    Hello, I want to download a .mp3 file on a Website with NSSURLConnection on IPhone, This .mp3 URL of the file is: http://dl.mp3.kapsule.info/fsfsdfdsfdserwrwq3/fc90613208cc3f16ae6d6ba05d21880c/4b5244f0/b/7e/b7e80afa18d06fdd3dd9f9fa44b51fc0.mp3?filename=Every-Day-I-Love-You.mp3 When I built my app, it run OK. My app downloaded the .mp3 file successful and then played it. However, after a few days, I run my app again, the app can't downloaded the .mp3 file. How can I download the .mp3 file all the time?     I'm reading "Professional Team Foundation Server 2010" by Wrox, and in an advantages/disadvantages list, the said: "Like CVS, SVN makes use of .svn directories inside the source folders to store state of the local working copy, and to allow synchronization with the server. However, it can have the affect of polluting the local source tree, and can cause performance issues wiht very large projects or files." What does the bit about pollution mean? I've used SVN for C# & ASP.NET projects for a long time and haven't encountered any problems. What probably does this quote think I should have been watching out for?

  • Delete System Files containing string

    I am trying to write a batch file that will examine a given directory, read each file for a given string "Example" and then delete any files that contain the string. The files are also System Files so I don't know what the exact extension is or if that matters (maybe you can just omit a file type filter and have it read all files?). Some of the files will be locked from reading as well so it needs to handle access denial errors if that occurs, not sure how batch files handle that.

    Hi all, Just wondering if you can point me in the direction of a simple, fast program which stores code snippets. I have been using a local wiki up to now, but I find it a little annoying at times. Ideally I would like this application to be portable - i.e. it could run off of a USB stick on multiple machines with no installation. What do you guys use? EDIT: I would prefer a solution that was decoupled from the IDE and stored locally, not in the cloud. EDIT 2: Thanks for all the replies thus far, but I am still awaiting a non cloud / web based portable solution. Anyone else care to weigh in? :)

    I have been using Flesigrid for my CMS and I like it except there are some things I think it could do better like get the column headers from the ajax results rather then in the setup of the flexigrid or having the ability to change the buttons on reload things of that nature. I've been considering a mod of the plugin though I'm not sure i really want to do that. But the question is ... is there something that might be better that I somehow missed when I was looking for grid display ?

  • It is only uploading first row's file input

    I have a application which you can access here. If you open the application please click on the "Add" button a couple of times. This will add a new row into a table below. In each table row there is an AJAX file uploader. Now the problem is that if I click on the "Upload" button in any row except the first row, then the uploading only happens in the first row so it is only uploading the first file input only. Why is it doing this and how can I get it so that when then the user clicks the "Upload" button, the file input within that row of the "Upload" button is uploaded and not the first row being uploaded?   • Why do Git users say that Subversion does not have all the source code locally?

    I'm only going on what I've read on SO, so forgive me, but all I read says that one major advantage of Git over Subversion is that Git gives all the source code to the developer locally, not having to do anything on the server. With my limited using of SVN and TortoiseSVN, I had all the source code, or at least I thought I did. For example, I have a website. I upload it to SVN. I am still running my website locally, aren't I? If someone submits a change and I'm not connected, it wouldn't matter if I had Git or not, until I reconnect to the server. I do not understand. I'm not asking for a rehash of one vs. the other except this one point.

  • What license do I need to use gSOAP in a commercial product?

    I'd like to use gSOAP in a product which will be distributed commercially. The use I have in mind is what I suspect is a pretty typical workflow—generating a header using wsdl2h, consuming the header with soapcpp2, and then calling the functions generated in the stub in my code. I'm not 100 percent sure which license(s) I need to use to be able to do this. Has anybody here already gone through this and figured out the solution?

    Each day an application creates a file called file_YYYYMMDD.csv where YYYYMMDD is the production date. But sometimes the generation fails and no files are generated for a couple of days. I'd like an easy way in a bash or sh script to find the filename of the most recent file, which has been produced before a given reference date. Typical usage: find the last generated file, disregarding those produced after the May 1st. Thanks for your help

He will definitely try to extract the logic in my program. So I want to make my script impossible, or at least very very hard, to understand. The code is an SDL based OpenGL particle engine affair, nothing too complex.   • What Part of Your Project Should be in Source Code Control?

    A fellow developer has started work on a new Drupal project, and the sysadmin has suggested that they should only put the sites/default subdirectory in source control, because it "will make updates easily scriptable." Setting aside that somewhat dubious claim, it raises another question -- what files should be under source control? And is there a situation where some large chunk of files should be excluded? My opinion is that the entire tree for the project should be under control, and this would be true for a Drupal project, rails, or anything else. This seems like a no-brainer -- you clearly need versioning for your framework as much as you do for any custom code you write. That said, I would love to get other opinions on this. Are there any arguments for not having everything under control? Is this sysadmin a BOFH?

    What do you do with GitHub repositories you no longer maintain? For whatever reason a project is started with a GitHub repository and then sometime later it's abandoned Perhaps it was an experiment that didn't work out. Perhaps you replaced it with a commercial product. Or perhaps you found a similar project to what you were doing and joined their efforts instead. In the time your repository was alive, it attracted watchers and a few forks. What do you do with it at that point? Is there a way to nicely indicate that repository is no longer maintained and to either check out the forks or a different project?
