    I built a mini-forum with social features for a client, to promote user registration, i planned to add a box on the forum pages to display pictures with profile links of random registered users. I managed to make this random selection static for a day, i mean the list will be renewed each day and not change on every page refresh. Could this random list of link could be harmful to seo by being considered as some kind of spam?

  • How do I change hyperlink colours in LibreOffice Impress?

    I have a lot of Powerpoint slides that I converted to LibreOffice Impress. The resulting hyperlinks are very faded, very hard to see. I can't seem to find any way to change the colour of hyperlinks as a whole. Any colour change I do make on an individual url link does not hold when converted back to .ppt which is sometimes necessary. I have tried the tools=options=libreoffice=appearance route but it only seems to affect the very first hyperlink in the slide set

  • Can the Abstract Factory pattern be considered as a case of polymorphism?

    I was looking for a pattern/solution that allows me call a method as a runtime exception in a group of different methods without using Reflection. I've recently become aware of the Abstract Factory Pattern. To me, it looks so much like polymorphism, and I thought it could be a case of polymorphism but without the super class WidgetFactory, as you can see in the example of the link above.     When posting a website link in a Facebook wall post, Facebook fetches some content (title, text and image) from the website to show it to readers. Is there a way I can adjust / propose which content is used / preferred by Facebook? I found someone saying to use <meta property="og:image" content="image.jpg">, but this doesn't seem to have any effect. But maybe Facebook caches these results for a while?

  • Empirical evidence regarding testability

    A google scholar search turns up numerous papers on testability, including models for computing testability, recommendations for how ones code can be more testable, etc. They all come with the assertion that more testable code is more stable, but I can't find any studies which actually demonstrate this. Can someone link me to a study evaluating the effect of testable code vs. quality? The closest I can find is Improving the Testability of Object Oriented Systems, which discusses the relationship between design flaws and testability.
