rely on the native Intel Math Kernel Library (included with NMath). But there are no COM components, no DLLs--just .NET assemblies. Also, all memory allocated in the Managed C++ layer and used by native code is allocated from the managed heap. Can someone explain more to me? Thanks!
