However, i'm dealing with the issue of creating and maintaining users and role membership. I know that I can roll my own solution but I'm wondering if there is an alternative solution?     There was this old sql server tool called Lectoneth or something like that, you'd put sql queries in it, and it would rewrite it for you. I think quest bought them out, but I can't find where to download a free copy of that software. Really helps when you have no dba, and have lots of sql queries to rewrite. Thanks Craig

    Is it possible to use Visual Studio's testing system with native code? I have no objection to recompiling the code itself under C++/CLI if it's possible the code can be recompiled without changes -- but the production code shipped has to be native code. The Premium Edition comes with code coverage support which I might be able to get cheaply from my University -- but I can get the Professional Edition for free from DreamSpark -- and that's the only thing I can see that I'd use. (But I'd use it a LOT)

    Hi Folks, Can you think of one type of error that might be found using White-Box testing, and one type using Black-Box testing. i.e. an error that would be found by one and not the other.     I'm going to have my website hosted soon on a VPS or dedicated server (with Windows 2008), so I'm trying to plan ahead. I wonder whether the built-in SMTP server that comes with IIS7 is reliable enough for a production server or should I look for an alternative?
