  • how to calculate power consumption on an Android mobile that uses wifi?

    Hello, I have implemented a routing protocol on an Android 1.6 mobile that uses wireless (ad-hoc) network in order to exchange messages. Now I would like to evaluate it under an energy consumption point of view, the base would be to try to calculate the energy wasted to transmit a single packet, do anybody has any idea how to do that? Software/hardware solutions are welcome! Thanx :)

Considering this adds hundreds of kilobytes to each Scala app redundantly, would it be possible to build a Scala library which can be delivered over the market, so app writers can just depend on that library instead of bundling it themselves?

    Hi everyone, In my JSP I have a dropdownlist and a submit button when clicking the submit button I loose the value already selected in my list. I am using the jstl because i need to construct other table corresponding the value selected in my list.For that I must call a submit button but the problem; it reset the value selected I want to know if there is a way to save the value selected in my list even I click a submit button. I work with JSP and eclipse environment. Think you for your help.

    I have a IE 7 button toolbar project on Visual C++. My question is, can my button have 2 *.rc files. Means, by default it will use the 1st *.rc file, and when certain condition achieve inside my *.cpp, the button will be using the 2nd *.rc file. Is this allowed in visual studio or IE7? edit: Both rc files has different information for icon image.

    I have the PHP below on a file called fblike.php. On another file, I have the Facebook Like button. The Like button functions. I would like to run the code below when the Facebook Like button is clicked. I know that FB.Event.subscribe('edge.create', function(response) {} is supposed to run whenever the Like button is clicked. I know that I am probably supposed to use Javascript and maybe Ajax to cause the PHP on fblike.php to run. But after multiple tries, I can't get it to work. What is the specific Ajax code that I could include within the Facebook Event? Here i have created a button(Create Server)..and when i click it ,it starts server...but i want to change the button name to (Stop Server) after Starting the server... so i did this.. but when i press start server it starts and the button name remains the same... and when a client gets connected to it ,then it change the name to stop server... tell me whats the wrong with this code?? I have tried $('a').buttonMarkup({ corners: "false" }) in every events such as pagebeforecreate, pageinit, pagecreate and mobileinit I never got it working and have been struggling with it to make it for quite a long time. I dont want to use data attribute data-corners="false" for now. Please suggest any ideas

    I have included the Google+1 button on my blog. Each post outputs a +1 button on the bottom. Depending if you are viewing the actual post or just the main page the +1 button will "+1" either the post address or blog website address. This made me think for a bit if the +1 button should be configured to +1 the blog section (www.example.org/blog), +1 the main website address (www.example.org), or +1 individual posts?
