I know this is inefficient and can be done with a couple of lines of code. It seems like there is a way of saying: when this is clicked, hide the rest.     I know that there are some caching classes introduced in the iphone sdk recently, and there is also a TTURLRequest from three20's library that allows you to cache a request to a URL. However, because I am loading the web page in UIWebView by calling UIWebView's loadRequest, those techniques are not really applicable. Any ideas how I can save a web page so that on next app launch, I don't have to fetch from the web again for the full page? The page itself already have some ajax mechanism that updates parts of itself automatically.

Contents of .htaccess: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule cars/(.*) cars/member_page.php?user=$1 RewriteRule cars/(.*)/ cars/member_page.php?user=$1 Contents of member_page.php: <?php echo $_GET[user]; ?> URL entered into browser: http://www.mydomain.com/cars/user1 The browser outputs the string "member_page.php" instead of "user1" How do I make it output the contents of (.*) from the original URL.

    I've dynamacally added the circle elements to the svg displayed in a iFrame. Chrome isnt showing the new elements, not tried FF yet. Is there somekind of redraw/refresh I need to call?     Hello World. I'm tasked with reading a poorly formatted binary file and taking in the variables. Although I need to do it in C++ (ROOT, specifically), I've decided to do it in python because python makes sense to me, but my plan is to get it working in python and then tackle re-writing in in C++, so using easy to use python modules won't get me too far later down the road. Basically, I do this: In [5]: some_value Out[5]: '\x00I' In [6]: ''.join([str(ord(i)) for i in some_value]) Out[6]: '073' In [7]: int(''.join([str(ord(i)) for i in some_value])) Out[7]: 73 And I know there has to be a better way. What do you think?

  • Unable to generate temporary class for web service

    I have an application with a proxy class for my webservice - This works fine in all 32-bit machines. However the same app throws an exception in windows server 2008 64-bit machine. It looks like the temporary class could not be generated for the web service. The error in the event viewer is "error CS0008: Unexpected error reading metadata from file '' -- 'Bad Key.     Hi all, If I where to have a Queue holding a collection of objects (Custom object,bool,bool,bool,bool) and the custom object holds three doubles itself. Can I use the .Take(IntegerValue) command to only take one of the doubles (for the specified take length) from the custom entity contained in the queue and cast it to a double array, possibly with the .ToArray<double> function?     Hi, I'm doing a content loader and the content that gets loaded needs some Cufon action. And that doesn't work right now since I only apply Cufon when the initial page loads. And not the newly loaded content. Now, shouldn't this be working? function loadContent() { $('#content').load(toLoad,'',showNewContent()) Cufon.replace('h1, h2, h3, h4, .menuwrapper', { fontFamily: 'advent'});} Or am I not getting something?     I get this weird error everytime I debug in eclipse. It just seemed to appear one day and I was wondering if anyone else was running int the same problem. It does not affect my app in anyway visibly and does not cause a crash but it is an annoyance while debugging.   • How to stop OpenGL from applying blending to certain content? (cocos2d/iPhone/OpenGL)

    Supporting Info: I use cocos2d to draw a sprite (graph background) on the screen (z:-1). I then use cocos2d to draw lines/points (z:0) on top of the background -- and make some calls to OpenGL blending functions before the drawing to SMOOTH out the lines. Problem: The problem is that: aside from producing smooth lines/points, calling these OpenGL blending functions seems to degrade the underlying sprite (graph background). So there is a tradeoff: I can either have (Case 1) a nice background and choppy lines/points, or I can have (Case 2) nice smooth lines/points and a degraded background. But obviously I need both. The Code: I have included code of the draw() method of the CCLayer for both cases explained above. As you can see, the code producing the difference between Case 1 and Case 2 seems to be 1 or 2 lines involving OpenGL Blending.
