    Every time I call JPA method its creating entity and binding query. My persistence properties are: <property name="hibernate.dialect" value="org.hibernate.dialect.Oracle10gDialect"/> <property name="hibernate.cache.provider_class" value="net.sf.ehcache.hibernate.SingletonEhCacheProvider"/> <property name="hibernate.cache.use_second_level_cache" value="true"/> <property name="hibernate.cache.use_query_cache" value="true"/> And I am creating entity manager the way shown below: emf = Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory("pu"); em = emf.createEntityManager(); em = Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory("pu").createEntityManager(); Is there any nice way to manage entity manager resource instead create new every time or any property can set in persistence. So, my old key didn't work. What should I do? Plugin with wire cable to reconfigure it? - which is the only way? coz it was embedded in ceiling. I found no solutions in product manual and google.     We have a CMS system and in the production mode a number of servers only have read-only access to the content (with a few exceptions) and the editors for the site work on the content on servers behind it (which are not available to the public). We're caching the content quite a long time on the front servers, but sometimes we want the content the editors publish to be available for visitors instantly. What would the best way be to invalidate the cache in this situation, should we trigger it from our code?

  • How to detect when a user copies files from a server over the network?

    I have a few virtual servers + desktops that are used for shared development with remote users, including some consultants. Each user has an account with access to most aspects of the server. I don't want to prevent people from being productive, or track passwords or read emails, but I do want to know when and what files they copy from the virtual server or what they upload from the server to a remote site, and what if any applications they install. This will help make sure my IP is protected, that no one is installing tools they shouldn't, and that things are licensed appropriately. What is the simplest way to do this? In order of importance I would say detecting file transfers off the machine to be most critical. Thanks

    Hi, I am creating a WCF service which is to be hosted in Windows Service. I created a console application as follows I went to management console (services.msc) and started the service. But I got the following error "The LijosWindowsService service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service" I went to the event viewer and got the following "Service cannot be started.     I have small question about pdp-11(simulator), I have this command (it begins from the address 1000) add 2500, #2500 and this initial list: register/address - initial value pc 1000 sp 600 2500 3000 and I want to know how this small snippet exactly runs, in my booklet I found that: firstly it reads inforamtion from the address 1000, inside this address we have value 066727, after we read number from the address 1002, AND VALUE MUST BE 2500(because of add 2500, #2500), but in my booklet I have 1474 without any explanations why, I know that I have here relative addressing mode, but why 1474 inside the address 1002 and not 2500, thanks in advance for any help

    Does anyone know a c++ library that uses advanced encryption standard encryption that can achieve encryption and decryption (using counter mode) in just two lines of codes. No need of padding or buffering the plaintexts the library will take care of all this. I have had a look at crypto++, openssl and libtomcrypt but in these it seems I need to write codes to buffer and pad the plaintexts which I don't want. In brief, I need something along these lines: ciphertext = encrypt(ctr_mode(),plaintext,key) plaintext = decrypt(ctr_mode(),ciphertext,key) Thanks!

  • Parameters not being passed into template when using the .Net transform classes

    I am using the .Net XslCompiledTranform to run some simple XSLT (see below for a simplified example). The example XSLT is meant to do simply show the value of the parameter that is passed in to the template. The output is what I expect it to be (i.e. <result xmlns:p1="http://www.doesnotexist.com"> <valueOfParamA>valueA</valueOfParamA> </result> when I use Saxon 9.0, but when I use XslCompiledTransform (XslTransform) in .net I get <result xmlns:p1="http://www.doesnotexist.com"> <valueOfParamA></valueOfParamA> </result> The problem is that that the parameter value of paramA is not being passed into the template when I use the .Net classes. I completely stumped as to why. when I step through in Visual Studio, the debugger says that the template will be called with paramA='valueA' but when execution switches to the template the value of paramA is blank. Can anyone explain why this is happening? Is this a bug in the MS implementation or (more likely) am I doing something that is forbidden in XSLT? Any help greatly appreciated.   • IE8 complains about SSL name mistmatch

    When visiting an SSL protected website, IE8 complains about the certificate name not matching the website address, but gives no information about the certificate or what name it's looking for. Visiting the same site in IE9 (or IE9 in "IE8 mode"), Firefox, Chrome, and Safari shows no problems, and that the certificate matches the address. Certificate checkers indicate everything is installed and configured correctly. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Is this a known issue or bug in IE8? I've been Googling for similar issues, but due to the uncertainty as to what's actually going on, I'm not sure what to search for. My problem reads similar to this question. However, my server is running Apache2.

  • Why doesn't ifstream read to the end?

    I'm making a notepad-like program. To get the text from a file I read each character into the buffer by doing while (!file.EOF()) { mystr += file.get(); } however if I load in an exe it stops after MZ but Notepad reads the whole exe. I set my ifstream to binary mode but still no luck. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
